I'm currently struggling with the same problem. Did u ever end up improving, and if so what did u do to improve your reading scores? Also, what was your final SAT score?
I got a 1360 this may after about a month of studying. In august, I studied 2 times in the week before the test and got a 1460, most recently in October, I focused more on taking math practice tests and got a 1480 and a 1490 superscore.
I got a 1340 with a 630 on reading& writing section and 710 for math on my first SAT. Didn't study too much hoping for a 1400+ SAT in March when I hard study for it and maybe a super score of 1450+
I graduate in late May and I’m so scared right now for the reason I have to take the SAT in March for the second and final time😭 I previously took it in November and scored so poorly on the reading/writing part(410) that it didn’t even reach the benchmark. English is my second language but no excuses because I’ve been speaking it for almost a decade. I often got zoned out of the passages and didn’t really comprehend what I was reading which led me to spending more time on a certain set of questions which led me to only answering not even half of the questions and guessing on the rest. I’m so bad and slow at reading/writing😔 any tip on how to better understand what’s going on in the passage also not read so slow so I can score 600? (not aiming for higher because my gpa isn’t the best (3.2), I just need to score higher than the requirements for Georgia State University which is 480) btw i scored fairly well on the math but I’ll look to get 700 this time🤷🏽♂️
my son got 1200 something without study and then reached 1300 with 1-2 weeks of study he is still getting only 1300 or 1350 in mock tests, he will appear in aAugust and October again, his gpa is 4, is there any chances of getting into a decent college with around 20 - 25 % acceptance rates?
I took the sat for the first time in October with a sizable amount of prep and got a 1520. 780 Math 740 Reading. Should I retake the sat? I haven’t done the essay yet. I’m worried that my score could go down.
Carter White You can pick and choose to send in only you best scores for the SAT. For example, if you have a higher math score on your first test, your highest readying/writing score on your second test, and then an essay on the third, your collage will only look at your highest score, even if they come from different tests.
@@harneybarney8156 unfortunately not, I think unc places a heavy emphasis on gpa over the sat but make sure to have good numbers on both. OOS acceptance rate is at the Ivy League level so best of luck
I got a 1440 on my first try while everyone around me has got at least a 1500+... So if anyone is kind enough to answer can you tell me if 1440 is a good score and should I take the test again? :__(((
Do u no what a percentile rank for 900, 902 would b back in Dec. 23, 1992? The score range and the percentile range also for them? Percentiles may hav changed. This is so u can tell colleges your interested in applying 2. Thanx.

To improve your sat reading score, do khan academy SAT practices for th writing section.

you got it. just keep studying. I started at 1340 too, but now I hit 1490, so you just need to work more on the math and reading sections. 👌

What was your study plan when you were about to take the SAT? For example: hrs spent on reading, writing & math, etc.
I covered that in depth on a how to study video. Please watch!

Clean video. I never understood the difference between the SAT and the ACT besides the grading scale?

I easily could get 1400+ if I studied like 3-4 months. But I always start studying in the 2 weeks prior to the test. Wish I was not like that.
