  • This is probably the last mowing video of the year. It’s been too dry for too long and the grass is just growing at a snails pace. The small field in the beginning is scary steep which is why it’s cut vertically. Stick around to the end to see just how steep it is!

I guess the next step will be to cut down limbs along the tree line to recover more field as much as possible.

Started doing some of that already. We’ve got almost 2 miles of tree line so it’s going to be a loooong slow process.

Awesome video, keep up the good work.👍 I have 11 acres and was thinking about getting a flail mower. Do you have any regrets or advise when picking a flail mower out.?have you had any problems with the titan flail?

Thanks!! On buying, look for something that’s heavy duty for sure. The drum spins those blades crazy fast and carries debris with it which of course pounds the inside of the housing. I’d also make sure the roller and skid heights are adjustable and I’d look for the simplest design that still meets your needs to reduce the number of replacement parts to deal with down the road. The only dislike I have about it is that the long roller in the back doesn’t allow the mower to make tight turns like the single wheel on a bush hog does. Either have to make wide turns, do 3 point turns, or raise the mower up on those tight turns. We’ll be mowing again here soon. Keep an eye out!
