- Hey everyone! 🐾
I wanted to share with you guys how to safely dye your dog's hair pink - this is completely chemical free and 100% naturally sourced.
It will not harm the dog in any way, and intended as a day time make over for fun and intended to be washed out by the end of the day or after a couple of hours.
My white Pomeranian Mochi will be our model, we'll be coloring his tail pretty PINK! And then, we are going to show it off at the dog park! Come along with us! 🐩

They also make pet dyes, no harmful chemicals that would burn them. They last longer and are more vibrant.
I will be using beet juice tho, we don't want something too permanent 😂

Ooh you should get him a harness. Collars can be harsh on their throats and many Poms have some degree of tracheal collapse at some point in their lives

just did it with red beet juice! it worked really well, my poodle mix was chill about it BUT what i wasnt expecting was the texture. The sugar on the beets made the hair feel like it was hairsprayed (just a bit).
I'm thinking about trying hibiscus flower next time since it has no sugar and is also antibacterial, does anyone have any recomendation against using that?

I got pomeranian too but to dye the tail color is that safe and it stay like that forever that is different if it’s safe then that would be really cool just like on human hair but on the dog tail and it is a pink color 😳😵
My samoyed puppy would NEVER sit for that 😂 Very cute though. Ive also heard you can use beet juice!

Why can't you leave it in for longer? I was thinking of trying those dog dyes and this seems much safer
Well it being a fruit and sugary isn’t a good idea to leave around so long coz it will attract bacteria and bugs, just like leaving a cut open fruit on the counter. It’s not sticky to the touch on anything after application but it’s just better to let it be like a day time make up for an outing :)
@@HarpistinJapan ah gotcha. I thought it actually stained the fur, as in it would stillbe pink when it rinsed out. I know people use it as a natural dye

what fruit should i use for blue fur?
Blueberries and Blackberries are probably the closest to blue you will be able to get without using food grade dyes.
Yeh blackberry would be closest but still won’t have that much concentration. Would be more purply.

Can you blend the fruit?
Blending it would be too “pulpy”, would get stuck And become clumpy

Yeh it might be too chunky after blending but maybe ok if strained with a really fine strainer!

Didn’t try to leave it in more than a day, better to wash it off at the end of the day :) but it stayed very well during the day
