    You are the most tranparent of all self publishing vlogers which is why I purchased your course. I have been busy with other businesses but now this motivated me to put some more time into amazon even though they just raised their printing fees. PS got my ACOS from 70 to 37 in just two months. Maybe I will share the strategy in a upcoming post!

    How is it possible for you to get 1.9k klicks from monthly traffic of under 10k? That means 20% of the people visiting the site found your book interesting enough to click through to it?
    Also, your Ubersuggest for Joel books says 9793 organic monthly visits.
    Mine, four days after your video was published says 8,426.
    Does it vary so much in just a few days? Or maybe did you film the segment quite a while ago?

    • @ChrisJohnsonHome
      @ChrisJohnsonHome ปีที่แล้ว

      These are just traffic estimates, usually low estimates since these tools can only see highly visible keyword traffic data, not traffic from low traffic long tail keywords, email blasts or social media. And yes the monthly traffic can fluctuate wildly especially for smaller sites with just a few prominent keywords.

    • @NR-rv8rz
      @NR-rv8rz ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Here's my report. I tried to post it on it's latest video but it got autodeleted.
      I'm wondering how much of your advice is trustworthy.
      A few videos back you did a Fiverr review and your final spend was with Joelbooks where you claimed to get 1,900 click throughs on your your book.
      Not only is it hard to believe that 20% of the entire monthly traffic to that website clicked through to your book's Amazon listing, but I tried the service and even paid extra to get my book on the side bar so it was doubly listed and after four days of being listed, it has not generated even one single sale.
      My book has an extremely attractive and professionally designed cover and is seen as a compelling purchase by those beyond this site. So although I'm not claiming it is best seller material, I would expect at least some sales based on the quality of my book and your claims about traffic to your own book listing page.
      This is not sour grapes about a book not selling well. My book is selling ok via other sources but I put a hold on marketing it for a week so I could gauge the effectiveness of this site. It is incredulity at your claims to have driven almost two thousand visitors to the site to your Amazon listing page.
      Of course, you didn't say how many of those 1,900 visitors to your listing purchased the book, but it would be expected that if they were interested enough to go to the listing, some of them would go the next step and order a copy.
      After just under three days, I did ask them how many people clicked on my book to take a look at the expanded page for it on their site and I was told that just over one hundred had done so. By then, the book had moved ten or so places down the listing so it can be assumed that the majority of clicks would happen in the first few days.
      So if you claimed to have had just under two thousand people click through to your Amazon listing, then it should be assumed that many times that would have clicked to look at the book on the website page and not all of them would have gone to your Amazon listing. Which means that based on your claim, half or more of the sites entire monthly traffic clicked on your book in the first few days (as after four or five days it would disappear from the front page).
      Logic, common sense and my experience using that service all point to you not being honest about your results.

      @@NR-rv8rz - the clicks are not unique I don't believe. Is that correct Sean? That means that if something was clicking the link over and over, it could count as 1.9K clicks but could potentially only be from a single browser. There is no way to know without much more advanced attribution and tracking happening.
