I recently received my Classics 2019 DVD. The recording of Amira's performance of Sound of Music Medley is far superior on the DVD to that which is on TH-cam (which is also great, thanks Gsacni). I am so glad that I made the purchase of the DVD from Gelukskinders, Amira's charitable foundation.
The DVD will be superior. Remember that the DVD format can not be copied straight onto TH-cam. The file first has to be converted to one of the formats which TH-cam will accept. The superior two formats for TH-cam are mp4 and AVI, and this particular post was done with mp4, and although the quality is reasonable, one has to keep in mind that both the video and audio are compressed in the conversion process. The audio comes out as high quality mp3, which of course is a far cry from the DVD linear PCM format, which is uncompressed. Therefore these TH-cam posts should always only serve as a teaser to persuade quality minded fans to either purchase the DVD, or to pay for the true HD quality online streams.
A thought that won`t go away. A classic song. Your Love or Plaisir Amour followed by an opera aria say adio del passata -- THEN THE SHOW STOPPER -- a waltz on stage to Edelwiess singing it at the same time. This would be great at Maastrict.

I actually had to listen to this a couple times to get the true appreciation, The 1st time I heard it I wasn't getting the full effect of amira As in some other songs, But I listen to it a second time and a 3rd time and it hit me it's as beautiful as any of her other songs, She is a beautiful person inside and out I would love to see her in concert
