So I was kinda bullied too, the bully would seize my food not just my food some other students too, and make us sit and watch her eat our food, then she will make fun of whose food isn't sweet and how bad a cook the persons' mum is. I would always beg my mum not to give me food to go to school, just so that the bully would avoid me, but this just pissed off the bully more and she would shove, poke me and would just lash out. To break free, another classmate advised me to start behaving like a tomboy /agbero, and it worked like magic. When the bully saw madness omo, she avoided me. Since then, I have just stuck to being a tomboy😅😅😅. I later had a chat with this bully while I was in UNI but she didn't think what she did then was bullying, in her words she was playing with us😮, I remember another of my classmate, she was so scared of the bully that she would always cry at the school gate after her dad dropped her, and would be scared to go inside the school and even scared of break time the most. Point is many of these bullies do not even recognise how traumatising their actions are. Thus it's pertinent that schools carry on sufficient orientation from a young age, parents too should be observant, as much as you want to train a self defensive child you might be given them an opportunity to bully others, from a young age observe how your child plays with other kids, this can provide insight on what can be corrected or worked on. Well parenting isn't easy that's why we beg Jehovah to help us when our arms are weak. Nice one 🎉
