Thanks for this unpacking an showing the display case.. been looking for a nice case for additional display for my model shed! Thanks again an Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
Thank you for that video. I have two Carney cases , got the first one from Amazon. When I went to get next one Amazon had some other brand case. Clearly not as good. So I ordered from Carney , did take awhile because there busy making all the spit shields for COVID so thank you Carney plastics for that. One of mine has the angle and is full of nascar models the other no angle and half nascar half nhra. I’m glad someone showed the TH-cam universe how great these are. Thank you
I have been contemplating building some specific sized cases/shelves for display and worried how I was going to do it. Luka Cee just had a model avalanche and his last thought in that video was your unboxing of these cases. This will solve my problem perfectly. Thanks! I'm already on their website!
Carney Plastics is the bomb diggity of display cases if you want a wall mount style. They used to make them custom order to your dimensions if you were willing to pay for the work. I got a single cases years ago to hold models I gave to people as gifts.
@@BGsModelWorkshop I don't.... But I volunteered your gold paint! LOL! (Kind of figured you had some Bryan.) Matt was upset that he forgot to get gold paint to paint an engine. He was going to your house and I suggested to take the engine with him and see if he could use a bit of yours. 🙂😉👍
@@THROTTLEPOWER awesome! Lol. He called and asked if I had any, he was more than welcome to use some! 😁 the other guys in our build night crew sometimes end up using paint I have on hand. Maybe I should start a paint library? 😁
I like those cases. I have been thinking about something like those. Better use of space and around half or better the cost of the individual cases. I'll be checking into getting those. Thanks for showing these Tim.
Those are some nice cases Tim. Definitely gonna check into maybe getting one or two like the ones you got. I like not having the vertical dividers better.
I was going to say, they better be made in the USA! Nice and the wall anchors are included. Are they available big enough to put a 1:1 2022 Ford Bronco in?

Those are great looking display cases, Tim. Wish I wasn't so far off the beaten path! The int'l shipping is always a killer. I wish you a great day. Take care and be well. Greetings from Switzerland - Andrew 🍁👊
Thank you for the info. I’ve heard of the name before but never saw what they actually were. Definitely like the reflective backing for the builds. However, I am curious, what is up with all the bodies sitting in the case? Future projects, stalled projects, slot car bodies??
Not sure off hand Jamie. If you go to their web site and look at the 22/24 case it will give you every measurement you need. If you have any problems finding that case let me know.
@@jamiegsscalemodelgarage3823 WOW, I completely missed that!!!!🤔 Sorry about that Jamie.... They are 19' Wide, 16' Deep, 24' Tall ..... Kind of small, that is why I added risers (which also add as storage space) to the top.
Nice wall display Tim, does the front cover lift up or open sideways. I currently use the AMT individual display cases which get expensive although it does have a twisties tie down which secures the model.
Glad you enjoyed Tyler! I'm a BIG fan of the Carney Display cases and have used them for many years. In fact I was up their way the other week, stopped by and bought some more cases. 🙂 If you have any questions about the cases don't hesitate to ask. 👍

Carney display cases are low quality garbage. The back plastic piece is usually too thin and cracks very easy. For around half the price I build nice 4 feet by 4 feet display cases out of quality wood. Each quality wood display case hold 200 cars, with plenty of space around each car, so they do not look crowded. I prime them with white primer. Then I paint them Lesney Matchbox yellow with a Matchbox International orange frame. I also do them in satin white. They look absolutely stunning !!!! THINK about how much money you have spent on your Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. Don't they deserve a nice high quality wood display case with sliding glass or plexi-glass doors? 😁
Hmmmmm, Ok. Your the 1st person I've ever heard say they are garbage, but everyone has their own opinion. Custom made display cases can be nice and it sounds like your custom display case you made is a nice one.
They are nice. But I decided not to invest. They are very limited for my build style. I have a lifted 4x4 Bronco that won't fit. And I see you have a body that is at the limit of fitting and there's no wheels on it yet. I contacted them a few years ago about making one that can have different heights to the shelves and was told all that's on the website is all there is.
Just like the ones l sold at acme swap meet gave a great deal to others my cases sold for $ 100.00 a piece with mirror backing and single acrylic cases for $ 5.00 each, l like to give all a good deal,, thanks Rockabilly scale kustoms ( be- safe)
