I recommend that you play the Hungarian Turán II. It has excellent mobility, a dual gearbox, goofy HEAT, and is surprisingly survivable with 5 crew and goofy volumetric armour. And only at BR 2.7

The class 3 can absolutely cheese this tank once you get DM33. Plus the class 3 is a scary vehicle in its own right too, so many times I have shot it and done no damage at all.
One protip, if you can't overpressure something, for exampe, a Tank destroyer, you can shoot at the ground between the tracks. Love bullying Brumbärs that way.

Weapon Detective made a video on the TAM recently, I highly recommend it. Maybe that's why there are so many TAMs - or maybe it's just signs you should give it a spin, and why not? I think your tank started glitching when shooting the coax at the helicopter because when that bomb hit it must have caused your tank to start clipping with either the terrain or some other object. Very suboptimal indeed.

The Object 279 may still be strong and have a shape to “resist a nuke”, but there are other tanks that are equally strong, if not stronger, and can resist not just a nuke, but also being thrown into the sun. Those are the American M2A2, the Soviet T-60, the Japanese Ha-Go, the Italian L6/40 or Hungarian Csaba, the French FCM.36, and the Swedish/Finnish Vickers Mk. E. You say that they're trying to nerf it and yet it's on 9.0, not on 9.3 like Khaled(cast armor and rifled gun), MBT-70(spaced armor and HE lobber) and T-64A(autoloader and early composite). Game ignores things like ergonomics, reliability and budget so Obj 279 is just an MBT with massive gun and no HEAT/APDS. So it needs to go to MBTs.

Honestly it's only the later variants. The ones with the moob are still pretty easy.

It looked like the bombs where they landed put the tank standing on the center between the tracks. Which is what was causing the game to lose it.
It’s because he was parked between 2 bomb craters and gaijin makes recoil on HMGs insanely strong for some stupid reason.
