sure is a beautiful and powerful dog. much respect just asking but if a knucklehead came down the street w/ a hostile dog would he run across street to other dog?
Is mace still available? Does he have any bite work yet or just obedience? I lost my Czech male a year ago he was only 3 but ended up having a brain tumor causing horrible episodes of seizures. He was complete obedience and executive guard dog I love the Czech line a lot and am a retired police officer so very capable of continuing training. Mace is currently available. I do not do any bite work with dogs unless requested by their owners. From working with him I can say he does have the drive for it, but my main focus is obedience training. Whenever possible reach out, I would like to hear more about your previous GSD.
Yeah I totally get it and most people have no clue how to work a protection dog meaning people who own them not the trainers. I do some of my own training and then also have a buddy who worked dogs in the military for many years who helps with the bite work. My dog was neiko he had crazy ball drive extreme prey drive which we had to work to balance the prey and defensive drive and the last year I had him he was almost perfect. Broke my heart to put him down but the seizures were getting worse and meds weren’t helping and to me it was cruel to keep him alive knowing the type of dog he was just wouldn’t have been fair even though it was the hardest thing I ever did. My last dog was my retired police dog who lived 14 years still hard to put him to sleep but with neiko being so young I felt cheated to not get many years with him. I am the type of man who loves his dogs so much so it is just hard as hell as I am sure you get. I live in lake of ozarks Mo now I worked and lived in Kansas City mo for 20 years we are under winter storm warning this wknd so if I don’t lose electricity I will see if I can hook up with you on your website and maybe even chat for a bit on phone as I am interested in mace just would like to talk a bit and then talk it over with my wife

At this level of training, no. I wouldn’t risk it if I did not trust him.
