What a great feature! I love that she was iconic (the hair, the fits, the dancing and the smile) on Soul Train, but still managed to earn a bachelors degree while on the show, then earned an advanced degree… and became an Aerospace Engineer!!

This is great. You never know. Some of the dancers' names just faces and she's one of them for me. I was just looking at her come down the line to Michael Jackson's "I can't let her get away " 1992 ironically
What sticks out to me most from this series is that most of them still lived normal lives. Not like today where we consider everyone a celebrity for the most basic things. Aerospace Engineer? It would be interesting to hear that story because that's still a male dominated field to this day. And being that segregation ended not long before this I'm sure she has some stories to tell. Lastly that polka dot/Dalmation print outfit was 🔥
