honestly playing passionately is something you either can or can not. Learning this piece is one thing, but making it your own is the hard part. I'm personally not a very emotional person, but I love to express myself through the piano and it's very easy for me to put a lot of emotion into a piece
So, that being said, arent you proud of yourself, your accomplishments, your heritage, your friends, you dont need to have talent or be something special, to be proud of yourself. People need to love themselves more, I'm sure everyone in your social circle would say the same, now have a nice day :D
Hey Kyle, I just wanted to say thank you. I know you get these type of comments a lot, but I really mean it. Many of themes you play, from Pokemon, Zelda, and various others, mean a whole lot to me personally. These games and melodies I attribute to making me part of what I am today. I had a horrible day today, but listening to this made me break down and cry. That's a good thing, I assure you. I've been stalking your channel for about two years now, and I can't tell you how many times I have listened to your pieces to help me get through some pretty bad things. I just want you to know you made a serious impact on my life. Thank you.
Thanks for letting me know my music helps that much, it's so great to hear these positive stories on TH-cam comments as opposed to hate, and keyboard warriors. My fans are the best :)

This is absolutely beautiful. You can hear how much emotion he put into the song. When he plays the lower notes with a forte and strength, but also when he plays the higher notes extremely light. Someone could learn this song perfectly but not play as well as this one.

