Super Bowl XXIV - "The Super Bowl Show" and Player Introductions (no commercials)

  • The stuff that was on before the Super Bowl itself started: mostly interviews and stories of people attending the game (like the guys that went with no tickets or even hotel reservations), the athletes themselves, and the like. I included the Player Introductions segment since that felt appropriate with the pre-game stuff; the National Anthem and coin toss I would consider part of the game. I didn't include the commercials because I would think people would want to see them separately (but there are like two or so quick little spots advertising the news; it felt awkward to cut them out and upload them on their own).
There was a short segment in the middle that used a Beatles song, so to keep the video public, I had to mute it for those several seconds.

Thanks for posting this. Big broncos fan. I remember watching this game as a 12 year old eating Burger King. At half time, down 27-3 i was telling my family that the broncos was going to come back and win. That didn’t happen obvious. But still great memories.

You're truly a hardcore fan for believing that!! It was basically Elway & almost nobody else. That's hard to overcome when you don't have the pieces around you to execute.

@@wilnerolivier7971 I agree. From 83-95, John Elway was undermanned. Only when Mike Shanahan came back after winning with the 49ers. Did Elway have a supporting cast.

@@frankk.7761 Elway's struggles with a lack of supporting cast is somewhat reminiscent of a young Michael Jordan in the '80s!! Jordan like Elway try to do too much with less talent around him & even though it was good enough to be in the conversation to be a contender, it wasn't enough to get past the Bad Boys. It was only once the Bulls hired Phil Jackson & with a better cast including a maturing Scottie Pippen complementing him is when the Bulls took off. That's what happened with the Broncos once Shanahan took over allowing Elway to retire as a winner instead of a failure who couldn't get it done.

Only game worse than Super Bowl XLVIII and I am a Seahawks fan. Both Seattle and Frisco completely destroyed their opponents to the point the games were over at Halftime. Funny the losers in both were the Denver Broncos.

Denver must've had no chance going into this game, based on the annoyed tone of Bowlen at the beginning of the show and the banner slight he discussed.

Do you plan on digitizing the Steelers vs Rams CED?

I have it, but never sat down to watch it. I don't know if there's anything unique on there that's worth the effort of digitizing.
