Still remember watching my third older Brother always have trouble in few bosses. Knowing this game was not great than first third game but still fun when unlocking everything. Cheat codes and secrets was fun part. One thing I can’t hate this game was OST because it was too damn awesome and beautiful knowing Capcom sure make great music in their video game. Remembering very first time playing it when boss fight with Tenkai than his theme song play, me, my second and third older brother like “holy shit that Samanosuke theme song” but why that was his main theme song until later on story that understandable also go memories lane in one stage from Onimusha 3 too.
This franchise had recently became my new favorite, took me awhile to find this game but finally played it so to finish the series. I always loves the fact that the game lore was built on top of real history, the characters were even more unique than any previous title. However I felt like the gameplay were a bit repetitive since they ditched part of exploring & puzzle solving in favor for more combat. Also the stages were a bit blend compare to onimusha 2 & 3. Nevertheless I'm glad that I own these masterpieces.
The first 3 titles had a LOT of Resident Evil in them but I loved them. 4 was awesome especially for the Dark Realms. Wanna be a badass? Go through all 5 100 floors deep! Even as over powered as you could get that was challenging.
Nice run in the emulator (Due to this having an image error even with the F9 fix at some point so ya played it there right), liked how you did not let the boss from the 3rd game do anything. Pretty funny how this game is still playabe in the emulator like Galaxy Angel but not the Jp version which can only be played on the actual ps3 and ps2.
The graphics look so great! Please tell me what settings you used? And did you have the same problem when 2D screens pop up? Like the skill enhancement screen and the title screen, where the game would look glitchy. :-: Plz respond, I really want to play this game with advanced graphics
I raged quit fighting Luis, can never figure out the insta kill clock. I remember looking up faq you need to whack him a lot but that never worked for me. Unfortunate because I do like the story so far.
My gripe with this game is that for some absurd reasons, the ingame graphics and details doesnt look great, Onimusha 3 never looked bad compared to this, the colors are just overly strong and contrasting. The giant Hideyoshi mech in the fmv intro looked totally different in the first boss fight
This wasn’t as good as the first 3 games. Didn’t really care for the main character of this title. It was a double disc tho which made the game longer. That was a good thing. But the overall story didn’t have that dark feel to it. Too much fighting in broad daylight. That could’ve played with the weather and atmosphere more.

Hardest Battle for me. It's all about going into it overpowered and mopping the floor with him before he can use those bomb traps.
