The First TMNT movie is a classic masterpiece.
Agreed. Better than Citizen Kane IMO
Best line to use in real life, “Wise men say, 'Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.” Still holds up today 😂😂
yup so does pizza dude got 30 seconds
And dam
Ninja kick the damn rabbit!
I still use that "Wise men say" line today, it helps me gauge the age range of the people I'm around :P
do pizza places still give you a discount for late pizza somewhere? they don't do that where i live
The original TMNT film will forever be the best TMNT movie. It remains to this day as my favorite childhood movie.
Get them all back together for another movie! Real suits, minimum CG, done in the style of the original. Perfection.
Try no CGI meatball 🧆
@@Mr.EastCoast-oj2xk I think some CG is OK, to improve facial expressions etc. Lamb chop
Yah right
Almost all of them said they would never wear those suits again.
Old age Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Explain to me how they would wear those suits and still perform all the martial arts like they did in their young age
OG April would still get it
Judith Hoag is still Soo fine!
I wish Elias Koteas was there as well
I know right. We need Casey Jones. 👍
He’d be just as annoyed as I was watching this.
@@kamdan2011why
@@lazysod3 Constant mic feedback and bored members on the panels.
The 1st TMNT movie was a masterpiece!!! Plz make a reunion movie!!!
TMNT and TMNT 2 secret of the ooze was the greatest 2 movies ever for the turtle's franchise I wish they would have used the same costumes and effects in the newer TMNT movies instead of what they used. Please make a few more like TMNT and TMNT secret of the ooze.❤
Honestly. The greatest piece of film history and by far my favorite was Raphael in the bathtub. It worked on so many levels.
When the 4 turtles come through the door behind keno when he’s in trouble, and they all jump and it freezes with the title card and music amps up.. it still gets me hyped until today. lol
I was only two-years-old when I saw that and I remember every kid in the audience going nuts when that happened. They knew how to play up on our anticipation.
That Robin Williams story is incredible.
A true nerd❤
I remember my dad taking me to see these movies.
My number one favorite movie from childhood
This guys made my early childhood
Amazing & Legendary Cast Of One Of The Greatest Action Adventure Franchises Ever Made ✊👍
Bring out new TMNT movies 90's inspired vibes. I love these guys. I have the "TMNT blu-ray 90's collection. I love TMNT.
Both April's. Awesome
yeah but tmnt 2 april couldn't shaddap and give others more opportunity to talk lol.
@@michaelfriesen7598I agree. April No.2 honestly feels a BIT as if she’s on something, when talking and dragging points out, lol.. But hey, she looks good 😂
she so was HIGH lol
Ernie was super disrespectful, yawning, staring at his phone and not talking. Super cool yo
yep, kinda douchey.
I think he was totally fine.
He doesn't look happy to be there at all.
Im not liking it. He's not super invested in it. Obviously he needs to be somewhere else
I watched them hundreds of time on VHS.
I'm old af and still watch the first one a couple times a year. Great flick.
I have the VHS' and watch them at least once a year.
I am 42 and still watch them, and play the video games. I also remember seeing the 1st movie at the movies as a kid, and playing with my friends on the arcade game back in the day. Great memories, best franchise ever.
I remember I waited in line for 4 hours to see the original movie. This brought back so many great memories. The first and second movie are a masterpiece.
Ernie Reyes jr. was savage in Side Kicks
What I love about the Turtles it how it makes itself relevant for every generation. I was into the '87 cartoon and the '90s film.
My eldest two kids were into the 2012 series and had loads of figures.
My youngest son loves the Mutant Mayhem film and has watched the '90s movies more than me!
💚TMNT💚 i remember watching teenage mutant ninha turtles with my mother at cosmopoliton twin cinemas woden (canberra, australia) 1990! ❤
Still one of my favorite movies growing up. Much better than the the recent movies
The first tmnt film is one of my all time favorite films. Top 5. I still watch it to this day
A lot of really hardwork to make a well deserved wonderfully beloved awesome movies. . . 🎉🎉🎉 . ✨️💐Happy Birthday! "Judith Hoag!😃🎉✨️🙌
i vaguely remembering watching the first tmnt in theaters...my mom took me and she told me i was so excited...i was 3 yrs old then and still a fan today
Nice interview. Cool to see the cast there! They need a new sound person. lol
I remember seeing these movies in theaters, such a big part of my childhood.
