I really loved this mission. Its eerie atmosphere, bloodcurdling silence and mystery really makes you wonder what exactly happened here and specifically to Case. Raven tried to make a stand out mission so that even after playing the game you’ll remember this one for this mission and personally they did just that. I understand the criticism when it comes to this mission but when you look at this mission as a whole…it’s the epitome of Black Ops and I couldn’t be anymore thankful for it.
@ it was 90% Raven and 10% Treyarch. Treyarch purely goes into office making sure there is no plot-holes and whether or not the story is what they want. Raven does everything else and it used to be like this but the year is 2024 and well this is what we get.
My only complaint is that it was long. We got to not only know about cradle, we got to know more about William Calderoun (Case). The fact that he’s a super soldier makes it all the more awesome
I agree. Did on veteran first time and took me over 90 mins (I suck). When you go up the elevator to the fifth boss fight, I said you’ve got to be fucking kidding me. Great mission, just too long. Also the zombies in the main room inbetween visiting the four facilities kinda made me feel burned out and disengaged by boss fight four/five.
I was over the mission the minute I grabbed the first keycard and realized you just had to do the same damn thing 3-4 more times (and repeat that same process in all the other zombie missions)
I think the problem is that you have two studios who have their own vision of Call of Duty; Infinity Ward: Modern/ grounded warfare. Treyarch: Black Ops espionage/mind thriller (for those who don't get it, a lot of emphasis on their campaigns is focused on how people are being brainwashed or human psychology) not counting WaW Activision forcing the two studios to merge their series into one universe was a bad idea because you have two different studio visions conflicting with one another. Hence, why people are saying this mission it feels out of place for a Call of Duty.
as it should be if two different branches working together imagine marines running alongside CIA of course their methods with clash but theyre all under the same flag couldnt be too hard to improvise
I like the Black Ops series more than MW but this mission was just too much, should have been a zombies map instead of a campaign mission. The rest of the campaign is good
I feel like I found someone who understands what I mean when I say every zombies mission was actually just the same mission with the same 3 objectives and they were all equally lazy (besides the mannequins, even tho other games did that gag way before CoD did, that was still the only redeeming part of all the zombies mission for me)
People didn't like Emergence because the past zombies easter eggs were passive and easy to miss. The ray gun easter egg in WaW and thunder gun easter egg in Black Ops were very specific in what you had to do. In Cold War, the zombies one was part of Bell's imagination to toy with Adler and the crew. In this mission, people either didn't understand the zombies were hallucinations or just don't like zombies being part of the camapign as a whole.
I am the latter. Easter eggs here and there i think are pretty cool, but having a whole mission filled with zombies annoyed me. If i want to play zombies, ill choose the zombies game mode.
It’s not scary if you thought the mannequins were scary you clearly haven’t played any of the Nuketown Easter eggs, which have been in the games for years or any of the world at war zombies maps considering they’re actually horrifying, especially verruckt
It's more so that people don't enjoy zombies actively coming into campaign outside of small easter eggs such as the thundegun in black ops or the zombies one in cold war. If you thought Emergence was scary, I'd highly suggest avoiding actual horror games.
@@nickosmondYou must be a little child to think a abandoned a insane asylum is scary that shit is not even fucking close to being scary if you take out the zombies then it's just nothing there's nothing there this argument works even more because it's a multiplayer map it's in the campaign to😂
Emergence was the only mission I wasn’t interested in, but it did show me why the rogue Black Ops team had to prevent Jane Harrow from unleashing the Cradle. I was more interested in finding out who Raul Menendez’s mole in Panama was.
