Hey Matt, thanks for checking out the channel. I agree I really like this bike a lot also, it turned out really cool. I bought one brand new back in 1985, when I was 21 years old. I wanted to do this to that bike back then, but I was fresh out of high school and did not have the skill set that I have now. So when I got the opportunity to pick up this Virago, I got it with the intention of doing what I wished I could have done to the first one I had. Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you like it as much as I do. If you haven't already I invite you to check out the rest of the videos on the channel, and as always ride safe man, and live life Behind Bars.

Thanks for posting looks badass! Was looking in to swapping the bars on my first bike (95 virago 750) I went with the 8” mini apes and was really hoping everything would reach!

Nice work buddy, great attention to detail, she looks very elegant. I'm in the process of bobbering-up my 1996 xv750. I'm always looking for ideas. I think the spoked wheels look so much better on the Virago.

I got 2 1981 and want to lower, but mine have the air shock . If you put air in it's so tall it will fall over.
