Many will not care, but the designer of all ghillied up, One Shot One kill and No Russian were made by an Iranian designer that had just started working at Infinity Ward these COD4 missions were meant to test his skills
That is wild. Bro knew to make history you had to take chances. I hope the company compensated him well. Bro single-handedly influenced my entire teenage years and probably some of what I am today, I loved those games for the campaigns specifically
This mission alone used to terrify me because of how the plot was and the music alongside. Roaming around the ghost town filled with enemies and dogs ... Damn the nostalgia hits hard!
This mission is referenced in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, Operator Drewski points it out in his recent video when he showed off Pripyat. Specifically the sniper positioning.
Love how you deep dive in to the storyline across the board with your call of duty videos. I’ve learned so much in the span of a few of watching your videos, and I was just looking for a video explaining emergence. And yes, I think it’s the worst mission in the game lol Please keep making these videos and doing your thing! I think it’s absolutely awesome that you’ve taken the time to figure all these things out and connect the dots!
I still remember the day a friend from work showed me that trailer of when he got up from the grass the graphics for back then my god .. and from that day on I started playing cod didn’t play the mp for a good bit tbh
Compared to your traditional call of duty mission yes it’s a little different considering it became quickly part of the call of duty tradition to have a sniper mission. It didn’t change up the call of duty formula. I think ghosts where they gave us large Maps for everything in multiplayer as well as changed the zombies mode into extinction. That’s where I’d really say the call of duty franchise started to change and then continuously changed and never looked back specifically because we had the advanced movement Jetpack era of four or five games then we had two world war games Vanguard and World War II before the 2019 modern warfare trilogy and black ops Cold War. We’ve had quite a bit of change recently. But I don’t necessarily think it’s the sniper mission that caused it.
Same here buddy sort of lost it abite with the newer cods recently just played black ops one tonight and thought this is a proper call of duty game not like the newer ones filled with micro transactions SBMM
@ I can agree with the Sbmm and micro trans. The skins are getting wild. I was with it for a bit but I’m beginning to realize the better skins are the ones the resemble operatives in the real world. Blending with surroundings. Camos that camo and not give you up. It’s gone in a direction that’s just weird. I still enjoy the game and play most days or nights. I just miss how it used to be.
Man i remember playing all of these call of duty missions... i laugh when i read comments from younger players saying certain black ops games are the "best".. yall werent there LOL
Infinity ward themselves ( or I can say activision because of money ) ruined the MW legacy. Especially the Multiplayer. Modern warfare was better than Black ops back in the day.
I don’t get it. Black Ops is whole different series. It supposed to be different. That’s the whole point. It’s more fast paced arcade like which is why many enjoy it. Some people prefer more grounded gameplay while others prefer more over the top.
@ that’s what it is NOW.. it didn’t start off like that.. again you had to be there to understand.. I loved world at war.. a lot of people did but treyarc realized folks wanted something modern so they released black ops.
Whenever I see this Mission it brings a smile on my face every single time.... 6:27 that moment when everyone's ass was on the edge of their seat... 10:24 that's the next mission actually "One Shot, One Kill"
This is just a small nitpick but at 1:30 you say, “the Ukraine”, which the Ukrainians themselves dislike because it kind of implies that Ukraine is a province of a greater whole and not a sovereign state in and of itself. Sort of similar to their dislike of people saying “Kiev” instead of “Kyiv” since Kiev is how the Russians call it. That aside, another great video!
Great video, and nice little easter egg with the outro, Ink - "Until next time... Look at this place (...)". Was expecting your signature peace sign-off, but we got Macmillan doing it for you. ;)
Name suggestion: Call of duty legacy missions. These missions that changed or made call of duty famous and what call of duty is today should be called legacy missions.
Back when the campaign for a first person shooter game was an actual event and had passion and character and the rest of the game was built around that. It’s not the same anymore unfortunately, it’s so convoluted now and just lacks any character honestly
Not gonna lie, I had an idea pop into my head if you wanted to do one video (or even a series of them)- the best and worst campaigns from every entry in the Call of Duty series.
Thank you cover greatest present Call of Duty mission ever and nice to return to format that made they what loved. I love see Call of Duty return to open world format with Modern warfare weapons not stupid guns made effects just Straight up weapons with X fills lots of Bad guys with as open world properties as possible!!! Now pay for that and throw some great stories. Kind of wild lands but Call of Duty game play lets do it!!!
The mission that changed everything until Modern Warfare 2019 Warzone and crossplay and then there has been just shit 😢 up until Cold War then more garage and fortnite bundles
Love these kinds of missions due great challenge that had come to Call of Duty as it was all the fans always wanted and new content has lived up to since. We need a return to real Call of Duty not crap giving us. Give a open world with this world evolved than you will have some real for CoD players cut their teeth.
Is this a lame attempt at excusing BO6 for the Emergence mission? The mission that literally ruined its campaign, combined with the final mission and the moronic glass puzzle. BO6 blows and no amount of nostalgia will change that. Coming across like a propagandist, won’t be honest about the ball being dropped on BO6. It sucks and it was a smack in the face to people who like COD.
I'm saying it now, I dislike this mission. I'll agree it's the most iconic mission in all of CoD's history, liked that MWII had a mission that was a practically a remake of it. However, this mission annoyed me and I like stealth games like Metal Gear and Assassin's Creed. Trying to "let them pass" was difficult as it was in first person. I failed so many times as it was my foot the enemies would touch. It's not a bad mission by any means, but it just isn't my thing.
Dang it Why am I being recommended Indian and blame truth videos? I've never watched a Indian video for the reason as I do not know the language and blame Truth I never watched the bloke except when ink was criticizing him on his videos.

