- Resolve this issue with the following message displaying when you hover the mouse over the Sound icon in the taskbar:
No Audio Output Device is installed.

I tried this earlier, but I had 3 different audio drivers to choose from. The first one I chose didn't do the trick, but after watching your video, I tried a different one and it worked. I also tried all the other "solutions" before this, all that you mentioned, with no luck. But this worked. Thank you!

hello...my dell vostro has this problem and i cant fix using this method, sometimes the audio device works but when i shut it down and power it on again the same problem comes back.i don't know if their if its the problem with the BIOS that brings the problem because my laptop also takes too long to open BIOS which has a blinking cursor but it boots up after about 10-15minutes...PLEASE HELP!

For some reason this happens to me ither when I do somthing it Doesent like on Netflix or youtube or i think when i unplug my headphones idk why but it uninstall them bc there always gone and every time I happen to get it fixed its bc of somthing different every time once all i had to do was restart it and it was fine then I had to mute and unmute then i just let it sit over night on of course and it was fixed idk y but its never the same way to fix it please help

I've tried and I have a problem. I do all the processes until the restart. after the laptop turns on, the auto run audio driver without me clicking the setup. when I close, maybe 10 minutes of sound can come out of the speaker then back to "audio no Outup Device is installed". I repeat the steps you gave and restart the laptop. when the laptop turns on and the audio driver appears without me clicking the setup, then I try to install it and it asks to restart. when the laptop turns on the audio becomes "no audio outup device is installed" again. do you have other solutions or what should i do?

at the end of the video after you installed the driver, the volume still had the red x. and then tou opened and closed a setting for the volume and you stopped the recording, and when you started the recording again it was fixed. what did you do to fix it?
Hi there thanks for your query is your system working fine now or still you are in the same position the basic thing to do just install the required driver and restart your system. Actually when I have to pause my recording that means I am going to restart my system bcz in that case my recording will automatically stop and I cant record shutdown and logon process.

Wow this actually worked for my computer I went onto Dell.com and went into updates and clicked audio update and my No audio output device installed was gone. This is the only video that worked for my computer. Can you believe I called dell to help me fix the issue and they told me my computer warranty was up and I should pay for there service!!! I said I'm not paying for you to fix my volume loll TH-cam can fix anything I swear loll
