Guys, if you're trying stuff can you get it online instead of the shop you go to. They're really ripping you off.
Percy Pigs are the invention of Marks and Spencer, a high end store in the UK, they cost around £1.65 per bag here but to charge over $5 seems a bit much. They also have Colin the Caterpillar.

The chewing gum ( bubble gum) the biggest seller here is Wrigleys and Extra I use extra, but as a kid I had bubbly a large round pink block of chewy with a transfer or a tiny comic to read.. I call it spiggy or chewy 💨😚 love my chewy😚
Anything Haribo is not UK, they are from Europe and are interlopers 😂,
You need to get your hands on real UK sweets, not all this modern stuff.
Aniseed balls, pontefract cakes (not haribo ones), cola cubes, rubarb and custards, sherbert pips, drumstick chews (not the squishies), liquorish pipes, foam bananas and shrimps (not the haribo ones), cough candys, penut brittle, mint creams, sweet peanuts, sherbert fountains, dib-dabs, hubba bubba bubble gum, tangarine and lime tictacs, revels chocolates (now that ive got to see). And you need to try pear drops for sure.
That is just some real UK sweets, not stuff thats turnes up here, i mean my sons favorite are hershys penut butter cups, but you know they are not UK, but they sell them everywhere here.

@@BLANKSnooneaskedfor im a 70s kid so alot of these we called "penny sweets" as they sold them from a counter and you said ill have 3 of them and 3 of them, if i found a 2p on the way to school that was 4 aniceid balls as they were 1/2p each 🥳, some of the others were sold by weight, normaly a 1/4lb, now its 500g, but there are not many shops like that left anymore (damn you haribo 🤣) oh "black jacks" and "parma violets" i forgot them 😁 them

I personally prefer snacks. Try Nik Naks spicy and Walkers sweet thai chilli. Candies of not chocolate, marzipan.

Strawbs are not my thing at all, Turkish delight is eww, but I do love a haribo jelly baby and tangtastics.
Haribo are German not British
Britain has a haribo factory in fact in a place called Pontefract in West Yorkshire.

Nougat is nasty
It’s not so bad not great though. not the best in this form … rather have it mixed into a candy bar .
I quite like a nougat bar old style tho that one they ate, that one is like a brick
