I went for a job interview at Ocado as a robotics mechanic, although I had no idea about robotics or mechanics.. to make things worse I was severely hungover.. the guy who interviewed me sussed me out straight away as a little blagger but still kept me there for an hour, handing me random robotics parts and asking me what they were just listening to my nonsense responses ... "hmmm yeah that's a power generator motor chip... I think" ... I'd have got up and left but i didn't want to let my recruiter down... safe to say I never got that job and the factory ended up burning down a year later... funny old life

My worst job interview was for the Royal Bank of Scotland. It was 2010 and I was desperate for a job of any kind after leaving university, and when I researched the bank to prepare for the interview all I could find were pages of damning reports about how RBS destroyed the economy and was probably responsible for the death of your beloved pet as well.
First question the interviewer asked? "So what do you know about the bank and what we do?".
      Ummm...
Funnily enough, 7 years later I did end up taking on a senior role with them and it was great.

His CV was deliberately complex, long and hard to understand because he thinks highlighting his potential future boss' ignorance will make him seem clever. The clever thing to do would be to scrap his CV and make a more concise one, not 6 pages long, full of jargon, with his picture on. This guy needs to learn humility.
This is the problem nowadays. It's all style over substance, weak employers are brainwashed and led to believe that confidence trumps ability. All you have to do is impress an employer with your confidence and they employ you on a hunch. Become best mates. Then act surprised when the employee delegates most of his duties, barely does any work, is completely inept other than the ability to take shit from his bosses and basically steals a 6 figure income. At least they support the same football team though.
