My mom, aunt, and grandma all worked there FOR YEARS back in the day and loved it! The whole family eventually settled out west and could only get it when visiting home, but I’m not sure if there are any left in their hometown. I’d be thrilled to stumble across that statue, despite not taking it home.
I have always carried a pair of scissors in my back pocket in my entire life and I'm almost 60 now those big giant pair of scissors that you almost pointed out are amazing I want them so bad.
Ooh please let it not be waaay up!! Im dying to go! **its only like 2.5hrs away! Oooh boy I'm gonna be in so much trouble 😂😂 I do need a new smaller kitchen table though...🤔
You know whats crazy ? There's a big boy restaurant with this exact statue in the small coastal town I live in... IN FRANCE lmao I always thought that big boy was a weird name also why an american dinner on the french seaside ?? But now i'm even more puzzled... Like how did he cross the atlantic ocean ???
OMG I was thinking this is super similar to a store in my area, just for this to ACTUALLY be the store in my area. No one ever comes to my little state!! I had to hear New Hampshire 3 times before I could truly comprehend that you were here! I didn’t immediately recognize the place because I was last there about 5 years ago when I moved into my new home. I have a photo I took with a life size hot dog figurine there haha. I truly love all the vintage, used, and consignment stores in my area but I can’t go to them too often because I don’t have the space or money for more stuff 🥲 Thank you for using your platform to showcase something cool in my state!!
That disco horse would be amazing as a garden statue, peaking out from amongst lush foliage with moss growing in between the tiles and covered in vines
that’s wild bc there’s an old drive in restaurant from like the 60s near a place i frequent in my state (NYS) & they have that EXACT “big boy” statue!!
Grew up in Londonderry and i remember passing this store regularly on my way to derry. My mom brought home all sorts of amazing things from there. So yea this post made me just a little homesick since we just moved to Nevada in January. The address for the shop says its113 Hillside Ave, Londonderry, NH 03053, but on a map of Londonderry it is on Londonderry rd, down the street from moonlight meadery, and the fireworks store near 102 on your way to derry in case anyone wants to drop in :)
turning that beautiful purple office piece to modern black kind of broke my heart - cuz I adore that colour and it's a rare one to find 💜 but I understand that you wanted it different
Are you kidding me?‽! I've followed you for a long while now and I've loved your content! I always thought you were living your chic life out on the West Coast. You're in NH?? I'm living there right now!! Mind blown 🤯
I'm grateful for those who appreciate things that have come before and chose to give them new life over amazoning cheap shit or getting everything at target. I'm especially impressed with your age. ❤
What an incredible find of a store, by the way!!! I’d love to find a place like this in my area. I love off-the-wall cool finds like these, really gets my creative/interior design juices flowing!
That horse looks like it came straight out of Studio 54 Disco Era. I seem to recall reading Bianca Jagger riding a white horse in that club, so it's not very far off, lol!
I love this store, I've got so many cool things from here and they have new cool stuff all the time. One of these days I'm going buy that giant VIDEO sign.
I dated a guy who was from Kentucky I’m from Texas I had never heard of them and they had a few of those big boy statues and oh my gosh I was obsessed I snagged like 4 of their 6 for decoration at my house. Still Don’t know why I was so obsessed with them
I would LOVE to go there, I might just have to visit America just to go to thos shop. I NEED that mirrored horse. It probably wouldn't fit in my flat, but I love it ❤
I remember big boys they used to be one down the street back in the 1990s you don't look like you're old enough to remember the old McDonald's in the old big boys restaurants or the old friendly's
Reminds me of this place down in Hwood that has all sorts of stuff, and it's kinda open to the elements 😮😢 But bright and shiny. Then Norton Sales and Apex Electronics, they are really fun to scour!
Saw the same horse at a Marshall's in Portland Oregon a couple years ago. It was 2 grand! Came back the next day and it had sold. I often wonder who purchased it.
It is SUCH a funky place. We don’t really need much right now, but when I do up my lobby I’m going to go raid them for a nice big hotel room mirror. And maybe some year buy one of the gearwork art sculptures. 😂
Those big scissors would be so fun to have in an art/craft room gives me art attack vibes
Omg I love art attack!!
Where? I've rewatched it multiple times but I can't find it x')
@Noblesse_Sapphire close to the end. They look like orange fiskars dressmaking scissors and they're standing up
Glad I’m not the only one that spotted those! I loved art attack as a kid!
@Noblesse_Sapphire it's around the :54 mark
Deja Vu is the perfect name for a used furniture store
That horse is so Beyoncé coded
if they were smart, they’d set it up as a photo op
Fr! When I saw it I screamed, "BEYONCE?!?!?"😂
I literally want to travel just to buy that horse
RENEIGH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???
i jumped when i saw it im glad you commented
MY SHOCK when you said NH! I NEVER expect people on YT to mention my state 😂
same I heard it and had to rewind real quick
LITERALLY
Same !! Manchester NH here lol
Srsly!! I’m in MA and was fully expecting this to me in CA or Smthg
she’s from there
Bob’s Big Boy was the best diner. I always hugged on him when I was a kid. The Big Boy combo hamburger was like a Big Mac lol.
Big Boy was a million times better than a big mac!
Still have em in Ohio

