Is there a tip on how to make chords in drop tunings? Are there any shapes that work in standard and drop tunings? I was thinking just adding a root on the 6th strings to the conventional 5th root chords whose root will be the new 5th. Does that work for all 5th string root voicings? Any ideas?
Wow they sound really interesting i tried to transfered those types of chords but in E standard Tuning. I hope you make more related videos like this about chords. Its very interesting ¡Cheers!
I personally prefer 12’s. That extra tension really helps with the slacker tuning for me. Whatever you feel more comfortable with though. Try out a few different sizes!
Thanks now after trying to do the chords realizing darn I definitely need to do more finger stretching 👍

I personally like 11-54
11-54's work the best for drop c
I use 10-52's (Ernie Ball Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom)
Hi, What is that you cover the guitar nut with?
It's a fret wrap. You use it to eliminate unwanted string noise.
He uses gruv gear fret wrap to be exact.
