Good scramble really. The cross is incredibly easy. Would probably have been a PB if I knew more PLL and OLL cases.

Let's redefine the time it takes to solve a cube. Perhaps we can call it a Zemdeg lol (1 zemdeg = 4.36 seconds) lol. Great job with the video, it was very entertaining to watch. Btw it took me 7 of his solves to complete one of mine, so yeah, I'm kinda slow haha.

I'm developing my own method which solves a double cross (cross on yellow and white faces) followed by the corners and lastly solving the E slice. What're you guys' opinions on this? I'll also likely post this in the Twisty Puzzles forum. I already have most of the basic algorithms (thanks to Cube Explorer) and can get sub-2 minute times while reading the algorithms off of the screen (I haven't them memorized yet). My CFOP solve is around 3-4 minutes (I've only done 4 solves with it), my Beginner's solve is about 40-45 seconds, and my Roux solve is about 45-55 seconds.
EDIT: My method sucks (and so does my Roux solve) so I've moved to Petrus.
Isn't that basically just a less efficient roux? I mean, it sounds interesting, but roux provides a pretty simple method with a lot of ways to solve the cube.
PrestoCuber The method is inspired by a few different methods… Beginner's provided the double cross idea, Roux provided the E/M slice movement style, and Adam's provided the idea of solving corners separately from the edges.
It isn't quite like Roux as the final step of Roux involves orientation then permutation of the M slice, my method does it in one go.

IAmAPerson620 What beginner's did you use? Double cross is so annoying. I used CFOP beginners with cross, corners, middle layer, PLL, then OLL. The double cross itself is frustrating, especially without algs. Have you tried your method yet? i ran into a couple kinks. getting all the corners having both crosses solved is INCREDIBLY frustrating and inneficient. E/M slicing is impossible without affecting the cross somewhat and I though roux M/U Solving? Your method literally is not possible the way your describing it.
PrestoCuber I've solved my cube with my method *a lot*, but I also have a list of algorithms to be used. I might make a video or something of it. However, each person has their own solving style. I can't do CFOP for the life of me. It's very difficult to describe with words my method.
IAmAPerson620 How long did you even try CFOP? Your method seems extremely inefficient and overly complicated. It's basically just roux except yours requires a double cross, making it even harder and more complicated. CFOP takes a while to get used to. It's much easier ot get a grasp on if you start with beginners CFOP, which is actually more like CFPO

Actually, nothing special about that, dude. I used a rubik's brand and within a month my pb was 25.95seconds. I have currently been speedcubing for 2 months and my pb is 11.67 seconds so yeah. However I do use a speedcube now (Moyu Aolong v2)
