Witness societal shifts, including newfound rights for women such as driving and participation in public sports, set against a backdrop of traditional religious values and conservative opposition. Explore controversies surrounding leadership, from dissent crackdowns to the international response following the tragic death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. News coverage makes feel like Saudi is shedding the Islamic/conservative aspect of the daily lives but when I visited it’s just a balanced way to make a specific location for the “liberal” entertainment while still retaining their religious identity.

    Saudi Arabia is now a religiously moderate country that follows the Quran and Sunnah and is not extremist. We have eliminated the extremist awakening ideas that were spread by extremist scholars. We, as Saudis, are proud of our country changing for the better, and religious moderation and centrism are the best solution to spread the correct, tolerant, and moderate values of Islam. I have no problem with saudi arabia with whatever they do with their money so long as it does not harm others .For example migrant workers from south east asia are under paid overworked and exploited and not to mention the war they waged on yemen where thousands of innocent people were killed .You attack rebel groups no problem but if you attack innocent civilians that is a big problem and your causing harm and corruption to innocent people.

    • @abdulrhman_aljebreen

      I understand your point of reducing unemployment in south east Asia but my point was the private organisation are exploiting them for low wages ,horrible working conditions and I am talking about Blue collar job holders who are in majority .( Yes some of white collar job holders benefited but majority blue collar job holders exploit ed). All I am saying is government to be more strict so that less of this exploitation happens ...
      And talking about Yemen . If you attacked Rebel groups I am with you but Saudi military has also attacked innocent civilians and I say that it is incorrect. And was responsible for biggest drought and famine in modern history .
      Apart from this there are some good things in Saudi Arabia for eg low crime rates ,no or very less rapes , theft ,murders etc and one of the lowest in the world and also good electricity and water facilities etc ..(one of the best ) not to mention you guys hold the 2 holiest places in Islam ... But all I am saying is I have no problem with Saudi peoples it's the government that's responsible for the war in Yemen and exploitation not the people .. Saudi people are welcoming and good natured ...
      Same goes for all counties in the world ..people are nice it's the government and corrupt politicians and buisness man that cause all human disasters .
