- SUP Y'ALL?! Now I can see why InSomnias keep calling the girls chaotic messes... because they ARE.🤪 And I am sooo here for it! I'm starting to think my bias (so far, could change...) is JiU. She's sooo QUIRKY and witty.😁 This was a GREAT and informative guide! I'm more confident in getting to know them more now, and the pronunciations of their names. I may react to their Dodging Disbandment video or I may just watch it on my own. We'll see!

PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since.
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

That weird Deja Vu part of Siyeon was because she was asked to do Deja Vu in several different styles, one was "as a robot". I always find it funny that she is looking up the lyrics between "Oh Deja Vu" and "Oh Deja Vu". 😉

And yes, DorkCatcher keeps going strong. The best news though is that Handong is back! She landed in Korea yesterday and she's doing her self-quarantine, so they will be ot7 again *very* soon!
The dance clip in Jiu's part is her, Sua, and Yoohyeon doing Sua's choreography of Taki Taki. (Fair warning from an old Insomnia... if you see the words 'choreography by Sua' immediately pause the video and go get a glass of water because you *will* be thirsty by the end of it.) She's the charismatic rabbit leader.
Sua's opening clip is her cover of Billie Eilish's Copycat. We call her the Queen, but for emojis she's represented by an elephant because she loves elephants. She and Dami originally did the Havana cover, but they've done it with all 7 members too. I'm also kinda low-key disappointed that they didn't add in Sua's iconic vlog from Poland, or a truly epic Cider cover.
Siyeon is the wolf of Dreamcatcher (it's how she introduces herself), mostly from her 'howl's when she's hitting those high notes. And yes, Siyeon did a rock cover of Exo's Overdose. Her opening clip is her solo song called Paradise. Siyeon is crackhead #1. Yes, this is normally what they're like.
'is that Kyuhyun??' Yes, yes it is. She was singing the Chinese version of At Gwanghwamun in front of Cho Kyu himself and he was so happy, they even had a little conversation in Chinese lol.
Yoohyeon is one of those people that like to learn languages - she self taught herself English and Mandarin (though Handong was helping her at the same time as Yoohyeon was helping Dongie with her Korean)
Dami's opening clip is her self-written and composed song called Once Upon a Time, and yes that was their Bangx3 cover. Dami looks quiet - is possibly one of the most chaotic.
Yes, Gahyeon is the one with the pink hair in Boca. Also don't let her appearance fool you - this child is *strong* she's easily able to pick people up and cart them around. It's kind of a debate as to who's the actual shortest in DC - Sua or Gahyeon. Also in the Break the Wall self-made MV you'll see Siyeon and Gahyeon doing little 'howls' at a part - Gahyeon's the fox.
Oh that last clip? It wasn't just *close* lol you'll have to see it for it yourself.
you'll love dodging disbandment and it will probably make you mad. I've always thought the worry about spoilers was overdone. If you posted a reaction to something like Abracadbra I'm sure it would be a reaction well worth watching.

@@dannyinsomnia7764 sometimes it's just a problem with TH-cam and he shows that even if the channel never clicked that. After a few hours it will show the notifications like it did before. If you use TH-cam on your phone it helps if you restart the app.

Nice reaction, my bias is Jiu, but i love all of them. The unnie line (Jiu, Sua and Siyeon) are crazy, weird, funny and adorable.
Insomnicsy’s video series on each member and the entire group is a good watch if you wanna see more of their personalities. Their videos in general are great to watch during some downtime and is usually the first to compile highlights of and translate their latest vlive streams too

I became an InSomnia in Piri era, so I've been around for a while, but I still get (pleasantly) surprised at how they really are... y'know, like that 😂. I'm a fan of lots of groups, but they're the first ones since 2NE1 to make me really fall in love with them and their music. The way they are so genuine and care about each other is really heartwarming and refreshing. And I'm not even get into the way they're so loving and grateful towards us, or I'll be here for a week 😂😂. Aaaanyways, I've enjoyed this video a lot, I'm looking forward to the next ones!

I am curious what next reaction about Dreamcatcher and look forward to reacts some dance video of them (after your Dreamcatcher schedule). Especially the Deja Vu dance video, it was awesome since that choreography had much of domino effect and many things i can't describe it. But i think you will enjoy it because you was a dancer😂? For your info, each mem(e)ber had their favorite animal added near their names which is also used to talk about them in videos/comments. So we have JiU Bunny, SuA Elephant (but often she is represented by a chick/chicken), Siyeon Wolf (hence the growl), Handong Kitty (she also has a cat in China), Yoohyeon Doggie (I'm sure your dog knew she is a dog lover!), Dami Panda (she is sometimes called Pandami and represented by an owl because she imitates it) and Gahyeon Fox.
SuA used to be the lead rapper in MINX and kept this role when they redebuted as Dreamcatcher. But she did not rap much in main tracks (she wrecked us all in "Good Night" the part you love). She recently said she did not like the way she rapped and focus on singing. Gahyeon is taking the Lead Rapper role nowadays. 🎵
Yes Handong is in South Korea at the moment but she still has to be in quarantine for a couple of weeks. And indeed it was Kyuhyun of SuJu!! 😄 I knew you will recognize him!! Handong was singing one of his solo song (Chinese version) during a show he was the MC. Also the video where she was thinking her lines was during a fanmeet where she revealed she translated some of their songs in Chinese and was then asked to sing. 😍

That growl was Siyeon failing adorably at her introduction 😂 she often introduces herself as DC's main vocalist and wolf, and then howls/growls,but she just as often gets shy or has a laughing fit in the middle of it, and the results are always very funny and cute 💖

I'm not as old as you in the fandom but started around 2012 and we have the same sentiment, Dreamcatcher is one of those unique kpop groups in terms of sound and concept.

Hiii! Putting this here because I see a lot of people skipping over their more obscure B-sides. After checking out their more popular B-sides (probably Black or White, Red Sun, every song from Lose Myself, etc), I would suggest just going back and listening to their albums one by one, you won't regret it!
