this is a bit of a instructional video on how to do hair dye on a maltipoo. This dog is very good and used to getting this procedure done. Hes perfect for the video, not to mention really cute.I hope you enjoy watching. I had lots of fun making this video.

@@faatima-4950 As a dog groomer we typically refer to our dogs as our personal dogs. To clarify I’m not talking about a clients dog. Otherwise, I’d say: going to do this on a client’s dog. Figured they would know what I’m saying.

I recently, after 10 years of grooming, did my first dye job😊 my client wanted pink ears and tail, the color was like traveling everywhere 😅 but she came out beautiful 😍 the owner know wants zebra stripes...any advice?❤ you did an excellent job🐩

Great detailed video - appreciate that you explained how to do a blue pastel shade, very attractive! Wondering if you put each ear into a hole cut into the bottom (closed end) of a sandwich baggie first, to protect the surrounding facial hair from excess color, before you dye ears, would work? Great job, enjoyed watching!!
Yeah my dog does not sit this still lol but smart that you do it before the groom I didn't think of that. I'm wondering what kind of brush you're using I might have missed it if you said it but if you could link that it would be awesome. I tried foam brushes and did not like them much.
Also a thought for anyone else reading this that my husband came up with was cutting holes in a sock (cut the tube part off to make a homemade happy hoodie) and pulling their ears through. I wish he would have given me the idea before I used only foil and the dog immediately shook the foil right off 🙈
my friend uses press and seal on dog around neck so if dog shakes ears it doesn't go onto dog

I love Crazy Liberty I've done my dog and clients dog with their stuff and it always turns out great (smells soooo good too and the scent lasts forever). Amazon it's pretty cheap and lasts a long time too. Usually doesn't fade for a while and even then pretty much has to grow or be cut out.

Do you have any experience with an airbrush machine? If so is there a specific one you recommended? I have a client asking for cheetah print and things like that and it’s just too tedious to do with a brush. I do ears and tails and things like this with the brush but full body spots is just too much.

I want to soo much but I seen a video on a dog ear it fell off bc it had a allergic reaction and it had chemical burns (the groomer left the bleach and die in for 45 min 😩💔)

I tried to dye the white stripes on a skunk pelt, and the dye would not adhere to the hair at all! It completely washed out!
