I’m running Abingdon and have a 14 month old who has been home from nursery ill all of the last week - so definitely feel you on the fears for getting ill! Let’s hope we both get to start line healthy 💪
Well Done Andy. Brought a lot of blocks and hard earned lessons together. The fact you weren’t really feeling it first part of block yet persevered. The reality of family life (once again attempting to dodge kids bugs) and yet your speed blocks are contributing to better speed AND your body has tolerated three hard sessions per week for four weeks in the key phase. I think the “six minute mile marathon” is 2:37 & change but I hope you take the opportunity & edge a bit ahead of that!
Great video. Started following from the start of this training block. You have had some great progress. 2:35 is on the card. Just race it sensible and stick to the plan. I am training for a sub 2:50 marathon. 👊
@@TheFODRunnerthanks bud. Not sure how it’ll go on Sunday but Im keeping my fingers crossed. I’ve entered a local marathon in December in Portsmouth as a backup in which case I will look at Abingdon as a long test run 😂
Good luck with your next race. Like to Andy. A nice weekend for everyone.
Thanks buddy
Good luck wish you the best for the race
Thank you 👊

Oh no! Quarantine the kiddo 😂 that’s what I’m doing to mine… put locks on their bedrooms and feeding them by passing a paper plate under the door
Legend 👍🤣
Well done, Andy & hope the marathon result matches your training efforts! 🤞🤜
Thanks so much 👊
You deserve a great race Andy, your train has gone so well the last 6 - 8 weeks.
Hoping you stay illness free !!🙏
Thanks mate, I’ll try to quarantine myself now haha

Looking really strong mate
See you there
Unfortunately my sub3:30 dreams are shattered after I fractured my foot walking the dog but won’t miss this
Oh no! So sorry to hear that!! I am so gutted for you, I hope it’s not too long of a lay off for you?

Well done dude and good luck I’m thinking of 2,35 💪👍
Thanks buddy 👊
Stay healthy boss and best of luck. Have the Dublin Marathon in 2 weeks and I'm just trying to get over a light cold, so avoid your kids 😂😅
Thanks buddy, will try too! Hope the cold shifts for you… better to get it now than race week I guess!
When you’re doing your 3,2,1s are you resting inbetween at all, or between sets? Or no rest?
No extra rest between the sets... just 1 minutes after each rep throughout