Well Here is a Lil Thing for you to make you even more hyped or smt. Zomies and bo Story Back to bo1 has sum similiar Things Like Charakters who plays important roles and even vanguard Story is a Lil Part in Bo Story. In vanguard the NS tried to Get invincible super soldiers With sum Nova Projekt (a Projekt that actually creates undead soldiers) they tried it With sum relicts so the cradle could be smt Like that. A biological weapons Like a Virus and the Side effects causes the whole outbreak so it would make Sense why there are Charakters in both parts (Story and Zombie) so bo6 could be the Missing Part between Zombies and Story and Activision May try to connect it finally. Case could be the 1st infected or smt Like a new Zombie Boss or smt. So this whole Mission makes more sense as many think and i'm hyped to See what we Get in the Future. Ik my english is Not the best but i Hope you may understand everything
@@JeanReaperVanguard tried to connect itself to World of War but since the game was absolute horrid dog shit they went back on that decision and never brought it up again for Black Ops 6 it's different the entire point is mystery and uncertainty and also it wouldn't make sense for Black Ops 2 if we went after Menendez now because for the timeline to function we won't be able to kill him so that would be pointless also it's heavily implied at Jackson Cane who was there in the multiplayer and campaign or Jane was the mole but no one is 100% sure
Zombies being there completely makes sense. The cradle makes you agressive by you hallucinating, one of the things you hallucinate are zombies but you also see other people as zombies (or other threats i assume) so thats why you get agressive towards them. Case’s mask broke and he inhaled the cradle so you hallucinated. And this wasn’t treyarch’s way of merging the campaign and zombies storyline since in zombies the zombies dont come from the cradle but they are real things. So it’s not because of cheaping out and being lazy in terms of story. But yes the bosses being reused is because of being lazy
I liked that mission. But in the three last games, what we're seeing is a campaign that is a kind of exercise for the other modes, like the open world missions, driving vehicles, the armored enemies, and now the zombies. Black Ops 6 has a great balance among all this stuff, but personally when I play the campaign, I want to experience the campaign, if I want to play zombies or warzone I'll play zombies or warzone.
During emergence the mannequins were actual mannequins. the zombies were Pantheon soldiers that’s why they keep jumping in between being zombies and pantheon for a brief second, Cradle was causing Case to see them as zombies the bosses are the only part I can’t explain what they were supposed to be outside of the trip. The entire mission is showing why everyone who was affected by cradle eventually started to act violent and psychotic, and to tell the player that case was the first person it was tested on and how it affected him.
My favorite part of the mission was with the mannequins as the boss, where they moved when you weren’t looking. I was severely disappointed when the mannequins turned into a boss I already fought in this mission.10:55
Loved the campaign, just didn’t like this mission because it was zombies and I’m not really a zombies player but I loved how treyach took risks and changed it up
@@EvanSolomonBergerNo, the video the crew found made clear that it turned people into a zombie like mode, Case alucinated because he was already tested with it, therefore, he was resistant to most of its effects, the zombies only appeared because he had to expell that feeling in some way
One more thing: the cradle is a hallucinogenic that causes severe mania and forces them to attack their victims. The victims are not zombies, but a hallucination of such.
I liked the mission. But how I see it is 2 different things could be happening: 1 when exploring the facilities and breathing in the cradle gas it's causing case to hallucinate the zombies in the abandoned place thinking your being attacked by them. 2 the cradel gas is making Case remember what happened before when he was at the facility and got tested on with the cradel. So Case imagined all the real people back then as zombies attacking him so he went on a killing spree in the moment. And the gas is making him see them again, That's why he couldnt distinguish the real people and the zombies when they change suddenly. Maybe thats why he was the last to be tested. But IDK
The whole mission was sick, it had me engaged the whole time. I remember at the end of it I was so happy that I’m getting to leave that place. Completing that mission actually meant something for me in the end.
Emergence was amazing. Having a mission to understand how Case backstory is great. Same in BOCW where we find out that Bell backstory was with the Red Door mission. This really reminded me of Control with the constant telephone ringing and the music to the boss battles.
