There are a lot of asmr videos on TH-cam. More often than not, they lack emotion and character. You can tell they’re reading from a script of their voice is flat and lifeless. Some you can tell they’re not putting in that much effort.
Nora, you are the complete opposite! Your ability to make your characters sound like actual people is a skill that you should be so proud of. I get so invested in your audios and the fact that they’re long and not 6 minute talk then out of nowhere kiss audios, which I feel has become so common, deserves to be recognized so much!

@@NoraASMR I have and I do! I wasn’t trying to discredit any of them. I know how difficult voice acting is first hand. Learning how to manipulate your voice and learn different vocal techniques to get that balance in the audio and figure out the tone for the setting takes a lot.
Not to mention all the other little audio details like the shuffling of clothes you add signifying that the listener is moving. Learning how to blend those sound bites smoothly with your voice lines is a difficult process.
All of their hard work should be acknowledged equally but you have a real skill for it and should be more popular!

You do such an incredible job not sounding scripted and sounding so natural, it’s so immersive and realistic and I can FULLY insert myself into the scenario with all the extra sound effects. the character's entrance was great, and for the first 10 minutes in I was in a state where I kind of wanted to laugh out loud while punching Nora's face because he was just so silly and it was so fun to hear, and then! comes the teasing game parts and oh boy, I cannot hold myself for not laughing out loud for real! but that part with the clock ticking each time Nora said something, it makes me hold my breath in anticipation of whatever bomb he tried to drop to us as the listener (such a great effect! I love it!) but then, but then, he proceed to become flustered himself and I was like? "what?! you're the who started this?!" lmao
oh! oh! and that last part where we, as the listener, reciprocated his feeling and Nora goes "huh..." then going "huh?" and then "HUH?!" I genuinely laugh at how endearing that tone of voice! it was such, such a delightful experience.
