RETIRED DANCER'S REACTION+REVIEW: DREAMCATCHER's SuA/Jiu/Yoohyeon "Copycat+Taki Taki"!

- WTF DOES “OG KPOP STAN" EVEN MEAN?!
Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓
I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since.
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis and seizures; I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with the genre. Luckily, I'm in remission now! Doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups of I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible.
When I made this TH-cam name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so hence the cringe-worthy title, OG KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

Dreamcatcher (Siyeon) (Dami) - ‘Shadow’ and ‘Shadow’ (slow ver.). An OST for the show “Dark Hole”. Both videos are on Dreamcatcher official yt channel.
SuA is such a good choreographer. You should definitely check out her and CLC Seungyeon's Tadow choreo. SuA choreographed the first standing part, Seungyeon choreographed the floor work and they came up with the last part together

DC keeps the content flowing. Not dancing, but the OST "Shadow" with Siyeon and Dami just came out. You should watch both the normal and slow version and maybe have tissues handy. For dancing, Sua's and Seungyeon's Tadow cover and Sua's Maria cover will make you choke in more ways than one.
Jiu as bias and Yoohyeon as wrecker? Taste!
Also Sua really did such a great job with these choreos and really used Jiu and Yooh's strengths to their advantage.
Sua is a monster. She is an all package. She is the ACE. She is just PERFECTION. She is bias wrecking me all the time.
SuA's taki² choreography is my favourite taki² chores so far.
Siyeon & Dami just dropped an Kdrama OST called Shadow. If you decide to react to it, it's highly recommended to react to both the original and slow version.
Ooh, you know what you might like, if you haven’t seen it yet, the duet with Sua & Seungyeon to “Tadow”.
People forget that JiU is in the dance line until she slays them. 😂 I hope we get more of dancer JiU in the future because she has such a bright presence and has a great mix of grace and skill. The best part about Taki Taki is that they have performed it live so it's not just something they learned for an MV.
What people truly forget is that Yoohyeon isn’t part of the dance line, and that Dami’s the other lead dancer.

I'm offended Yoohyeon isn't officially considered in the dance line. She has improved so much and she's such a good dancer. She proved it with Taki Taki and especially since Odd Eye imo.
These are my favourite dances clips, along with the recent Tadow. Tadow's only problem is that it's so short. UGH you'd love it I think
@@insomniasmultistan3837 she was literally called a tree for being stiff lol that's why she wasn't "always" in it. she's worked very hard and improved A LOT but there's no need to change her position since she hasn't taken on a different role unlike gah who now appears as a lead rapper instead of sub-vocal.

Yay another Dreamcatcher reaction! I love when they do dance covers. I hope you could have time for Sua and Suengyeon’s Tadow cover also far fetched but when they were in Minx they did a cover of Ikons rhythm ta. I loved it cause it’s a hip hop song and the girls killed it! They pull off any genre!

Sua has the perfect body for power choreo, and she's been doing it since they were Minx. You have to watch their live performances as Minx to see the songs where Sua really shows off. The two MV's they made don't have choreo like that.