I really enjoyed this mission it was a break from traditional cod missions and though it gave me a few jump scares and spooked me a little (played around midnight) it could have been designed to give a better understanding of how it fit in the overarching bo 6 narrative but overall I really enjoyed it
That's the point case is tripping out because of cradle so he is hallucinating seeing zombies that's the reason behind this mission honestly this was one of the best missions I've ever fucking played instant top five but nothing will ever compare to all ghillied up like what you said ink
Heres the thing, the zombies in this mission were all hallucinations of case in this mission, so it doesn't really matter, people that dont like this mission need to get that in their head. If you dont like, thats fine, you aren't gonna replay this mission again
I thought it was okay, my main issue was that it was too long. 2 or 3 keycards would have made it better because by the time I was getting the 4th one I was pretty done with the mission
Exactly, why subject players to such horrendous horror? Especially for someone new to cod, that mission alone will discourage them to come back, and I actually did not remember that it was 5 key cards, all I reminisce is going through endless nasty zombies, shooting my way to safe zone!
I'm guessing people that aren't familiar with zombies or survival horror games in general would think it'd be a very long mission. I thought it was alright, but that's because I'm also used to playing zombies and games like Resident Evil, where backtracking back and forth is just something I'm already accustomed with.
@@EpsilonChurchRVB I'm used to cod zombies at least. I just think they could have made it shorter and the pacing would be a lot better. As it is now it feels like a fetch quest
My only issue is I have to do that stupid fucking computer hacking a mini game I'm tired of it I get it like five times every single level holy shit how many times are they going to glaze this feature
Emergence was cool, but it was boring. It just went on way too long, and I was tired of the "zombies" trope by the end of the game, where they bring in zombies and zombie-like things ever since Cold War. If they reduced the actual zombies fights to 1 or 2 instead of 4, then went back to normal, I'd probably like it more
I get why it's there. I appreciate the innovation. But I only have two reasons why I don't like it: 1. I'm just not into anything horror-related stuff. 2. I always play in Veteran difficulty, so this mission was ROUGH, haha. Took me a very long time.
Surprisingly I didn’t have too many hang ups when I went through on Veteran. Though my cheeks were definitely clenched on the close calls. Especially with the final boss. Though I had my fair share of deaths. One of them was because I didn’t know I had to do anything when the abomination charges Case. So I died laughing when it popped the death screen. My favorite of the bosses was the mimic. Simply because 115 was playing in the background and I felt like I was back in Kino Der Toten.
I really love the mission, but I think why everybody hates it is because there’s always a storm of zombies coming at you and a boss every single two minutes that’s why I hate it too, but in total, I really like the design and where the devs are trying to go with this mission. I really love this mission but if they just don’t make us fight 25 bosses 25 swarms of zombies all at the same exact time this would be the best mission in the game
I might sound crazy again: For marketing purposes, it felt like an apologetic letter to the zombie community but at the same time bring them into playing the campaign. My option: I enjoyed the level but at the same time scared that each keycard was a strong zombie from previous games. Would've been even more shocked if the devs brought any other special zombie from the older games or from a non-Black Ops zombie game. For casuals or critics: keep that same energy with zombies being in the BO3 campaign and that one scene in Cold War. I may be missing others too but haven't played them. Overall mission if changed: yeah mannequins or the people that worked in the Applications lab along with Adler since he used to be there a decade ago should've been the main enemies. I want to say have guns be part of the hallucinating parts but it has to have guns from 10 years ago so you gotta code in like Cold War guns or something.
Another reason this dream/hallucination sequence doesn’t make sense is because in black ops one when Mason saw a rocket launch out of the building he was captured and interrogated by Hudson. It’s not because he was hallucinating, but because previously in the campaign in an earlier mission, we had literally played as Mason as we shot a rocket out of the sky, so it’s not like he’s hallucinating a rocket launch for no reason it’s literally buried in his memory and that’s why he’s seeing it when did Case experience zombies?
Since zombies is cannon to the campaign I assumed it was an Easter egg that he had seen zombies. Possibly members of project Janus were working in the same facility
@@goodpotato1000 where is the cannon campaign zombie mission in Black ops one and two? Do you see what I mean? Yes some of the characters in zombies come from the campaign but thats it Notice how we don’t meet Rick in the campaign or any of the Apothecons or keepers or any of the other magic creatures in zombies. Notice how in the campaigns were not finding any relics from the zombies world. Yes it’s Canon but it’s also separate.