N64 days... I’m 29 now, but I vividly remember watching my older brother play Zelda when it first released. At the time I didn’t care for adventure games, especially single player ones... but I watched as my brother played and continued on this journey to save a princess. All the dungeons, all the grass cut and rupees found, all the dialogue between characters, all the equipment collecting/bargaining, all the boss battles, all the MUSIC, but most of all... all the memories of watching my brother and I play together. Thank you Nintendo and thank you Link.
I always find myself coming back to this piece and I can’t believe this video is now 3 years old. It seems I’ve come back every year since and every time I come back it never sounds the same. I always pick up on more of the intricate things you do with each listen. I have never been so moved by a piece before to the point I will always remember it. I one day wish I could play this piece like you as well as play the difficulty of music you play and hopefully even compose my own music and show my family. And once I learn it, I’m going to come back again and show them this video and say “yep this is the guy who made this masterpiece” haha! I must say Kyle and I know you’ve heard it plenty of times but let me remind you, what you do is truly inspiring to me. For I am back once again and listened to this piece to soothe me through these rather difficult times. It’s seems that your music, even with every thing going on right now, makes me feel so much better. Thank you Kyle! :,)
On this peculiar one, I think you've absolutely outdone yourself in terms of musical sensitivity. I've been watching your videos for years and years now, loving your work. Sometimes though, I've caught myself thinking there might be a tiny wee bit too many arpegios here and then - although it was most of the time tasteful and fun! But this one? Simply perfect - borth virtuoso and chastened, elegant. You've put the emotions first, and damn does it work! Anyway, thank you. For all the chills
The Legend of Zelda is a great series, but in my opinion, it's people like you that just make it better. I had a shit day at work. Got covered in maggots working a labor intensive job in 90+F heat wearing a PPE suit. You cannot believe how bright you just made it. Thank you. To close my night with this is wonderful ❤
Still hearing after 4 years. Its so beautiful. Your passion and emotion behind every key youre playing is just astonishing. Combined with a great love for pianos and a big nostalgic memory to a game and a soundtrack that has influenced later generations of games, soundtracks and even people, you guys are not very likely to hear something more beautiful than this piece played by kyle
Listen, this is a beautiful orchestra-worthy performance, and the whole time I was looking out my window at 10:58 PM looking at the large evergreen tree against dark orange-ish sky and I suddenly had this feeling that even though I wasn't appreciating where the course of my life was going, and how I was becoming more and more of a depressed, unenthusiastic human being who hides in his room and always lies to his family that he's doing fine but he's actually mentally ripping his bloody hair out and wishing everything would just stop and let my body rest, this performance convinced me and reminded me that even though it may seem rough, I just have to hold on to something and sit the ride out and it will all be fine one day because everyone always tells me that I have limitless potential, and genuinely believe that I can do anything I can put my brilliant mind to. I remembered all the times that I heard about people with problems very similar to mine and ended up doing great things and just so happened to have the same hard times that I wound up with. I feel empowered, and I want to thank you for this.
I just cry and cry thinking of my father, when i had him in my life still…i miss him everydayhim. This song reminds me of my child hood playing the game abd being able to see him . Thank you brother
My heart cannot take this much emotion!!! Incredible Kyle, as always. I’m so glad when I read comments and know I’m not alone with this indescribable feeling for these songs. It’s like your heart shrinks and then fills up and then bursts!
I recently listened to this song on Spotify, and was blown away by it's magnificence... For some reason i got really emotional and even shed a couple tears whilst listening. This song is by far my favorite piano piece, but your amazing performance turned it into a true masterpiece. And you know a song is a masterpiece when it makes you cry and appreciate how beautiful life really is. Thank you for bringing this masterpiece into the world.
This song causes me to feel nostalgia that I don't even have. This feeling was only strengthened by the amazing personal expression that you showed during the performance. I don't have words to describe the feeling, which, for me, means it is perfect.
one of the most beautiful nostalgic pieces I've heard in a decade... thank you for the inspiration to pick the piano back up after a long time of hurt. I haven't cried to someone's music. in years. whether you see this or not, just thank you sir. Thank you.
I love how your doing it in a Rachmaninoff kind of way. That B-flat in the bass and the way you resolve it is just fantastic and gives it that tension that rachmaninoff and chopin are so famous for. Absolutely marvelous!
Kyle, I have watched you develop into an incredible pianist for the past 10 years now. I still remember seeing you cover of passion when it was only 300k views or so and you amazed me. THIS cover gives me chills it's so beautiful. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm such a fan.
This song always puts my mind at ease. Whether it be after a stressful day, or while studying for an upcoming test, this song is always there. The beautiful performances and nostalgic feeling that comes with every piece, it can't be replaced. This is evidently the most wonderful thing I have ever been blessed to hear, and I would love to simply say: thank you. Your music and gotten me through so much, and if I could be HALF as good as you at the piano, I would be very happy and proud of myself. Stay strong... stay determined...
Holy shit ive never felt such a feeling before... what is that called??! The first half of the song was really beautiful but in the second half something clicked, everytime you hit the deep chords with such an emotional intensity i could feel my heart crack more and more each time. Im sitting here , having water in my eyes and everytime that deep chord hit it was like waves... like a battering ram knocked at my heart. Truly amazing, thank you.
not only do you play with extreme accuracy but one can physically feel the amount of emotion you convey through those keys. thank you so much for bringing this into the world
I never really got into the Zelda games, yet this song still hits me hard in the nostalgic gut. For some reason it makes me think of a day in middle school i stayed home from school for a doctors appointment, and it started snowing, and my mom took me to the mall afterward and bought me animal crossing for GameCube lol. Idk why this song brought that memory up but it did lol.
Amazing amazing amazing. I really have no words to describe how incredibly taken i was watching this. Thank you for sharing this, It put a big a smile on my face :]
Kyle, I've been following you for a what feels like a while now and you never cease to amaze me with your playing. Even after so long it's so refreshing and breathtaking. Truly incredible

Kyle,
I have watched you develop into an incredible pianist for the past 10 years now.
You’ve turned a masterpiece into a story
This is the most beautiful thing I've heard in a really long time. Thank you. I have legitimate tears in my eyes.
This made me cry. I love this song sm and you played it beautiful.

Petition for him to remake the full thing, not just the shortened version he does in his streams, as this is possibly one of his greatest songs and evident by the comments, is impactful to so many people, myself included.
Perhaps the most passionate performance I've ever seen. This brought me to tears, thank you.
