Tent pegs? Screw that! ; ) Great idea. The funny thing is, I found your video by google, after I saw some very expensive screw Tent pegs marketed to Coarse Fishermen here in the UK. When I looked at them a bit closer I could see they were very clearly just decking screws with a plastic T handle injection molded over the head. Fifty quid for a dozen. Someone is laughing their backside off all the way to the bank. So I came online to see who was doing it the DIY way. Happy Camping. :)
I just saw a video of some plastic orange screw in tent stake. 25 bucks for two. That should be a crime. I like your idea. Should last a lifetime. Too many spendy do dads are being sold. As humans we love our stuff. LOL
My plumber buddy with expensive red tools makes fun of my ryobi kit... some us don't bleed money & like to fix & build--to innovate--& still be able to eat. Not a ryobi rep, but they served me ok as they seem to here
Was pricing ice screws at the local camping retailer for a tarp setup for 0°, 8k', 100+mph winds/heavy (2'+/day), & realized I can diy 50 pegs for the price of one... thanks for your help & thoughts. Ryobi boys on it
Brilliant idea
Thank you! Cheers!