The zombie aspect really I think was just to throw in zombies. 😅 If they didn't make Case another mute, maybe they could have had some back story reference that he hates zombies or something and then seeing him hallucinate zombies while under the effects of the gas would make sense since it appears to create substantial fear and cause a raging fight response in people.
@@TheNinjaCoby I understand what you mean they could’ve worked it in to cases backstory that he had actually come from the zombies universe or zombie side of the call of duty world, which is why he already has knowledge of zombies and hates them so much which relates to what you said and why he’s so scared of them but they didn’t. Big missed opportunity
@@nickosmond at the time of bo1 and 2 the zombies storyline was completely separate, and you wouldn’t expect there to be a connection. But they have mentioned parts of the dark aether zombies lore in more recent campaigns so it’s not out of the question when it comes to bo6. That being said I think the real world explanation is more likely that people liked the zombies in the trippy bell mission in Cold War so they did it again here.
I personally loved this mission for multiple reasons. The only time we saw zombies in a campaign was in a cold war easter egg that was playable for like 3 minutes until you died and couldn't do it in that missions playthrough again. And also in the BO6 mission its not just like zombies start appearing out of nowhere being insanely unrealistic. Instead its you start breathing in gas causing yourself to hallucinate. At the part at the door when they first start spawning I had no idea zombies were gonna show up behind me and i was TERRIFIED lol. It was a pretty creepy and a bit of a challenging mission but it was fun and unique. I've never been so scared in a call of duty campaign mission lol
Emergence is THAT mission. Every game has that mission that you always remember, All Guiled Up, No Russia, Payback and Alone. These missions are the best as they always stand out from the rest and are always remembered fondly.
I don’t mind the zombies because the film in the post-mission cutscene shows how aggressive the case studies become. Their perspective after being exposed to The Cradle could be showing them a plethora of monsters and scary sights - making them react that way. Either way, I loved the mission 🔥
Really fun and interesting mission, only thing that gave me issues was trying to do it on veteran, really difficult when the normal zombies kill you in 2 hits and having to fight the bosses on top at the same time
I’m not a fan of it because I don’t enjoy horror or scary games, and to me, this mission-and the last one-had that kind of vibe. That said, I think the emotions I felt were exactly what Treyarch intended for players in that moment, so they definitely accomplished their goal. From that perspective, I’d say they did a fantastic job.
I was not expecting the mossion to go that way, and because of that, I really enjoyed it. Throwing a mix of horror and mystery into the story was a great move, and I think that was done intentionally to make the game a bit more exciting, a great mission, and damn those mannequins freaked me out.
This mission just leaves me with way too many questions, which is a good thing. I think having 3 keycards would probably be a better balance, or maybe more psychological stuff instead of fighting zombies all the time during the mission. Either way adored it completely
What if Cradle is the reason we got "zombies" in the first place? It would be a stretch of the "it was just a dream" setup, but a simple way to link the two modes.
Yup, probably a seed to unite the mode in the future, the Cradle being the first prototype for zombie like humans and it's enhanced by someone founding the research somehow and turning into something even worse
Some interesting facts about emergence- 1. If u melee a zombie to death without a melee weapon (like the axe) the zombies turn into armored soldiers as they die. 2. This mission references a water chamber, and if Case is in fact a super soldier he could breathe under water longer than normal and probably hints at Case living in the end 3. Harrow's zombie scene she ends up inside the same facility as Case does in this mission, as well as the voice in Case's head is clearly Harrow's. Harrow is probably a super soldier as well, but didnt go crazy like Case, and is probably the one who stopped him. It is the voice in our head that tells us you are the first and last test subject, also Harrow has 2 sides to herself just like Case does. The Truth LIES
I personally love this mission because it plays with the idea that we don't fully know what the person sees when affected by Cradle. You might take it and see zombies while Ink might take it and see mannequins, or you'll see ghosts while I might see mutated creatures. Who fully knows what we see cause the truth can be a lie.
One minute into the video and had to l AVE a comment just to say this mission in my opinion was one of the best CoD missions ever. The whole vib and switch up from the usual. Loved it and have been telling everyone to play it!
