If so, this simple DIY project is perfect for you! With fabric fused on both sides, it creates a sleek and professional finish. Both the stabilizer and adhesive are machine washable on warm and tumble dry on low. Also drycleanable. I just give it another press before using.
Another brilliant tutorial -- thank you! I don't have a preference; I own both kinds. Actually, I tend to layer them. For example, for Christmas I put down a stiff (solid-colored: red, green, or gold) mat and then put a neutral-colored lace mat on top. I love how the color peeks through. I also enjoy my quilted, decorative mats.
Wow, nice job, I can tell you're a pro at doing those. There are a lot of steps in those projects requiring such precision. With not much of a margin for error. 😊 they are truly nice projects but I probably wouldnt want to try doing them myself. The placemats would be especially pretty to use during the holidays! Great job!
Thrilled with the link to the presser feet. I have this machine and didn't know I could use these as the 2010Q is not listed under compatible machines. Thank you. Ordering today!
Wow, that's brilliant, I thought until I started thinking about placemats get really dirty and have to be washed often. Could you give us some guidance on how to wash them. Do they even hold up to frequent washings. Some stabilizers aren't up to par, is this one. Anyway thanks for the vid, I'm definitely going to try your corner method!😊
As I am still new to sewing , can these be washed and dried using standard machines? I love all of your tutorials. Very easy to follow and informative. Thank you