*_"50000 people used to live here... now it's a ghost town."_*
The most iconic line about most iconic location, in CoD and elsewhere.
This mission is referenced in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, Operator Drewski points it out in his recent video when he showed off Pripyat. Specifically the sniper positioning.
people don’t remember how iconic Clean House was, can’t remember a more clean mission than that in recent years
Clean House was my favorite mission from the modern call of dutys, the main reason i started playing the campaigns again
Back when the games were about the campaign and you got a cool little multiplayer bonus to it :p
One of the best campaign missions of all time
One of the best yeetvelocity1308 of all time
@@subaraz thanks man
@@yeetvelocity1308 Your welcome
Don't forget the AC-130 mission! That was definitely another one of those "holy s**t" moments in the original MW trilogy!
I gotta say the “get down, now!” scene does not hit the same without the music!!
My favorite was whiskey hotel from MW2 (the whole atmosphere of the invasion)
Should call it the C.O.D Files
Agreed
MW2019: Clean House

You should name this series 'Mission that built Call of Duty'
I still remember the day a friend from work showed me that trailer of when he got up from the grass the graphics for back then my god .. and from that day on I started playing cod didn’t play the mp for a good bit tbh

This is when my relationship with COD began.

Modern warfare games always had the coolest missions for campaigns

@ it’s not the same infinity ward.. those guys left after the og mw2 to make respawn ent

Almost the perfect mission. I like fast paced cod but still my favourite mission easily and one of the very first games I played.

Medal of Honor 2010 and Medal of Honor Warfighter. Best campaigns I have played ever.

“What do you need from me, son?” 😭😭
All Ghillied Up is what made me a Call of Duty fan great analysis on this iconic mission, I hope you’ll make a video on No Russian!

One of my all time favorite Call Of Duty mission
the mission that has a special place in our hearts
The Spec Ops missions had the same feel. Loved those.
Yeah this should definitely be a reoccurring series.
All ghillied up is one of the best mission i've ever played
The Archives Of Call Of Duty
I would like to see you cover the mission "Down the rabbit hole" in OG MW3!
I always felt bad that Infinite Warfare's amazing campaign was overshadowed by the hate of the multiplayer.
Even though they're the graphics of yesteryear, this era of COD felt more cinematic and visually enticing
I’d kill for the developers to care about the fan base enough still to make another mission like this (clean house is the exception)
Your Right Lad Best COD Mission of all Time
I think i played the All Ghillied up. I loved it. I did it 100% stealthy
Captain price was Macmillans Right hand man
I like that one mission from black ops 2 “karma” where they had adrenaline music playing it felt like I was john wick 😄
Name suggestion: Call of duty legacy missions.
These missions that changed or made call of duty famous and what call of duty is today should be called legacy missions.
After all of these cods, still one of the best, if not the best mission.
What about operation throwback

Call the series mission analysis
But they said Call Of Duty never had realism…
"No Russian"
More single mission cod now like ur alws play solo unlike the old cod u have a team
Just shorten the series name to COD Chronicles.
Pentagon bo1
next one us : no russian
Call of duty world at war
No CoD has ever looked as photorealistic as CoD4. Even to this day.
Wtf was that garbage assassination attempt 😭🤣💀

No russian

Could you possibly do a video on the mason family and how they have affected the call of duty timeline?
Ahh Stalker 2 moment ahhhhh

In Stalker 2 there is a easter egg on this mission) but for better experience enable Ukrainian voice localization)
Call Of Duty Ghost "No man's land" would be nice