This isn’t the first time they combined zombies with the campaign. In black ops 1 when you beat the campaign, it throughs you straight into the White House zombies. If you hadn’t played zombies yet, you would think that you were still in the campaign.
Emergence was fun challenging but fun and frustrating at times. I don’t play zombies and I don’t do multiplayer. I just do the campaign. It’s actually good that black ops six put a little bit of zombies in the campaign for those that don’t do the online play.
The zombies weren’t for no apparent reason. The cradle definitely is meant to cause that. At the end, when case inhales the cradle whilst killing harrow, she seemingly becomes a zombie with the way her eyes glow
The mission was sick. I played with headphones on and it was super immersive; the sound design was phenomenal. The mannequins were nuts. Your suggestions were good, but I didn’t mind the zombie aspect. Side note: I think this one mission was about as long as the entire MWIII campaign 😂
All the mind bending stuff was cool and maybe the mannequin moving weirdly in the beginning…but when the zombies started to come into play that’s when it just started to not feel like an og mission and should’ve only been kept in zombies…in my opinion.but I also agree at the end fighting other in the group or someone you can’t really identify or see there face(being case) because we don’t know Who is case.
The grappling hook, the confusion, and zombies was fun. It was the bosses that I hate. (The brute with the arm for a gun and the last boss after you get in the elevator)
Considering the events with Requiem during the 80s zombie outbreak, this should have been common knowledge that any of Dark Aether influence would affect the main stories, including Modern Warfare's.
It’s one of those missions that in retrospect was so cool and great fun but playing had you stressed. Could just be the fact I’m rubbish but at least two of those bosses nearly had me crashing out
100% the mannequins were a highlight of the campaign but the zombie fights in-between were a let down. Coming from someone who didn't recognise the re-used zombie assets because I don't play zombies all that much.
Emergence had me shivering in fear. I am scared of labs and mannequins. There were alot of mannequins and big eerie lab. I haven't felt so immersed and scared in a call of duty mission before.
Personally I liked the mission, I do agree the mannequins we're far more freaky you could hear them clanking behind you, but I also believe that the mannequins are supposed to symbolize all the scientists that were down there if you think about it they're actually trying to stop you which would correlate with what the staff would be trying to do during the events that took place during the outbreak
This mission was awesome and fun, especially with the music. I just came to learn that no matter what, you can't satisfy everyone. This mission was amazing
I loved the concept and the story of this mission, but gameplay-wise, absolutely hated it. Not because of the presence of zombies, but for the boss fights. I hate arena style boss fights, where i have to run around, shooting all my ammo into a barely killable boss, while tons of generic enemies are also attacking me. It's just frustrating for me. I could still accept the first boss fight, but I hated, that the mission forced me to do it four more times.
I really liked this Mission, i found it a bit hard with the HP of the Boss Zombies and the Amount of Ammo, but it was a nice new Mission For me my alltime Favorite Mission is Clear House from MW19, i really love the Atmosphere of this Mission
Its was a good surprise for the campaign to get some back story and the effects the chem weapon had. Frankly it would have been awesome if another mission led to the mass release of the gas in a urban city and full on chaos ensured. Personally because it boils down to another fetch these items quest it does not have replay-ability for me, its tedious.
Honestly in my mind the big reason people hated this mission, there's a lot of us who hated Black ops zombies. Then you guys get it crammed on your throat forcibly, I can see why it would leave a bad taste. From what I've seen though it's not that bad of a mission, and it's pretty obvious what's actually happening so it's not like they threw in random supernatural effects without warning.
Ink you nailed it I agree I like call of duty going away from military but if you want to play zombies then play zombies shouldn’t be forced in the campaign
From what I understand, the "Zombies" are just the people that were left in the facility exposed to cradle. I agree that it is reused assets and the boss zombies dont necessarily make sense, but the regular zombies we see everywhere make sense to me. But I do agree mannequins would have been better. Also Harrow says that both her and Case are immune to it, which is why they dont turn like the people left in the facility.
