I've been trying to leave chat on and ignore negativity. It's very difficult but telling them to breathe and focus sometimes works. Admitting you're wrong and apologizing over and over is good too, even tho you've done nothing wrong. They even end up thanking me sometimes.
Why is the correct answer for Lucian to push mid? I'd farm top red jg and ward baron pit. -We saw camps were up on the map, might as well check and give that info to the team if they're down. -He saw the three of them by drake pit. He knows they had vis of him alone not that far away. -Chances are some recalled to deal with Yone/ Shelly. It's equally likely one stayed behind to push mid since there was only a half hp Lucian there. -Pushing mid might give him more pressure in enemy jg, but Yone was already low and the enemy was in base. If Yone's smart he's taking jg camps as he's retreating. IMHO as a noob I don't see how Lucian pushing mid isn't over extending. He would be baiting anyone still in river to gank him. And chances are the three of them would have stayed and done just that in low elo instead of confront Yone/Shelly.
In higher elo's the enemy probably just backs to deal with Yone. However, in low elo, people prioritize kills over macro/objectives at least 80% of the time. Lucian likely dies by pushing mid in a low elo game because there's a good chance vi stays to kill lucian after annie spam pings after dying like that. . Even in a high elo game, the enemy team knows that Yone is without ult so Jinx+janna might just go deal with him with how safe that duo is. Some of the macro tips from Skill Capped don't end up working in low elo because the enemy often makes the wrong decision. The tips are the correct play to make assuming the enemy plays correctly, but if I had a dollar for every death in low elo that came from an enemy being in a completely random place they never should have been, I would just buy those people coaching sessions so that I don't die to the enemy being in the wrong place.

Well someone else said this but raptors is still a very good rotation with the map state. However the main point of that situation was recalling just doesnt do anything. If you go raptors you can pay attention to map and see if the three of them rotate to yone or if they try going for you. If they go for you walk towards krugs after raptors cause they probably arent aware that your there. If they go 3 into yone you can from raptors go to mid.
Tip: Setup a custom game, farm for 20 minutes. Repeat ten times. Yes, 10. Buy only a Doran or your preferred starter item. Go to lane and farm, no level up or use any abilities, for 20 minutes. Ten games. Don't kill the bot on your lane, don't push turrets, you will not buy any items anyway. That's right, no items, besides the Doran. And a Potion. Another set of 10 games if you want champions with special abilities such as MF Q, Tristana's inability to not push... It should take you 4 or 5 hours to do this. When you see you are getting less farm, it is because you are tired. Have a break and discard those bad games, they don't count. For fun, make an excel spreadsheet with cs/min, total cs @10, @15 and @20, number of successful canons or whatever you see fit. You can make it interesting, try 3-wave management, cheaters recall, freeze, slow push, fast push, recall on cannon wave, recall when you have enough gold to buy something. Yeah, you won't really buy it, it is just for the recall exercise. Next time on lane you will see the improvements. And your power bcs now you have the gold. Add this to the macro game lessons and you will climb another 5 ranks. Edit: This is for one specific champion. You wanna have 3 ADC's on your roster? Do this entire exercise x3, ten games each champion, they have different amount of damage, 1-2-3-4 Jhin, MF love tap, Cait 7th shot (6th when in brush)... One week of hard but rewarding work.

I think the Lucian game is a poor example, since the Vi is in fact in his own botside Jgl and he has no vision if she paths from there to mid. Maybe Jinx went with her too, only Janna based on vision. What‘s important here is if Lucian has a ward to ward around his broken mid t1 to spot them in this case. Vi could know about the vision in river and just avoid it. Stop her recall since Yone backed off. Imo Lucian could also just farm Top camps and collect mid afterwards, they shouldn‘t prey on him at that point.
U could argue that he should be able to outplay Vi engage easily with Flash and E, however Skillcapped just stated how obviously enemies based and even then they would approach him on vision. Which isn‘t true, if they are smart and know or predict river vision

The thing about this is, yes they show what in a perfect game where everyone was following how they SHOULD play it, their info is good and crisp, but this is low elo lobbies, ppl are gonna do weird shit, just cause we follow the rules doesn't mean they will, so I don't understand doing cookie cutter things into a game of randomness to improve yourself, its just not conventional. Not trying to bash them but it's just not realistic, my idea was to farm the top lane camps, then walk back to mid or base, cause I wouldn't know where anyone was when they cleared the top side creeps.
@@miorosa318 The reason this video exists is literally so you don't have 5 teammates running around like chickens with their heads cut off, the more people who understand how this works, the better your chance of winning. The whole "everyones playing randomly" is no excuse to not try and improve your own gameplay.
I’m pretty good at spotting when to fight and when to back off, but my teammates always rush in anyways and so I try to follow them to give them the best chance at survival. What I learned from this video is that sometimes I just need to let them die when they pick a dumb fight. Problem is, I’m not much of an ADC - I play more tanks/bruisers. So I’m usually closer to the frontline and get few opportunities to split off and farm. They need my bulk.
well the irony is that if you are with them then they are more likely to have a false sense of safety and does stupid things... I usually just navigate around the map to the closest possible farm/camp and that is just the grouping tax if jun doesnt like it
Also if there is no dragon/baron I never group unless someone very threatening like noct exists on enemy team but you being the tank probably can just solobolo them anyways
a friend of mine did the same things and played your type of champions the thing is we are both top mains so in ranked we went with im mid(played my otp trynd anyway) hes top but we kept loosing even if both of us hardwon lane so we changed it to him going supp(mostly engage/cc) and from there on his winrate spiked and i gave him some tips about pinging and stuff and yeah hopefully we will reach plat someday
8:00 aniva is top but her opposition was in jungle near her and she ends up at the fight at the same time Ryze does, so the team fight was even the entire time, caits move here to support the fight was good, the issue was how deep they all went to fight, and over committed and migrated all the way down river instead of toward safety and toward anivia while fighting. the macro was good choice, the micro failed bad
6:30 3 enemies with almost full health in the jungle next to you as adc with half health, and you dont have vision of them, you can only see janna backing in a spot she knows you can see her.. thats super sus, and id be expecting one of the others to be coming out of jungle to get me, so I would actually NOT push another wave but instead move up and away from enemy, and take raptors so i can see if they really did back since taking raptors at the state takes 3 seconds anyway. If they do come out of jungle you can always retreat even farther back, and take krugs. if they instead show up at yone, then you finish raps and push another mid wave knowing you are actually safe