That place looks like heaven. I could get lost in there for hours.
Should’ve given a jump scare warning for the giant Elvis 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s even worse IRL. 😂😂
Fr tho 😭
I'm so glad you're promoting them, it helps keep places like this open!
That’s the Frisch’s Big Boy! Classic midwestern diner mascot.
I’m being so serious when I say I NEED that horse
Bobs Big Boy is a Classic! Definitely recommend! SUPER nostalgic there
I have always carried a pair of scissors in my back pocket in my entire life and I'm almost 60 now those big giant pair of scissors that you almost pointed out are amazing I want them so bad.
The Elvis head was a JUMPSCARE
genuinely not lying... i saw this store in a dream... i live in the UK have no idea it existed
Well now thats real deja vu
I never heard of this place and i'm right next to New Hampshire!
Ooh please let it not be waaay up!! Im dying to go!
**its only like 2.5hrs away! Oooh boy I'm gonna be in so much trouble 😂😂 I do need a new smaller kitchen table though...🤔
Was just there last week. I sent you a message in your B.E. Short. I know a few extra cool stores in the region.
"And this" that's my favorite burger guy, Frische's Big Boy! Mascot of a semi-regional American diner chain
Also of bob's and mark's big boy. Love them
@@bridgetcflynn mood, anytime I've seen mark mention Skyline chili I'm always sitting there like the spiderman pointing meme haha
The “and this” was an affront to Big Boy.
Today I learned that the big boy has many... Names? Owners? Master's??
You know whats crazy ? There's a big boy restaurant with this exact statue in the small coastal town I live in... IN FRANCE lmao

I got SO happy when you said New Hampshire!!! Finally a cool place I can go to
That disco horse would be amazing as a garden statue, peaking out from amongst lush foliage with moss growing in between the tiles and covered in vines
I'm originally from NH! When I visit next year I'll have to stop in.
that’s wild bc there’s an old drive in restaurant from like the 60s near a place i frequent in my state (NYS) & they have that EXACT “big boy” statue!!

That name is so clever for a vintage/second hand store ✨
You said New Hampshire 😍
That's when this video became a hard pass for me
@@dixienormus8why?
@@alexisrene5854 look up what a flyover state is
My dream store😮 but to far from California 😢
Same! It's so weird and random, but I live in the UK, so yeah, I ain't ever going there 😅
That store needs to be a model for used furniture stores in every state!! I'm on the other coast and would LOOOOOVE to peruse in a store like that!!
Why don’t we have stores like this in the UK!? It looks so cool!
The place looks awesome 💜
There are many Bob's Big Boys left, and that little guy in the checkered overalls is its mascot. That is pretty rad that it ended up I NH.
A Bob’s Burgers Big Boy!! That would be so hilarious for anyone who grew up eating there to have in their home! 😂
This is in my husband's hometown! We're totally going to check it out, thank you!! 👏💙
Ok but those scissors! I want them! Lol
Not me mapping it to see that I’m 4.5 hours due west of there… hmmm…
you could make a one day round trip if you left super early and got home late
I love that chandelier
Omg i love this place!!! I wish it was in my town. It looks AMAZING!!!
biblically accurate elvis face says "be not afraid"
OH. My. GOD…
I saw the Red Wild Force Power Ranger and had to rewind multiple times to make sure I wasn't seeing things
Lo se, tuve que verlo varias veces y luego de estar segura se lo mostré a mi esposo 😂
I need the big boy statue!! I needs it in my life!!!! Looks like I'm going on a road trip....
Do they have a website?

That sofa and your idea for it looks great
That horse looks like it came straight out of Studio 54 Disco Era. I seem to recall reading Bianca Jagger riding a white horse in that club, so it's not very far off, lol!
So jealous of your sofa!! It's so sci-fi!!!
I love this store, I've got so many cool things from here and they have new cool stuff all the time. One of these days I'm going buy that giant VIDEO sign.
You need the huge hammock looking chair OMG I'm in love
I need those Chinese guardian lion statues like, yesterday
I’m there often! Love that place.
Wow!!! Id love to walk through this place!!!❤ But too far away, sadly.😢

OMG...... That is close to where I am from I used to work for fosters in Exeter.
A lot of this stuff is HomeGoods merchandise. I recognize a good amount of that stuff from working there for 7 years
Dude I LIVE in NH!!! SO cool you were so close. Going to have to check out this plane
Saw the same horse at a Marshall's in Portland Oregon a couple years ago. It was 2 grand! Came back the next day and it had sold. I often wonder who purchased it.
Did not know they made life sized Wild Force Power Ranger statues
It's off exit 4 on 93, not far from the MA border.
this is the first time i've ever wanted to be in new hampshire
Looks like a hoarders paradise
A big boy statue! That was one of tje best places to get a burger!

When you said NH, I nearly spit out my coffee! Where in NH?! Also, how neat that this short found me- a NH native
I remember that big boy being on the Shoneys restaurant when I was young.
This place is so crazy and cool, I really want to visit!!
Holy 💩 ! I live 10 minutes away and have never heard of this place!
Oh man, I wish there was a store like that in Wa state, I'd buy a bigger house just to have a place to furnish !
Wow, I'd love to go there!
What the heck ! The second I saw that Elvis I knew exactly where you were. I grew up in the next town over.
That place looks amazing. How are the prices??
This kind of shop literally sparks joy for me~ things everywhere makes my fisshh brain activated and inspired 💙💙
