This was 4 years after the Aloha concert. He was very sick with serious problems with his digestive system and colon cancer and glaucoma and high blood pressure and other medical issues that he had here. He had no business to even be on that stage but he didn’t want to let his fans down. This was his last live performance that was filmed and unfortunately his greedy manager decided to make it a TV special out of it after Elvis passed away 6 weeks after this performance at the age of 42…. Your reaction to this was so brilliant and your assumptions about him and his health or the way he looked were accurate and your emotions were felt thru the screen. You’re a good person to still talk good overall about Elvis and his gifted voice under such a painful end off the last days of his life. But thank you for this reaction and I will continue following your reactions not just to Elvis but other artist as well because your channel is worth watching and you are also such a beautiful young lady inside and out❤🔥

Elvis was only 42. We have to remember all about his phenomenal life and not his death 🙏🕺💕

Great yet sad, gut-wrenching reaction. Only 6 weeks before his death. His last RECORDED concert. There was another show after this and that was it.
Elvis was suffering from a rare debilitating inflammatory disease, which puffed up and ballooned his heart and colon among other organs --- in extreme pain during this entire performance.

Elvis was very sick and this was his last concert 7 weeks before he sadly passed away. But he still sang with his heart and soul so as to not disappoint his fans 👌💕🕺😔

this is not his last concert
i don't know why people keep spreading this false narrative
is it bc they believe everything they saw in the movie??
this was e's last **recorded** performance that was actually comprised of 2 different shows
one in omaha nebraska on june 19th and the other in rapid city south dakota on june 21st
both were probably the two worst shows of his in 77
it's a tragedy these were the shows that the cameras were at bc his other shows in 77 were actually pretty great!
but i think he actually put on a great show in both omaha and rapid city, just not up to par
non the less his charm was fully intact
his last concert was actually june 26th 1977 in indianapolis at the market square arena
and it was a really great show he was feeling and looking much better and was happy having a wonderful time with the audience and band
      and he sounded amazing!

He died 3 weeks later of a heart attack. His only daughter was 9 years old and saw him dead on the bathroom floor. He was so sick here, he felt terrible and of course the drugs he was taking took a toll. Only 42, he was the first superstar in music, he influenced music and culture. He will always be remembered. Thanks for your reaction.

It's the last filmed show, he died 8 weeks later, this was from june 21, he died in august 16 at 42 years old, it's a very hard video to watch, he should have many more years...
Elvis was so sick here, he had already had 3 heart attacks at this stage of his life, before he sits down you can hear that he can hardly breath and he stutters, but then he sits down and sings like this...

His voice just got better right up until the day he died period his mastery over it just grew and grew here and this isn't all that long after the other stuff you've watched, he was very young for his age when he died.
When I first came across these videos 7 weeks before he died a number of years ago, at first I just refuse to watch it because it's just too painful. But now it is some of my favorite of his performances. He's just so masterful and more nuanced than he ever was before. Check out this same concert version of How Great Thou Art. The one from 1972 is good, but I really think this one right before he died in 1977 is better.

Um, Elvis isn't old in this video, he's 42 and I can tell you as a 64-year-old man, 42 is not old at all. I've seen this video clip 100 times and as soon as he hits the piano the tears come to my eyes. I've heard this song covered by other bands including the original Righteous Brothers version and nobody touches this song. Elvis takes it to such a high level that no other person could ever come close

Its a sad video. Elvis had a serious pill problem due to his manager over working him, and it pretty much destroyed his health and he couldnt function without taking at leasdt 6 a day. He was already in grave health in this video and shouldnt even had been performing, especially those high notes
