I really loved this song for it was yet another stunning masterpiece by Tuomas that had me in my feelings. ❤ To me it represents the never-ending desire for what once was, to be reflecting on that connection to a lost home and a sense of what you would call ghostly love that continues to linger on.
The intro was my favourite part of the song for there was a serenity that made me feel
at peace. All I can say is I need more of it! 😊 While I very much enjoyed listening to Floor and Troy's solo vocals, it's when they both came together in harmony that it was extra special, for it was rather haunting. Not to mention the acoustic guitar solo for that sounded amazing!
I really appreciated the light and shade in the song, which from a story perspective could represent the hope and despair. Yet as the song built you could feel the energy and the tempo lift, for the intensity envelops you as it was epic! 🔥
And in the last few minutes of the song we were presented with a beautiful instrumental from Nightwish, which I thought brought the song to a close in such a glorious way.
Thank you so much for your reaction and the breakdown of the lyrics Vakasa, for I really appreciated listening to your interpretation of them. May you take care with much love and blessings. 😊🙏❤