I feel like they should have used the amalgam instead of a Mangler not just because I hate manglers but it would have made more sense during the mannequin key card
I liked the mission I think it showed us how case snapped (because the cradle makes you hallucinate and see humans as monsters) and wreaked havoc on the workers. And instead of unarmed civilians Treyarch probably used mannequins and zombies to not have the same controversy as the No Russian mission that infinity ward dealt with.
This mission felt like Bioshock, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Call of Duty met together and created this mission. I loved every part of it. I'm not sure why it would've been the most hated. I guess it's why we can't have nice things because it's always the complainers ruining everything for everybody else.
I loved this mission, but there’s one thing that almost completely ruins it for me. Case secretly being under the control of the cradle the entire time is this big plot twist but it never really impacts the story at all for the rest of the campaign. It doesn’t do anything to affect case or get in the group’s way as they stopped pantheon. Case only tries to bring it up once in a dialogue with woods, doesn’t, and then no one ever finds out. Bo3 campaign was batshit insane and didn’t make sense when it got trippy, Bo6 was a much better story but it could’ve been so much more if they actually did something with this sub plot.
Actually the zombies are meant to represent the people killed by harrow and case as the “cradle” harrow talks to case throughout the mission as they were the ones who gassed the facility
The only thing I didn’t like about the mission is that it felt like after a point there were too many boss fights. Five felt like it jumped the shark, but three or four would’ve been the sweet spot for me. Otherwise near flawless mission for my experience.
I really like this mission, it really made me a the edge of my seat, playing it I was like I hate it, cuz I turned horror styled, but at the end of it, I loved it just because of that horror style
I had the EXACT same thought in terms of WHO were fighting in the mission. I absolutely loved the story of the mission but there’s a reason I don’t and never play zombies. I truly hate it. If they had used the mannequins as the primary combat throughout I would have ranked this as a 9/10 mission. But with the zombies it drops to a 7/10 at best for me, carried solely by the story
I hated those 2 missions and introducing horror into BO6 was decent try/something different. But I prefer horror to not be involved with the campaign. Open World Missions are okay to say the least. BO1 and BO Cold War mind thriller was good.
I can’t believe people didn’t like this mission. It’s unique, fun, scary, and does a great job of connecting the story with the Cradle which is an otherwise predictable and boring MacGuffin.
I loved this mission, but I do love horror game so I guess it checks out. I commend them for taking such a risk because they knew not everyone would vibe with it.
I hated this mission so much. The plot was interesting, as you learn about Case. I watched a youtube play-through and just focused on the female voice and the story she told, and I found that very interesting and mysterious. But the facility made little sense. It felt like being inside a shopping mall, not a biolab. And the bosses were unbelievably frustrating. While your points are valid, I don't feel they capture all our frustrations. It was just so bloody miserable. I couldn't even offer constructive feedback on how to improve the mission. Even the mysterious voice stuff, I can pick holes in that plot too. I love the black ops series. I replayed BO1-2 a week before this game came out. The mind bending story of Mason and Resnov is timeless. BO1 is my favorite COD game of all time, I can't believe nobody made a movie out of it. But the mystery is mostly kept to the exceptional cutscenes. Most of the gameplay is action related. That's how it should be. Black Ops Cold war started to frustrate me as it felt like it was becoming a puzzle game. And now with this game, it's probably 80% puzzle, 20% action (and most of the action was pretty lame and un-memorable).
they aren’t zombies in case’s case (pun intended) they were demons. it seems like he’s fighting inner trauma and the “inner demons” where he’s fighting against the “evil” side is a visualization of the trauma
I totally hated, but in a good way. I love the fact that this mission completely changes the pace of the campaign and turned it in a left 4 dead or Control scary kind of game. It was hard for me to complete due to the stress I felt, particularly in Veteran. But it was a lot of fun.
They could’ve made it like pure look around mission with the voices still talking to him as he went thru the facility seeing things that jog his memory a bit or sum
It was awesome, zombies arent really there, its just something Case sees that makes him go crazy. So I mean, just imagine Case running around shooting nothing in the facility, its really cool. Another thing, as a whole, I was actually able to play this mission twice, 2nd time being on Veteran, and actually still enjoy it, yet still haven't beaten mw3's campaign.
