I just saw Gojira with Mastadon this summer and it was the absolute best sounding concert I have ever seen in over 30 yrs of concerts. You could hear everything crystal clear with no ear piercing highs or ridiculous lows. Kudos to their sound engineer! 🤘
The Mega Monsters Tour is easily the sickest show I've ever been to. Still can't believe I got to see them both basically double headline in the same show.
Love this video and that low rock sound , if your interested "the butterfly effect" from australia do heaps of really cool interesting stuff in drop C.
Thanks man. Usually when people on the internet say "easy riffs", they mean 'for people who can actually play guitar / read sheet music' (which is not me ;D). Good reminder for me of what's possible with simple powerchords and chugs
Haven’t watch the video yet. I’ll return to the comments after. I bet you all he doesn’t have any Dethklok. Just DJENT and core BS……… Nvm. First song is System of a Down. This TH-camr is fit to to take the stand.
You could put like half of Rammstein's disc on here. Not complaining, they are one of my favorite bands of all time, but still.
And the other half would be their (absolutely awesome) Drop D Riffs.
And thats why we love them :)))

And now we get Lamb of God and Mastodon!
Honestly, you could just fill this list with SOAD riffs. Daron is such a great writer and comes with with absolutely killer parts
Agree, and a lot of his riffs are so fun to play, too.
@@KevinBalke Definitely, he was my intro to Drop C and a heavy influence when it comes to composing heavy riffs
There is no better Drop C band than SOAD
Yea there is

Love this channel!!! Thanks for all the riffage!

now I believe that I can play it! Thank you!
Nice riffs
Bro SOAD's "Suggestions" sounds like the first verse of "Blind" by Korn
Same two chords
If ever there was a tuning that suited a specific genre..
I love this!
Can I make a request of you playing some Ministry riffs (Just One Fix, The Missing, Psalm 69, etc)?
I would add Confined by As I lay dying, the whole song Is actually pretty easy
I mean the chorus riff really isnt beginner
It’s not really a beginner song, intermediate for sure. Don’t get me wrong it’s easy but beginners would struggle
Seeing frantic was nice
0:02 Ill never know just what you run so far away far away from me!
Already knew System of a Down was gonna be on this list
What pickups are you using!? Sounds great!
Thanks. Just the standard pickups that came with the guitar. Might be Gibson 490T and 490R pickups, but I'm not 100% sure.
Good ❤️⚡
Hi, i have a question what are the amp settings to get that sound? Great video, thank you so much
Overdrive pedal into a distorted 5150-style amp. Turn up the gain as much as you like, turn down some mids and leave the rest in middle position.
Hi, please tell me, where do you get the backing tracks? Or drum loops?
I make them myself.
Good
Actually, The Shooting Star isn't that easy for begginners, in term of rythm and precision on the bends.
And last we have marigold by periphery
Лучший!❤️
Best drop C song is Suicide Messiah
Inside the fire for beginners?! Not so sure about that, just my opinion.
Godsmack
CGCFAD?
I thought Skillet played mostly in drop C#?
Include "Something In The Way" in the next vid)
BLEW
🤘😈
🎸
Нет уж, Inside the Fire для лохопедов безруких, вроде меня, не так уж и прост))
Зато Deutschland отлично играется!
You dont have to tune in drop z to sound heavy
That is so hilarious! I have never seen such an original comment!
Disturbed is easy ???? I dont think so =)
Why include Skillet, they're nothing bot a Walmart Three Days Grace lol
Bro, you have either to correct your picking technique or slightly detune 6th string, cause it's out of tune cause you pick to hard.
I knew this dude wouldn’t have Dethklok. As if they don’t sound better than anything with a C note in it.

DJENT and drop C? Nah
