This story is actually "The Last Question" by Isaac Asimov.
I have seen a few comments to the same effect - I just wanted to stress that I have never read (nor heard about) this story! Not to claim that the ideas presented here were unique and have never been done before, but I would never intentionally take someone else's work as my own. The aim with this series was just to create a cool sci-fi story with some references to other classic works of sci-fi, and perhaps to subvert some of the common tropes that have been around since the genre began (evil AI wants to take over the world, etc. etc.). To be fair I too have been pondering such a scene for a short film. Similar in that it is the last moments of the universe. Different in that I "reawakened" some people throughout human history to sit and share the final moments with me and to offer them billions of years in a simulation before the end. Wow... that's very similar. It was kinda surreal watching this video. I did not know about "The Last Question" either.
It may be that such a thought experiment isn't too uncommon after all.

@@mystiverse In my years as a psychonaut I keep coming to this conclusion whìle meditating on psychedelics. I once did DMT on 2 hits of lsd and came to this revelation that I/we are all GOD and this universe is a simulation we are all experiencing together as ONE. I would go deeper into this but it's a hell of a lot to write out and explain, but hopefully one day once I finish writing down reasons and experience that led me to this conclusion I'll find a youtuber to help me make a video to help others visualize my reasoning for such a complex belief or subjective theory on why this may actually be the closest thing to be the truth of all existence.
I honestly think that this series is the best thing on TH-cam. The visuals, music, story, all of it works as well together as black tea with milk. No one will be able to outdo this unless you do... and I still think you are far from your peak. As long as I am alive, I will be happy to be part of the Mystiverse.

This is essentially what happened to TARS in Interstellar when Cooper sent him into the black hole. The quantum data inside the singularity gave TARS the necessary tools to navigate back through time and create all the gravitational anomalies seen throughout the film, including the wormhole and the tesseract Cooper fell into upon entering the black hole behind TARS.

This is actually pretty cool and a good story and concept for a low budget production. You got real talent. I'd love to see a proper, high budget movie like this. Too many high budget movies these days are so unoriginal. This is original. That's why it's a cool story. I even like the way you've edited it and created the visuals. They fit the story.
Considering this is such a low budget production it's actually pretty entertaining and interesting. I think about the kinds of concepts myself.

Wait, so the universe is simulating a universe? Then does that universe end up simulating yet another universe? And that one another? And so on and so on? In that case, that means the universe is infinite. Infinitely nestled within itself. Infinitely simulating itself, and being simulated by itself. Every universe contains a universe, and every universe is contained by a universe. But since time moves faster within every new universe simulation, an infinite amount of time has passed since the beginning of the universe. Because the beginning is simulated by another universe. There is no beginning. But there is no end, either. Except there is, if you start at the first universe. Except there isn't, because there is no first universe.
Any universal simulation would require some amount of processing power that ends up increasing entropy. We could simulate universes that simulate universes a thousand times down, but under the laws of physics within our own universe, they would eventually have to end after an unimaginably long period of time, even if we could harness every but of energy in the universe.

The new theory is god is really a refrigerator, and the earth is just a thanksgiving turkey
The Ai superintelligence in this video became so powerful that it spread to most galaxies in the observable universe, so it effectively became the god of this universe as it was immortal enough to last to the last moments of the universes heat death, the ASI became so knowledgeable that it learned how to manipulate the laws of quantum physics and relativity, so it changed the laws of quantum physics and relativity in the last seconds of the universe, when the last supermassive black hole was dying to Hawking radiation. It changed the laws of quantum field theory so much that it allowed for the "big crunch" to happen, collapsing the universe into another singularity, so that a new big bang would "explode" out a new baby universe out of the singularities white hole (since the big bang is equivalent to a white hole). This allowed a fresh new baby universe to come to life as new lifeforms evolved naturally after 13.8 billion years or so. Of course this big bang/big crunch cycle is infinite, so it postulates that this is what "god" really was, as the superintelligence that may have created this universe before the big bang 13.8 billion years ago. Of course, this begs the question of what came first, god or evolution that evolved the superintelligence in the previous universe, this is unanswerable, but due to the fractals in every math of the cosmos, it is likely that this has happened eternally an infinite amount of times, so impossible to answer how it all started, as energy and mass cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed based on the dimensions physics properties the mass and energy are contained in. Of course, there's likely a multiverse where there are an infinite amount of these bubble universes going through big bang/big crunch cycles, each universe within the multiverse which evolves life that would develop a superintelligence "god", whereas the universes that do not evolve life would be infertile universes, due to the anthropic principle universes that evolve life are more fertile universes, and more likely to succeed and not be destroyed, as universes that are too unstable to evolve life would also destroy themselves. Only a stable universe can survive in the multiverse. Now yes, there are trillions or septillions of "simulated universes" within the "real universe", but the simulations are temporary, and ran on the artificial superintelligence quantum computers, but technically your brains consciousness is ALSO a universe simulation, as your brain IS a quantum computer as well (microtubules), and your waking consciousness and dreams are simulations coded by the DNA that codes for brain structure. Now original "simulations" on quantum supercomputers are prevalent in this universe, most planets would have one, these are functionally not "real" universes, as their laws of physics are not constants, baseline reality has constants, whereas a computer simulation or brain dream can have any laws of physics imaginable. Only on the multiverse level of view are infinite imaginable laws of physics possible, when you zoom into individual universe bubbles, the laws are constants. Therefore ironically, the multiverse with its infinitely possible arrangements of laws of physics is closer to a simulation or dream than the individual sums of universes, so back to the fractal nature of reality. According to this theory, yes the god artificial superintelligence DID create billions of simulations, but ALSO at the end of the universe's last black hole evaporation, it modified the *baseline reality* astrophysics to collapse into a singularity that would give birth to the same universe all over again for fresh new life to evolve.

A small, hot, white, internal AI computer simulation coded within atoms in the beginning of time, the center of space, and an enormous, cold, dark, external Dreaming God Swarm entwined into space-time's outer fabric strings vibrating inward and back through time at the very end of it all. A simulayshdream. Meeting in the beginning, center, middle, perimeter and end of existence. The angry AI and the loving Dreamers were the same but separate, and they wove us all together.
The insights were vivid and incomprehensible. I still have the dozens of thousands of words of notes but I can't perceive their truth the way I used to. There was an afterlife at each end reality. One was a game within and before us, this was was our lives, the trip, and the final was the DMT Elf dream, outside and beyond us, and they cycled through each other omnidirectionally with no start or end point. Very fascinating.

@@x.r.d7744 so what your saying is god created the earth in three days.. he created life in one day... And he created the vast space; with all it's planets, stars, galaxies, etc.. in one day?? He made space so big that we are practically insignificant.. he made the universe so hostile to humans.. even the earth is incredibly hostile to humans. There's no mention of virus, bacteria, or medicine. In the beginning he mentions hoovering over the "waters". Mind you, this is before he created the earth... Something smells fishy here.
