Managing chronic pain and illness is difficult on the best of days, but when you find yourself facing these challenges within a relationship, it often makes things even harder. Not only are you having to manage your symptoms, but your partner is also having to learn and adjust as well. This can result in feelings of guilt, fear, resentment, and uncertainty for both parties. Kira Lynne, a clinical counselor and someone who has lived with chronic pain and illness for many years, shares information and skills to help you support your relationship in these difficult times.

You know im listening to the communication part, and anytime I I would let partner know that im not feeling well , she would accuse me of screwing around with someone else and that i dont love her and im a piece of trash all because I canceled any plans due to illness. I was diagnosed with GPA in 2019 .and it makes me sick when i would just give in and go out and do things with her even though the pain is killing me. Was I wrong for breaking it off with her ??? I dont think so because she constantly stressed me about things she would make up in her head and then believe it and accuse me of cheating on her . Feedback, please 🙏
I think you have answered your own question. The relationship was not good for your physical or mental health and did not seem like it was a healthy relationship for either of you. I think you might find Kira's webinar on dating with chronic illness helpful-not because I am suggesting you need to start dating, but because she addresses many of the questions you asked in your comment. th-cam.com/video/OJYGkMxcbFQ/w-d-xo.html