I really loved this mission. Its eerie atmosphere, bloodcurdling silence and mystery really makes you wonder what exactly happened here and specifically to Case. Raven tried to make a stand out mission so that even after playing the game you’ll remember this one for this mission and personally they did just that.

I think the problem is that you have two studios who have their own vision of Call of Duty;
Infinity Ward: Modern/ grounded warfare.
Treyarch: Black Ops espionage/mind thriller (for those who don't get it, a lot of emphasis on their campaigns is focused on how people are being brainwashed or human psychology) not counting WaW
Activision forcing the two studios to merge their series into one universe was a bad idea because you have two different studio visions conflicting with one another.

In this mission, people either didn't understand the zombies were hallucinations or just don't like zombies being part of the camapign as a whole.
Facts. It even said that one of the symptoms of The Cradle was hallucinations.
I am the latter. Easter eggs here and there i think are pretty cool, but having a whole mission filled with zombies annoyed me. If i want to play zombies, ill choose the zombies game mode.
@@reallydopegaming8229 that and how long the mission is. Its just the same thing 5 times.
The trippy theme of that mission is what makes me like it, its different that other missions ive played in COD
I can understand why people do bc some people don’t like horror I guess
It’s not scary if you thought the mannequins were scary you clearly haven’t played any of the Nuketown Easter eggs, which have been in the games for years or any of the world at war zombies maps considering they’re actually horrifying, especially verruckt
It's more so that people don't enjoy zombies actively coming into campaign outside of small easter eggs such as the thundegun in black ops or the zombies one in cold war. If you thought Emergence was scary, I'd highly suggest avoiding actual horror games.
And because it was repetitive.
Sure love it at first but make puzzle, fight recycled zombie boss and get a key 4 times?
@@bubba418exactly
Ik my english is Not the best but i Hope you may understand everything
i think harrow was the mole could be wrong but just a thought given the story so far
@@tapeunknown Harrow could be the mole, or maybe there was more than one mole involved in Panama.
@ before the release i thought it was adler but its basically false given the campaign but he could be rouge sometimes if that makes sense 😭
The mission literally is a demonstration of what the black ops series is! It was a good mission. Had me freaked out but was still good
I liked that mission.
Exactly
100%
During emergence the mannequins were actual mannequins.
the zombies were Pantheon soldiers that’s why they keep jumping in between being zombies and pantheon for a brief second, Cradle was causing Case to see them as zombies the bosses are the only part I can’t explain what they were supposed to be outside of the trip.
The entire mission is showing why everyone who was affected by cradle eventually started to act violent and psychotic, and to tell the player that case was the first person it was tested on and how it affected him.
People ask for change since they feel call of duty is the same every year and then they have the surprised pikachu face when it does change
Fr
That’s not it at all, crossing zombies over to the story is dumb
My favorite part of the mission was with the mannequins as the boss, where they moved when you weren’t looking. I was severely disappointed when the mannequins turned into a boss I already fought in this mission.10:55
I just straight up quit the campaign when I saw that I was gonna have to deal with zombies.
Loved the campaign, just didn’t like this mission because it was zombies and I’m not really a zombies player but I loved how treyach took risks and changed it up
I really liked this mission. But it made sense for them to use zombies because the cradle turned people to have zombie like behaviour.
No, the cradle causes its victims to have vivid hallucinations.
@@EvanSolomonBergerNo, the video the crew found made clear that it turned people into a zombie like mode, Case alucinated because he was already tested with it, therefore, he was resistant to most of its effects, the zombies only appeared because he had to expell that feeling in some way
@@EvanSolomonBergeryes that's literally what he just fucking said💀
@@EvanSolomonBerger which make them act like zombies
@@ivanmartinez743Exactly
One more thing: the cradle is a hallucinogenic that causes severe mania and forces them to attack their victims. The victims are not zombies, but a hallucination of such.
