You will need to find the part number, I have used the website:

Part number for washer (Gasket ring) for my engine (N47) is 13 53 2 247 156

Tip with the injector puller, put a closed ring spanner on the shaft and use it as a lever to get more force on the slide hammer. Worked for me as one was stuck.
The best way I removed injectors- loosen the 2 bolts on injectors and switch engine on. The compression of the engine pushes them out. If you get one stuck- take the car for a good drive and spray WD40 round it

Are those seals symetric? Meaning if they can go up-face or down-face indiferentely. Nice vid

Do you know if there is 2 o-rings shall be installed?
I am not sure about that, but I got those on my n47. I also used ceramic paste, just to make life easier next time when you want to remove it.
@@Lotonenko each fuel injector should have only one, no more as it will raise fuel injector and may cause more leakage

One mechanic said that I should change rocker cover + gasket as I have oil leak from the top. Can you tell if I can just change gasket or is it important to change rocker cover as well? I am thinking that changing gasket can solve problem. What is your suggestion?

Did you get an error message that alluded you to the leakage issue, or did you just discover it due to getting fumes coming into the cabin for example and decided to check the injectors as a possible cause?
How much roughly would a job like this costs, I have an airleak on my second injector on my 520d and needs new washer but dont feel comfortable doing it myself
Hi @Andy N, quick question about how to install properly this metal washers? We need to put them on the fuel injector and then put the injector with this washer inside the chamber? If I understand you correctly of course. And what exactly is that copper? It is some kind of grease?

Good video, nice description of the tools too. Was there a cover gasket to replace on that engine? I'm just about to do my f45 with B47 engine, its pumped 300ml of deisel into the engine oil 😞 (& follow it up with sn oil & filter change)
Quick question as I'm clueless. How would it pump diesel into the oil and what do you look for? Thanks in advance.
@@BlamBlam80 there's a little copper washer the injector sits on to make a seal. If this fails diesel can be pushed past it when the piston compresses the gas in the cylinder. You can get oil tested & you can put a UV dye in the fuel to help find leaks. For the cost of the washers I just did it. I don't know if this is rare in cars.

No you dont need to code, as long as you did not replaced any of the fuel injectors.
I sent my 320D to a workshop recently to fix some oil leaks around the gasket and intakes. My fuel injectors never had an issue but they had to take them out to clean the existing oil leaks. When they took out the fuel injectors the washer was stuck just like yours. But, while they tried to take it out they scratched the threads and now the fuel injector isn't able to fit in properly. Hence, the fuel injectors are leaking. What is the best way to fix this??
Oaahh, they should use tool to remove washers, something like the one that I used. If they have damaged the fuel injector chamber then I dont think there is not much that you can do. Only other thing that came to my head is that fuel injectors have own rubber orings, maybe is is just an oring that needs to be replaced? If not then sadly it looks like head cylinder may need to be rebuild if possible or ask question on one of BMW forums. But as mechanics did this they are the one responsible and they should arrange head cylinder replacement. Sorry that I cannot give more advice. Check the rubber orings on the fuel injectors maybe it is just that.
I checked with my local mechanic and he told me that if you had leakage before you went to workshop and have been driving with it for long time then it is possible that end of fuel injector chamber could burnout, when mechanics removed the washer then it exposed the burned out part of the chamber. But again it is just guessing. He agreed that fuel injector oring or wrong new washers used are the only other reasons that we can come up with.
@@AndyN1 thanks for taking the time to get back to me on this. I sent it back to the mechanic and what they did was seal the injectors into the chamber. So far it works fine. As this is a quick fix for now, I'm just worried that there will be more problems in the long run 😕
Hi ken. I have the same car 320d 2013 N47 model i also changed the tappet gasket and oil housing filter gasket because they were causing oil leaks. My injectors were just working fine but afterwards it is now leaking the fourth/last injector and tried to put silicone around it but still its not enough. So i saw your post and i realised somehow you managed to get the leakage fixed. Can i please know what sealer did your mechanic used to stop the injector leakage and really stressed right now.
@@tynaishe Hi there. You need to repalce washers on each fuel injector, this should be all. If you still got leakage then it may mean that the injector chamber is burned out or your rocker gasket is damaged.