They should reunite and make a sequel: Middle-Age Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Great panel and its wonderful to see the original cast of the tmnt 1990 film, the original trilogy and the 80s tmnt cartoon was got me into tmnt in the 1990s.
This is great to get all them
back together again. Glad they are doing conventions.
One of my favorite movies growing up.
Elias "Casey Jones" Koteas was in a new trailer I saw (A24 film? Mother and Daughter film), so he was possibly shooting the last bits of that as an elder.
Am I the only one that feels like Paige is high?
Her and Ernie.
Adderall
I was thinking the same thing.
Totally.
defs.
April 2 definitely took a big ol bong rip before going out there
Definitely a handful of screws loose if she didn't take that rip 😅😂
Yup 😂
The first 2 movies are the best out of anything TMNT related in 30 whatever years. Minus the early 2000s show.
Oh this is awesome.
Best Splinter voice. Waiting for 4K UHD releases!!!
I just wanna hear a “DAMN”
Everyone did a phenomenal job in the original turtles movies
Thank you
Delightful!
Great to see whole cast.
I remember seeing it in theatres with my dad.
First time I've seen both goregous Aprils together. Even tho they're far apart lol 💛💛💛
I'm glad Kevin Clash made it.
Also, thank goodness Corey Feldman isnt there. Also, Ernie Reyes Jr. is being a straight up Rock Star!😂
Wow, this is fresh. I thought for a bit this was recorded in like 2005 or something until Leif Tilden mentions cgi/tennis balls at 18:25
That was Robbie Rist (Michelangelo's VA).
The original TMNT movie was awesome! It had that perfect balance of humor and being dark at the same time. The 2nd one, although not as good as the first was still a classic. Glad to see the cast from both films. This was a big part of my childhood. Wish Toshiro Obata (Tatsu) and Elias Koteas (KC Jones) were here too.
Wow crazy today is what I learned that the guy that played Elmo also played Splinter I did not know that😮
Kevin Clash. He is involved in a lot of Jim Henson things.
Didn't he get in trouble years back? Pretty sure he was fired from playing Elmo.
@charlesmaclellan8124 I'm not sure of the full details but I do know he doesn't do Elmo anymore but he still works on other Henson projects.
@@charlesmaclellan8124 Yes, apparently he was accused of touching little kids but he denied the allegations.
Hate to ask, but is Paige okay? She does not look okay here. Had to be helped to her seat and seemed very off when she spoke.
The first and second movies were a masterpiece. Would have been nice if Elias Koteas who is Casey jones could have been in this panel. Also , vanilla ice in part two was bonkers 😅 go ninja go ninja go classic
I remember watching cartoons from the 1980s it became very popular and made into movies
Did Rob Paulsen voice one of the turtles in the cartoon or the movie cause I always get those two mixed up
Rob was in two of the cartoons.
@@rtiz121 Rob voiced both Raph and Donatello in the animated series
@rtiz121 But he voiced those characters in two different animated series. And it was super cool when they met. "You sound like me!"
Brian tochi from revenge of the nerds and police academy did the voice of Leonardo.
Imagine if Sam Rockwell showed up? lol “regular or menthol?”
The reverb is driving me nuts. That many mics have to be hard to anticipate
Yeah, I did my best with the feed I got. Wasn't ideal.
@@FandomSpotlite not your fault. Fun to see them all together on this panel. Brings back memories
I soooo have a crush on the Aprils still 🤩
12:57 "I like to do a little chucking every now and then." 😆
I would have liked to see Raph in his head-to-toe solid black suit from the early comics
Would have been funny if they did that and just painted a spare Raph costume with shiny black paint.
Great movie of all time.
As a kid, I loved Mikey. As an adult, I loved Raph. Nearing my 40s now, I love Leo. I'm starting to bet in my elderly age, Donatello will be next.
