I’m glad you said: “Only for temporary repairs”. I used maybe 4 Dressers in my 40 years of plumbing back when. I always was ADAMANT w/the homeowner that they commit to a re-pipe. Dressers are band-aids. Always afraid they’d squirt off.
Nice repair!! We always use a pressure block (brick). Sometimes the pressure will build up and push that nipple out. Happened to me up in the palisades.
