And he carried these ideas forward for dozens and dozens of songs, guaranteeing success to other artists too. Lol at 55:03 he accidentally transposed the next song into the previous songs key! Amazing because he took relative pitch and moved his hand out of its usual position to match the key he was in instead of scrapping it and using the next songs opening riff to establish the new key...it was an educated mistake lol

I love this but, I noticed something as I'm a musician myself, I think the horn players are actually just punching in and out on the songs because their fingers aren't even moving on the instruments when they're supposedly playing multiple notes. Since Chic's music was so complex with the arrangements I wouldn't be surprised if the horns are tracks in their live performances.