Is Paige Turco alright?? or maybe had a couple shots before the stage?
I was thinking that too! She seemed kinda off and it was cringey lol
100% 😂
Almost 35 years ago when, teenage mutant ninja 🥷🏻 turtles 🐢 movie came out in 1990.
Turtles 1 is to Turtles 2 as Conan 1 is to Conan 2.
The studio kid-i-ified the formula, which didn't make it bad, but made it not as good.
80's franchises sometimes tended towards kidification; even Rambo had a cartoon.
Here's hoping for another grungy, "darker" turtles like the first, one day.
I get that, but there’s also something about making another copy or even having a similar style as what you already did that might not be as satisfying. If anything it just amplifies the original in an even higher regard.
Similar thing happened also with Ghostbusters 1 Vs 2, and Batman '89 Vs Returns; where the originals were a bit darker, and the sequel was made more family-friendly (especially TMNT2 indeed). However, back then, I genuinely enjoyed both TMNT movies almost equally. As a kid back then I didn't have the critical analyzing capacity than I have today and so I simply enjoyed my beloved TMNTs on the screen and never quite realized - at the time - that the first one was considerably darker than the sequel, because I was just too busy having fun watching them both.
It took a couple extra years when I finally rented TMNT3 on VHS when I figured out pretty much early on in the movie that something wasn't right, it looked cheaper, the costumes were weird, movements were stiff, etc. The Turtles' personality was still there (mostly), the actors did the best they could with the given script (and the overall budget), but yeah, TMNT1 and 2 for me are both all time classics.
@@lyrand6408 Well put. 👍
Every time people watch this movie and the sequel, they buy a pizza and watch this movie and the sequel.
Can we get the home re-release with the deleted scenes? Extended version.
Splinter is also the hardest one to find. Mainly because the turtles make themselves noticeable all the time.
Where is Vanilla Ice? " Go ninja, go ninja go."
I have seen Ernie Reyes Jr help train Nate Diaz for some of his fights in UFC
Both Aprils still babe-a -licous
I wish we could get another TMNT like this one more t but i know it will never happen again
Was Corey Feldman too busy? Or was he deliberately left off the invite list? 😂
Probably the latter. But he is going on tour with Limp Bizkit right away.
Hero's In The HalfShell
i love that robin williams story
Surprised Elias Koteas (Casey Jones) wasn't in this panel.
I'm sad Elias Koteas isn't part of this panel, but I'm so so so so soooooo glad that Cory Feldman is also not part of this panel.
I felt like 9
lol...my grandmother also called them the "ninjin" turtles
It was Raepheal yelling out of the window.
Cool
my childhood
Totally bodacious indeed!!!
Cowabunga Dudes 🍕
La La La La La La Splinters World!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Wasn't Corey the voice actor for Donnie
It's too bad that Corey Feldman is not present. He voiced Donatello even though Ernie was in the costume.
Does anyone else hear the feedback from the mics?
Where are the two biggest stars, Vanilla Ice and Corey Feldman!!!!!
April still looks good.
Those suits were heavy AF plus you would need to get back Corey Feldman
Awesome interview, but why didnt Ernie Reyes Jr get any question, thats sad.
I got the impression his goal was to speak as little as he could. lol
Please have these actors in the last ronin of possible is something shape of form as an honor to the first two movies
"Ohh. A fellow chucker, eh?"
My Family's Ninja Pizza is Pepperoni with a Ice cream Sandwich on Top it's so good
never realized that the cast changed between movies.
I didn’t either until I saw 3C Films’ vid
I never knew until now
Did Ernie and Paige have another appointment?
Uh, where's Feldman?
Kevin clash let’s go ! Is he ok with ppl now I don’t know the deal but I liked him
Just watched their entrances. Is Paige Turco alright?
Looks unsteady on her feet, doesn't she.
Former ballerina injury flaring up?
Then there was the time when she had to cancel at the London Film & Comic Con back in 2018 which was never explained.
Hmm...
@@Radeo I thought maybe she had gone blind or something.
Hope she's ok!
