"This was supposed to be a display gun but I didn't end up buying my house so now it just sits there." Well, I've never heard of somebody buying an entire home just to display a Rossi rifle but to each their own I suppose 🤷
I just tested mine yesterday and it ran flawlessly. I fed it cci standard ammo and I shot 400 rounds, no issues whatsoever. I'm glad mine turned out fine
Yes I know I shot a lever before and if you look them up a lot of people had the same issue with cracked internals and I looked into it I think it’s bend that’s why it’s not going through
If the frame is cracked at the chamber like you said you should send it back to Rossi. I have never had a problem with mine. It’s a simple gun to break down it took me only 15 minutes to disassemble and add a large loop lever and reassemble. You have a 1 year warranty with Rossi from date of purchase. You only have to call them or email them. $400 is $400 you paid for a working rifle if it’s broke send it back, they will probably just send you a new gun, it might take a few weeks but that’s better than a cracked frame. Safety first if you or someone you know gets hurt and you knowingly are shooting a rifle with a cracked chamber that’s on you Not Rossi.

Have you tried different ammo?? What do you mean it's cracked?? You keep doing a double short stroke... It should be one quick fluid motion
