Oscars are a sham now. Just gonna go out and say it. Look at the movies that are nominated. It's either fluff Hollywood pics or biopics. You'll never have a year where genuine greats like No Country for Old Men and There Wll Be Blood, two heavy character driven films that have wide audience appeal, are nominated and appreciated. These heavy character dramas are unfortunately a dying breed in Hollywood storytelling. It's a shame tbh...
usernamunavailiable The pieces look like they're in place. The story, Hugh Jackman's last performance as this Wolverine, the supporting actors, and the role this movie's going to play in the X-Men movie universe all look like positives so far. It's just a matter of how Fox handles the movie.

I literally can't stop myself from coming back to this trailer every once in a while, six years later and it still slaps. Truly one of the greatest trailers and cbm of all time
No offense to MCU and DCEU but this is the best superheroes movie I have ever watched right next to The dark knight trilogy , the avengers , iron man , winter soldier, civil war , doctor strange , days of future past and deadpool.
the realest character ever seen in marvel. the other characters in superhero movies are happy looking badasses but logan is real. the emotion, the depression, the old age, the loneliness all just make him seem like a real person. 10/10 am going to watch over and over again
I just saw the movie. It was completely different than the other x-men movies. It was more emotional and 'realistic' I can say. Just like a true story. I loved it. The little girl was awesome and Logan was a real hero!
Logan is a good movie, no doubt about it but does it deserve an Oscar? imo nope, if we take it in its bare bones Logan is just a cookie cutter superhero action movie with some drama elements in it, sure it has its moments but imo its not worthy enough to be categorized with some of the greatest films in Oscars history.
Jon Foster NIN said themselves that the song became Cash’s as soon as he did his rendition. He gave it more meaning beyond a life of drugs. But of course credit for the powerful lyrics
I think both versions hold their own, different and unique meanings. NIN is about drug abuse, Johnny Cash is about being elderly. Credit is due to NIN, but I wouldn't steer someone to NIN's version if they were asking the origin of the audio of the trailer.
I still can’t believe anything about this movie. I can’t believe it got made. I can’t believe they released it with this title, even though it’s perfect. I can’t believe how good it is. Every time I watch it, I forget just how good it is. I can’t believe how good this trailer is. Chills even after all this time.
Charles, "She needs our help." Logan, "Someone will come along." Charles, "Someone has come along." I don't care if it's a mash-up of dialogue from the movie. Those 3 lines hit.
ImBsal I know right, I felt so sad Hugh Jackman is all gray and old and bearded up, they really made it feel like its an end of the era with this whole trailer

This trailer was so good that it made me buy all of the major xmen films (despite not having seen a single one beforehand) just so that I could fully understand this film when I finally saw it in cinemas. It was SO worth it. Thanks to the person/people who made this trailer for giving me a reason to watch the best superhero series of all time.
LordMichaelRahl Better. It needs an Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, & Best Director
Movie Follower Actually it will be possible because for one: this isn't a typical superhero movies, besides similar movies like Mad Max: Fury Road and The Revanent have been nomimated for Academy Awards in the past
1:13 that broken smiles Charles gives puts a pain in my chest. He’s been through so much trying to do good all his life, and look where it all lead to. It’s so heart breaking.
I forgot which movie, I think it was X2, where Magneto says to a mutant who wanted to kill Charles was "that man has done more than you'll ever know for mutants", even with Erik's disagreement with Xaviers' approach there is still so much respect towards Charles' strength in character to do good.
I can’t even watch the trailer without crying let alone the movie, honestly if I gain nothing else in this life more than the gift of this piece of art, I can happily rest in peace when the time comes knowing I had the privilege of witnessing this
You have to understand that Logan is physically 197 when this film takes place. But Logan is mentally 247 since he went back in time and experienced another 50 years of life. No wonder why he is dying even for him. Also this is the best trailer in the history of movie trailers.
@@The-Cole-Train Logan’s mind went back to the 70s and he changed the time line. Then his mind went back but experienced the new 50 years + the original time line.
A movie like this will be good because like Dark Knight, it doesn't feel like a superhero movie. Dark Knight felt like a crime thriller. Even Winter Soldier did the same , it felt like a Jason Bourne-type movie
I love the new TH-cam tool that shows where this has been replayed the most collectively, I'm imaging most of us getting goosebumps seeing this section of the trailer each and every time.
Both had sadly disappointing endings though. DK because the theme was the destructive power of a well intentioned lie, and the “happily ever after” was just another lie. Logan because of the final fight scene. Can’t believe they brought back the adamantium bullet nonsense. 🤦♂️
Totally agree. Logan should have been nominated for best picture. Jackman, Stuart, and the girl who played Laura should have gotten acting nominations.
I just watched it again and I can recall the feeling of taking care of an old adult, being tired and sick of it all. Hugh did portrayed all of this feelings and the old man Logan in such an incredible way. My deepest respect for this performance.
sonic the hedgehog If there are superhero movies like this Guardians of the Galaxy - Pulp Fiction Black Panther - Braveheart Doctor Strange - The Matrix

