Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓
I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since.
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis and seizures; I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with the genre. Luckily, I'm in remission now! Doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups of I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible.
When I made this TH-cam name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so hence the cringe-worthy title, OG KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

There's a performance clip of Dreamcatcher doing Deja Vu which I think you will love. It's here th-cam.com/video/BuNrBWQwmgA/w-d-xo.html It's the best performance clip I've see of any group because the camera, rather than obscuring parts of the choreo actually allows you to see angles and pictures that would be invisible unless you were in the room and standing in the exact right spot. The camera person should have got a raise for giving the feeling of being there on the stage with Dreamcatcher.

(I'd point out, for example, that Stray Kids' Felix is Korean-Australian, with fully-Korean parents, but he barely spoke a _word_ of Korean before moving there.)
