    Great video. For these kinds of things I prefer using my analog scope. It “feels” better.. no idea how to explain that but I think you get it.

      Yes, you are correct. I love seeing a waveform on the CRT. And knowing that that very waveform is what I am actually seeing. And not processed and printed to an LCD before I am able to work with it.

    Dear Mr Peepaw thank you for all your videos, they have been very helpful, I wanted to ask if you, I have a 3 Phase DC 24V servo motor, is there a good software to help me to to a report on the condition of the motor and help me to position the resolver at teh same time? I also have a Angle resolver used in a valve to let me know at what angle of opening is the valve do I tune it the same Cosine maximum wave and sine flat? thank you in advance.

    Hello mr.McDonald! thanks a lot for yours videos, it very useful, and I have a couple of question about resolver. 1. Which connection of the motor - Y or Triangle ? 2) If you put +5V to the U phase, and GND to the V phase, and 2(a) is it works on both Y and triangle motor? 2(b) do I have to set signal COS in MAX, or signal SIN in MAX position by oscilloscope 3) what if I make wrong place SIN and COS position? Will motor work? 4) What if my drive doesnt show any errors, but there are not enought torque on the shaft?

    Hi, how i can find a "dead motor postion" in Ac servomotor? Same as dc with dc power supply? Its posibble?

    If we set 7 volts in the primary coil, what will be the peak voltage in the cosine coil at angle zero Is it 7 volts or less? The rule to find out the peak voltage at angle zero is as follows (peak potential of the cosine signal = voltage on the input coil x cosine of angle sita) (V cosine=Vr x cos cita)