This movie is so hard to watch for me. This Wolverine was literally there since i was a baby, no joke. I grew up with this Wolverine. This movie in my opinion is flawless. As flawless as a movie can be, this trailer perfectly captures the movie’s tone as well which is very important. Looking back, I wouldnt change a thing. For 17 years, i always had a constant, and it was Wolverine. God bless this movie and everyone who was a part of it
There’s a scene I remember as a kid - in the old x men movies where Logan gets shot in the head and the bullet falls out moments later. Meanwhile here he had to squeeze out the lead the car strippers shot and it looked so painful. Watching him age hurt in the best way.
Pietro D'Angelo It has nothing to do with that. They can't do the original Old ?an Logan-story, so they are borrowing elements from that, and X-23's Origin-story, while they are mashing them together with some new elements.
So I've seen the movie.. I don't think I've ever felt so overwhelmed, emotional-exhausted and stunned after watching a comic book movie. This movie was almost to the level of being flawless. It did not feel like a comic book/X-Men movie at all. It was so different. The tone was different. It was unique, it was special and it was effective. Hands down to the cast, especially the performances of X-23, Charles Xavier and obviously Logan. All of them were amazing! X-23 is so badass! I'm so happy how the movie was made and ended the characters of Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. Thank you for playing Wolverine and Professor X! I recommend to all of you to watch it! This is the one.
it's rediculous, I was crying on parts that wasn't even intended to be sad. I cried when they were eating at the dinner table- when everyone was so happy. this, because the spoilers were leaked to me.
Came here just to watch the trailer again, this movie still gets me every time. I need to watch it again. Not just one of the best marvel films, one of the best films ever.
On a scale of 1 to shady, I give this comment a "suspicious email claiming you can claim an inheritance of millions of dollars." Where do I go to give you my SIN number?
Abubakr Rafique Logan may be Hugh Jackman's final hurrah as Wolverine, but the actor has revealed the one thing that may have convinced him to keep on playing the popular X-Men character. While promoting the film, Jackman stated that if there had been an opportunity for the X-Men franchise to crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he may have considered staying on for a few more films.
Logan was truly one of the best movie going experiences I have ever had. The moment when fake Logan stabbed Professor X in the chest, I literally froze for a good 5 minutes. The emotions of everyone in the cinema could be felt. There was a unanimous gasp, mixed with more than a few screams. I was clenching my fists at the end, trying so hard not to cry. Cannot remember the last time a movie had that effect on me. To me this is much MUCH better than the dark knight.

