I understand what he is saying, and I think it sound sane and is a middle ground approach but the problem is how divide this country is in the beginning one side painted the other as evil people, can you blame the other for now doing it too?… another problem is how he said he wants you to work off your student loan debts but when Dems wanted to put work requirements on expanded CTC to get him on then he said something about raising debt so he grifts too often!

I’m surprised to say you want him to be more conservative. I hear from several people that he has been way too conservative. That he eliminates several very popular laws across the United States, including even things that Republicans agree with. Like paid family leave for three months after you have a child. He would not let that come to the floor. Other things too.
So what would be some keyways you think he should be more conservative?

UT Senator Romney (R) & WV Senator Manchin (D) both come from deep MAGA territory. in 2020 West Virginia voted approx. 69% MAGA/Trump. in 2020 Utah voted approx. 59% MAGA/Trump. Both Manchin & Romney are saying the same exact thing; political polarization and extremism, lack of bipartisanship, awful rhetoric. Just interesting to see the Republican states have their Senators resign because of the extremism and polarization that has gripped both chambers, but particularly the MAGA movement.

@@4greendeep6 the "new" Republican party under Trump has redefined what it means to be a conservative. I used to be a conservative years back in the late 2000s, but MAGA embodies nothing the conservatives stood for 15-20 years ago. It's way too crazy now, I literally can't even talk about the election without people getting up in arms. Utah is not “deep MAGA territory.” A large portion of us Utahns voted for Evan McMullin. Our state was at best tepidly for Trump. 59 percent is woeful for a Republican in a red state. Also, neither person you mentioned is resigning. They are retiring, which isn’t the same thing.

He can’t decide what party or people he represents…..but thinks we should put him in charge of everything? Endorse Christie. We need a federal prosecutor to lead the Republican Party in 2024. Not a man who isn’t sure if he is democratic, independent, or republican? Your not special Manchen. We are all struggling to understand who we can trust.
