The first time i got that far in the game, i had like one block and was able to heal and he shot a zombie but 4 pellets hit me and deleted me from existance.
@JakeJakers that's ironic considering Kendall makes it harder because zombies can't grab you when carrying survivors!

Mistakes:
"This" was misspelled as "thsi". Oops.
Some of the durability values are hard to figure out. The weapons kart might not last 300 hits, but I can't find any information on it's exact durability. I am confident it will outlast the white sedan with the book, though.
Fun Fact: I was going to have Peter Griffin laugh when I said "PP" during the section talking about the Horror Novels. I realized how annoying that'd get, and figured just say "PP" over and over was funny enough as it is.
Future videos will have a proper ending sequence. I just wasn't happy with any of my attempts with one, as it was either too long (to where I feel the video was better without it) or too short (to the point it felt unneeded).

My favourite book is world news due to how I always try to save everyone each playthrough and it’s PP boost just makes the best source for PP even better followed by engineering as the 4X4 and lead pipe are the weapons I use the most when I’m not using the chainsaw followed by criminal biography for how common blades all and an honourable mention for cooking as quickstep is my favourite mixed drink and it’s time spawn is extremely short without the book
I beat dead rising when I was a kid and got the true ending, and when I went back as an adult I was actually the guy who did zombie genocider first because I really just wanted the mega buster. Yeah I know about the triple book chainsaw and the mannequin torso but that’s not what it was about!
Using the thps2 menu music for the skateboarding section was a great touch

imagine being a cultist and expecting this hot shot to come in guns blazing and you just get nailed in the face by a bike
New game advice for players: Do the zombie genocider first with both zombie xp books to get to around level 36/37(probably higher) and get any ending to unlock the real mega buster.
Second playthrough get the world news book for additional xp relating to survivors and try to save all 50 of them, give survivors shotguns and uzis over any other weapon as they will have a good crowd control weapon when they're in groups(shotguns in particular are extremely useful I had about 4 survivors in my group with shotguns and they cleared Al fresca plaza for me they're more likely to shoot at zombies when you are close to them and stationary you can only get 3 shotguns on the map at any time and all 3 are in the gun shop but you can get 5 if you pick up the shotgun in the intro when the survivor Brian dies and one from kindell if he dies), always have at least 2 Queens on you in case survivors get overwhelmed and the bosses can be killed really quickly using the mega buster.
Don't pick up the brainwashing tips book it makes survivors too aggressive and jump headfirst into a horde instead try keep them all together with shotguns and uzis,
I prefer to use the engineering book with the sledgehammer to clear entire hordes instead of the triple chainsaw as I have more inventory space left as opposed to having to carry 3 books and a weapon when I can just carry 1 book and weapon.
Unlock the wonderland plaza shortcut and use it as much as possible, this helps avoid fighting the convicts when escorting survivors but you can kill them with 1 shot with the mega buster if you want.
Avoid Al fresca plaza at all costs when escorting survivors as it is too densely packed with zombies, the same goes for the North plaza.

I don't know if I'd do that for my first playthrough. You're losing that first experience with an over-leveled Frank and an instant win gun. But yeah, to each their own.

The quality isn't the best, but each book's name is in the intro for that book, along with it's location. So that should help you find where each book is.

I had the same exact thoughts about the Camera 2 book the first time I played the game, they give it to you so late it doesn't matter.

More to the point - excellent observations, though does Carlito have the least amount of health? Seeing that Kent can be offed with a single shotgun blast to the head if you fire before he makes it toward you and instigates the side quest - doesn't that make his health bar less?
Kent can die from a single shotgun blast because he's a survivor at that point. Any survivor dies instantly to heavy blows to the head (sledgehammer, bowling ball, shotgun). You can test this with Paul, as he has 5 health blocks but still goes down instantly to a shotgun to the head when, and only when, he's saved.
If you want further proof, I made a video defeating Carlito with literally everything.

Very handy. Playing DR for the first time, and by modern standards, there is SO much that the game doesn't tell you (books aside).

I know, but Chop Till You Drop wasn't factored in. I also remember that the Tourists were in a different room, but ONLY if playing on a setting higher than easy. Did that actually happen, or am I just misremembering it?