I don't know man. I laughed pretty hard when Xavier walked up the steps and grunted weirdly off screen. It wasn't the right reasons but I found that pretty enjoyable. 😂
You will believe a man who can walk, playing a man who can't walk, is having trouble not walking. Lol
I thought there was A Little hair
Its a shame that this movie didn't get any Oscars and joker got more than one. I don't have problem with the joker movie but this movie is better in every aspect. Also joker and Logan were represented in different Oscars but still Logan deserved to win in more than one category.
Best thing is that doesn't feel like a superhero movie
Marin Lepur ohhhhhh yheeeeaaaaa!!!!
true
Marin Lepur exactly
The worst thing? It's still Fox. Caliban? Really?
Yeah, I got an almost Interstellar-like vibe from it.
The fact Hugh Jackman didn’t get nominated for an Oscar for his performance in this film is disappointing.
Same with Patrick Stewart.
Everyone in this movie deserved an Oscar it made it so real
Oscars are a sham now. Just gonna go out and say it. Look at the movies that are nominated. It's either fluff Hollywood pics or biopics. You'll never have a year where genuine greats like No Country for Old Men and There Wll Be Blood, two heavy character driven films that have wide audience appeal, are nominated and appreciated. These heavy character dramas are unfortunately a dying breed in Hollywood storytelling. It's a shame tbh...
The Oscars are a joke, they'll pick the most boring movies and unheard of movies as nominations
itsSaucyJohn there unheard because you only watch blockbusters
cant believe this was 7 years ago. wtf man. i am getting old
Honestly, this could end up being one of the best superhero movies ever made.
or not.
usernamunavailiable The pieces look like they're in place. The story, Hugh Jackman's last performance as this Wolverine, the supporting actors, and the role this movie's going to play in the X-Men movie universe all look like positives so far. It's just a matter of how Fox handles the movie.
dcanemone43 ...Anticipting movies ruins our expectations for the most part
The wolverine movies have been forgettable so far... doesn't look like this one will buck the trend...
but hey, go on and fanboy it if it makes you happy
Rhig Ganomie I'm not being a fanboy, I just think the tone of this trailer makes the movie seem really unique.
johnny cash makes this trailer 10 times more badass
Spiffey Well your not wrong
Old man Cash sings for old man Logan
👌🏼👌🏼
Ah ah... not just Johnny Cash, but his cover of "Hurt". A perfect fit I think.
Spiffey Jonny cash logan
Is anyone else still watching the trailer after seeing the movie?
I am
JamesAFK yea I just had to see it again and I feel like I’m tearing up..
It was so good 😪
Best trailer ever
yes
This, along with the Joker, are my favorite trailers
I literally can't stop myself from coming back to this trailer every once in a while, six years later and it still slaps.
Truly one of the greatest trailers and cbm of all time
Logan’s back, now. The end of this film was just a scare.
Not the same Logan.

"So , this is what it feels like".
No offense to MCU and DCEU but this is the best superheroes movie I have ever watched right next to The dark knight trilogy , the avengers , iron man , winter soldier, civil war , doctor strange , days of future past and deadpool.
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :'(
lau tim hom :(
lau tim hom hello darkness my old friend

the realest character ever seen in marvel. the other characters in superhero movies are happy looking badasses but logan is real. the emotion, the depression, the old age, the loneliness all just make him seem like a real person. 10/10 am going to watch over and over again
Frank castle/punisher is also pretty realistic, hope the show does him justice
That's why Ang Lee's Hulk is so underrated!
Ya Boi Do you think Netflix did Frank Castle Justice? I would say so.
Professional Nihilist Yeah I would say so I actually watched the 13 episodes straight with no break it was that good!
Let's not forget about Xavier...
I just saw the movie. It was completely different than the other x-men movies. It was more emotional and 'realistic' I can say. Just like a true story. I loved it. The little girl was awesome and Logan was a real hero!
It was heart break. Literally like every other scene ripped my heart of and some many lovable characters. I feel like the bad guys got killed easy
I am still pissed that film didn't get oscar and hugh Jackman.
JohnWick79 Too good for Oscar anyways.
So am i
SEE MY LATES NOTES
@@user-ml5tn3en1y The sad truth is comic book movies are rarely nominated for their acting roles
Did anybody else feel devasted as soon as the movie ended (especially if u knew beforehand that there was no after-credits scene) for literal days?
This movie itself deserves an Oscar. Hell, even the trailer deserves an Oscar.
SpeedForceNation the trailer itself is an Oscar
you definitely won't hear that from flash on daily basis
SpeedForceNation Fuck off Grant Gustin dice raider
SpeedForceNation Logan should have won. Gary oldman did an awful hack job in the last hour
"It wasn't me Charles, It wasn't' me"
:´(
Raymond You I wish Charles knew it wasn't him.
McUniqueKiller2_ YT Of course he knew, he's not stupid.
😞😞😞😭😭😭😭
Charles!😭
Coming back to watch this masterpiece again after seeing Deadpool & Wolverine
I always get very emotional, watching this movie. It feels like saying goodbye to an old friend.
I know right
The editor of this trailer alone deserves an award! Magnificent film of the franchise but this, I have to say👌
Came for the trailer stayed for the song
Infernus I love it too, what’s it called?
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Adham Rataba NINE INCH NAILS DAMNIT GIVE CREDIT WHERE ITS DUE
1:33 "Logan, you still have time" CHILLS EVERY TIME!
Charles, "She needs our help."
Logan, "Someone will come along."
Charles, "Someone has come along."
I don't care if it's a mash-up of dialogue from the movie. Those 3 lines hit.
The Man has come around.
It's a good message. Despite our own situations, we always have the choice to help someone else.
I was in depression 2 years ago. When this came out, it helped me a lot in my recovery. I'm glad that I got to watch it as a Hugh Jackman fan.
I was in the same way..
I'm surprised it healed your depression.... It was supposed to make it worst due to Logan dying. ;(
hope you're better dude! praying for you
That cured your depression LMAO?
Do you watch titanic to feel better and the hangover to cry in front of a movie? xD
same here. I think I could get over lots of things thanks to this movie. I felt it was relatable for me in many ways.
Most insane goosebumps a trailer has ever given me.
Johnny Cash's Hurt make this trailer such a heart touching and meaningful, beyond words..
ImBsal I would rather the original Nine Inch Nails one.
I love Nine Inch Nails but even Trent Reznor would agree this one fits better.
ImBsal I know right, I felt so sad Hugh Jackman is all gray and old and bearded up, they really made it feel like its an end of the era with this whole trailer
I Know Johnny cash is my favorite artist
Johnny Cash's version is much better.
He owned this cover.
Amazing trailer for an amazing movie.
Remus Right up there with The Avengers trailer and Deathly Hallows Part 2
I love 20th Century Fox so much, I watched a lot of their fantastic movies.

