Of course Claude isn't going to feel sorry for them because they come in claiming to be the best thing since sliced bread & throughout the process they are going to get their egos severely crushed throughout the process & its what they need to be take off their high-horses & brought back into the real world
Claude is right about his observations in the interviews But I find his demeanor rude, condescending and unprofessional... In truth it's probably a persona for the television drama...
He probably would be if he were a businessman. He's never actually started one up and owned it, which is fine. However, he seems to be very good at what he does which is finding flaws and testing people and theories.
