You're killing me here! 😁 The raw cheddar cheese and the salted butter are super favorites here 😂 can't wait to try the apple rings and pancake mix!! Great video!!
We've never tried any dairy from Azure. We source local raw milk buy it's getting quite expensive. Looking forward to thr day when we can make our dairy cow a reality! 😇
Just found your channel looking up Azure hauls! I too just ordered the conadria figs for the first time. They don’t seem to be as dry as the mission figs. If you make a recipe out of them please post! ❤
Welcome to our channel, Alicia! We love Azure if you can't tell. 😇 We are working on adding more recipe videos into our content schedule. As soon as we make a tasty treat with those figs we'll post a video about it. Thanks for watching! 😁
The problem with the cheese is the price. We eat cheese daily. I just balk at the price of the grass fed. Sigh. Nice score on the butter. I wrote to Rumiano to ask about the salt. Stacey's tortillas are so good! Great haul, thank you for your time!!!
Thank you, Cathy! Let us know what you hear from Rumiano! And yes, the price is concerning with everything. It's becoming so difficult to afford proper nutrition. We continue to make new sacrifices elsewhere to try to keep up. But we are running low on new sacrifices!
Question for Aprons and Overalls and out to the peeps watching here. I've been buying Azure Organic all purpose flour, but notice that it's pretty heavy. It isn't as light as other flours that I buy such as King Arthur. I use it for bread and it makes a pretty heavy loaf. I have used Azure bread flour, but don't remember how it performed. Any suggestions to lighten it up? Thank you in advance.
I use their ap organic and a hard white wheat for my bread loaves, so my loaves are always a bit more dense. I have used it to make basic yeasted dinner rolls and they turned out nice and fluffy. Do you think maybe sifting it could help? I'm sorry I can't be of more help Erin! Maybe someone else here has something they can recommend to help out?
@@Aprons.Overalls thank you A&O, I love the taste of the AP organic Azure flour I just don't like the denseness and lack of rise. Maybe I'll try sifting. Thanks again!
Yayayay! Excited to see this! 🤩 Oh man that’s such a good deal on the honey! 🍯 Good tip on the produce! Ok coconut oil is now on my next list too. Carob chips too! I’ll tell my daughter about the pancake mix! 🙌 I make my own apple chips but the figs look yummy! (Your giggle)😅 Hmm Tamari? I’ll have to check it out, I usually use Aminos. Yes, we try to shred our own cheese & not buy shredded. Thanks for the info on the cheese! Ohhhh jealous of the butter haul! 🤩 Oh girl, you should try making your own yogurt, save a bit (about a cup) and make your own with organic whole milk! You’d love it! 💕 Yes the avocado oil is awesome! Nice 2 cupper! 🤩 I happened to have found one at Goodwill a few months ago! Oh I’ve wanted the Nourishing Traditions book! I’ll be excited to hear about the new things you tried. Blessings to you and the family! ☺️
Thank you for all of your kind words Christine! My instant pot does have a yogurt button. I need to get brave and try it out. Especially with how fast the girls are going through the supply we got 🤗
Yeah, at one point I started buying Sweet Baby Rays sauce because I'd heard people talk about it. But then I realized that it was a corn syrup based sauce--so annoying! We've been trying different varieties since then:-)
Becoming conscience to all of the poisons in the food supply is a constant barrage of disappointment as you find more and more foods that you used to love should not longer be ingested. :(
We just got our second azure order. Our first one we were early and the truck was late. This time we were a little late and the truck was already unloaded and gone. I think we should only order dairy in the winter. Our truck isn't refrigerated, and it takes a week to get to us.
That's very interesting... we've not heard of any Azure drops that don't come on a refrigerated truck. Are you able to order items like cheese or frozen goods when shopping online?
@Aprons & Overalls When you select your drop, in the details, it says it's not refrigerated. You can still order those items, but it's not guaranteed to be good when it gets to you. I've ordered milk, and it tasted like it was going bad. The yogurt and butter was ok. This time, I got the Stacy's tortilla wraps. They weren't frozen, I did get cheese this time, but we haven't tried it yet. Everything was still cold, but I think that is partly because the weather is still chill. I don't think it would be to bad if you were at the beginning of the drop. Since it takes a week to reach us in Ohio, I think we are at the end. Our order shipped on a Friday, and it arrived the following Friday.
@@foorlife632 Wow - thank you for sharing with us. We had assumed that all Azure trucks were refrigerated. Yes - that sounds like a very good strategy then to avoid dairy outside of the winter months.

Great haul. You really scored on the butter! Awesome job on the video editing, I loved the product inserts and prices.

At this rate, we're going to need to get that personal dairy cow ASAP!
Good news about the flour. I love the Organic Valley half & half and we buy their milk as well, but Azure does not carry the milk unfortunately.

Thank you. May contain wheat on the cornmeal. That was very helpful.
You are welcome! Alex has a nut allergy so we know how import the ingredients list can be for some people. Thank you for watching, Linda! :)
I got the Nourishing Broth book in my last order too. It’s excellent!
Yay - that's awesome, AJ! Now we just need to find the time to actually read these books! ;)

Hi there, do the grain bags have a plastic layer inside the paper bag? Thank you.
Make cabbage row soup. Yummy