@@liltree8382 not even an X-Men film imo, it's just about Logan/Wolverine himself.

You said it the best superhero
Let’s agree to disagree...
A few things.
1. Logan needs an Oscar. One of the best superhero movies ever.
2. Hugh Jackman, THANK YOU. For everything.
3. I'm crying.
LordMichaelRahl Better. It needs an Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, & Best Director
LordMichaelRahl This comment is a fact not an opinion but a FACT!
LordMichaelRahl so does dafne keen (X-23)
Ameen Ouassaddine That's not going to happen, that's impossible.
I cried because of it

Thought about beards and Logan popped in my head
Really good trailer/movie
because of how good this movie is and because of how emotional and how it ends the mutants...
Me rn, after watching all X-men movies
You have to understand that Logan is physically 197 when this film takes place. But Logan is mentally 247 since he went back in time and experienced another 50 years of life. No wonder why he is dying even for him. Also this is the best trailer in the history of movie trailers.
This should be top comment brother
What do you mean? When his consciousness went back in time, his mind didn’t stay there.
@@The-Cole-Train Logan’s mind went back to the 70s and he changed the time line. Then his mind went back but experienced the new 50 years + the original time line.
I'm still confused on this timeline
@@franciscomunoz8631 It's simple. Logan lives until Days of Future Past, changes the past by time traveling, then lives 50 more years.
A movie like this will be good because like Dark Knight, it doesn't feel like a superhero movie. Dark Knight felt like a crime thriller. Even Winter Soldier did the same , it felt like a Jason Bourne-type movie
THIS!!! i have a feeling it's gonna be AMAZING!..........i'm praying it does

Logan and The Dark Knight. Two greatest comic book films ever made.
The dark Knight was awfully overated and bad

This movie is so hard to watch for me. This Wolverine was literally there since i was a baby, no joke. I grew up with this Wolverine. This movie in my opinion is flawless. As flawless as a movie can be, this trailer perfectly captures the movie’s tone as well which is very important. Looking back, I wouldnt change a thing. For 17 years, i always had a constant, and it was Wolverine. God bless this movie and everyone who was a part of it
I agree I was honestly crying, such a great movie.

There’s a scene I remember as a kid - in the old x men movies where Logan gets shot in the head and the bullet falls out moments later. Meanwhile here he had to squeeze out the lead the car strippers shot and it looked so painful. Watching him age hurt in the best way.

Also I see what you did there! :D

Nope, it's Mark Millar's Old Man Logan.

It's because it's so real.