I totally get that, I think that went a miss with the average cod fan though. The game conveyed that idea too subtly
I liked the mission. But how I see it is 2 different things could be happening:
1 when exploring the facilities and breathing in the cradle gas it's causing case to hallucinate the zombies in the abandoned place thinking your being attacked by them.
Completing that mission actually meant something for me in the end.
this mission was so hard
Yep
Yep
Agreed. With 5 boss fights it also felt neverending lol
Emergence was amazing. Having a mission to understand how Case backstory is great. Same in BOCW where we find out that Bell backstory was with the Red Door mission. This really reminded me of Control with the constant telephone ringing and the music to the boss battles.
I just hate that cause at the one hand i was shooting pantheon soldiers and suddenly i was fighting fucking zombies causing nightmares for me😂😂
I don’t like Emergence because it takes way too long. It overstays it’s welcome
I really enjoyed this mission it was a break from traditional cod missions and though it gave me a few jump scares and spooked me a little (played around midnight) it could have been designed to give a better understanding of how it fit in the overarching bo 6 narrative but overall I really enjoyed it
That's the point case is tripping out because of cradle so he is hallucinating seeing zombies that's the reason behind this mission honestly this was one of the best missions I've ever fucking played instant top five but nothing will ever compare to all ghillied up like what you said ink
this mission is def one of my favorites of all time. 25% just for 115 playing in the background (im a zombies player if you couldnt tell)
W
@@SpeedTexthen they were never meant to be a real Call of Duty fan that's just it
Emergence was cool, but it was boring.
But I only have two reasons why I don't like it:
Unacceptable, bunch of morons are disgraceful for hating on Black Ops 6 of COD Franchise, it's everybody problem, unforgivable.

I might sound crazy again:
For marketing purposes, it felt like an apologetic letter to the zombie community but at the same time bring them into playing the campaign.
This obsession with zombies kind of proves it's the only thing treyarch cares about, they can't do anything not related to zombies.
Really fun and interesting mission, only thing that gave me issues was trying to do it on veteran, really difficult when the normal zombies kill you in 2 hits and having to fight the bosses on top at the same time
Infinite warfare players when the they have to think in a campaign and there is more than one color in the game:
Except in Cold War, it was already established before the 80s and Omega Group would have to be part of the Cradle Program when it was only Case.
i like the mission and the story building by each wing with those phone calls. Those zombies and the monster was a thrill. great turn up on the story
Some interesting facts about emergence-
1. If u melee a zombie to death without a melee weapon (like the axe) the zombies turn into armored soldiers as they die.
2. This mission references a water chamber, and if Case is in fact a super soldier he could breathe under water longer than normal and probably hints at Case living in the end
I loved the mission totally. I do appreciate your speculation of changing the assets to fit more of the storyline. I certainly agree with you Ink!
I didn’t know that two of those keycard levels required you to vault up upstairs. I had zero idea and it took me an hour to figure out what to do next
This mission reminds me of nightmare mode from black ops 3 campaign it is awesome🔥
I think it really adds to the cradle and the pantheons goal to make it violent but its really out there and kinda random
This campaign was awesome also because it made me think of veterans that have ptsd and became fearful because of their past
I loved this mission, haven’t met anyone who didn’t like it. Nice change of pace, unique, and memorable.
I really liked this Mission, i found it a bit hard with the HP of the Boss Zombies and the Amount of Ammo, but it was a nice new Mission
For me my alltime Favorite Mission is Clear House from MW19, i really love the Atmosphere of this Mission
This mission was awesome. I’m happy they added zombies to the campaign. Best campaign we’ve had in a long time
This mission was rlly good but I hated this campaign I’m incredibly against the new open world concept
Ink you nailed it I agree I like call of duty going away from military but if you want to play zombies then play zombies shouldn’t be forced in the campaign
The funny thing is about this is everyone forgets how zombies was introduced in black ops one at the end of the campaign and just like in black ops 3
Some people like it some people hate it personally I didn’t mind it and I actually found it cool
Great Video !!! - Love the final result!
I'm willing to say Remedy would have a case in court with how similar that mission was to Control. That being said I loved the mission.
The campaign missions in BO6 were different but innovative