A general theme across a lot of the guides I've seen on this channel is that you should largely ignore team fights and go farm if those fights are unfavourable. I am bronze so lord knows, I don't know anything about the game. But in a good game where my team is keeping on par or ahead I average 9+ CS. The problem I'm having is that the games I lose are ones where someone on the opposing team is 10-0 at 15 minutes and my team keeps engaging. The advice is to go farm, but each time the team loses these fights, the enemy has got another 4+ kills in the bag and freefarm across the 3/4s of the map that I'm not actively pushing. Eventually the advantage the opposing team has created just overwhelms the individual gold you might have stacked on your ADC and their duelist can simply oneshot you, or at the very least isolate you in team fights. How do you turn a game like this where kill volume just badly outpaces what you're getting even with a strong CS score?
In these losing games you have two options : - Farm by yourself while letting your team fight unfavorably because the enemy team is stronger : they die, you're now alone with your CS. - Give up SOME farm to be present in fights that you deem reasonable (in terms of positioning, vision, CD's, whether the enemy katarina is 10/0 or not isn't the question) : you all die (which means that the enemy team gets one more kill than they would've had anyway if you stayed farming = barely changes anything), or your team manages to get some kills because you participated With one solution, you can't change anything in the game as it spirals downwards, while with the other, you MAY change something, or die trying.
In bronze it's not always this simple, think like this, if we can kill the "fed one" , then sure let's fight, but if we can not, then just look for the farm and get some items, try to split push when you see all 5 enemy members are mid or at opposing lane ( if they are top go bot, if they are bot go top) Split pushing in bronze and silver, even in gold sometimes is so effective and better choice, than to blindly fight 5v5 where your team clearly can not win, if they flame you, just mute usually your team think you are at fault, but that's not true, you simply doing the best you currently can, and remember not every game is winnable don't stress when you lose and take pause of 5-10 min, if you are tilted or fill exhausted. Try to focus on farm in lanning phase where you can get advantage by not being to aggressive, and just punish your opponent when their big abbilities (ex. morgana q, thresh q) are on cooldown. Also if your support don't take exhaust, take it for yourself, everything oneshots so better be safe, but practice few game to get a filling on that.
You farm until you hit a big item spike, then you sneak around the teamfight while your team int their faces off and try to get those big fat shutdowns, then you carry.
In some low elo games, it can be the right choice to do the wrong thing. By playing correctly, you often avoid the fights that you know you shouldn't take, but your team goes for anyway. If you can perform well in fights, even if they weren't good fights to take, you can get your team to play around you, and you have a chance at them listening to your calls. If you're never with the team at fights, your team won't know it's because you're playing smart. They will just think you're trolling and never listen to your calls. Even if you being there only leads to losing the fight 3 kills to 2 rather than 4 kills to 0, that's less of a gold loss, and you can potentially recover as your team listens to you more.
Oh wow... As a jungler I'm not meant to have as much farm but I still get 6.5/min at least aiming for 7.5 currently consistently. And in silver, how can you be a diamond carry and not manage at least 6.5

i would argue that the better play for Lucian was to take the two blue side camps on his side and push down bot, as the enemy would be drawn to upper base tower anyway. maybe im wrong, just a thought.
This is my take: Taking enemy camps is more gold efficient, as you’re putting the enemy further behind, plus opening mid lane gives the enemy team far less further map control compared to opening a side lane
My experience in low elo tells me At least one of the enemies but maybe more wont back to def but try to Greed for the lucian no matter how stupid the chase will be
Lol, that example at the start. Draven with shieldbow, LW and boots getting wrecked by a Tahm with only doran's, boots and a cloth armour (and only 1 level above Draven). Yep it's the farming!
In low elo a lot of your teammates will actively prevent you from farming after laning phase as adc, especially when you're behind. Most adcs have poor waveclear and weak abilities, so they can't contest when their mage is taking mid, hullbreaker bruiser is splitting top, and jungler is for some reason hoarding bot farm even though all his fucking camps are up (at which point I'd start taking his camps instead of course, but an adc who's already behind isn't exactly the fastest jungle clearer). I have it happen a lot even in plat and it's something you guys are completely ignoring, like your teammates won't actively starve you every single game you can't contest farm with them. Hell, it's pretty common for me to get flamed for low farm by the same jungler who's busy rushing to every goddamn free lane to hoard all the farm they can, like I'm supposed to outpace a Kayn using his wall-walk to hyperfarm lanes. I don't suck at farming, I can easily do 100 CS per 10 minutes in good circumstances and at least usually CS fine over the course of a game, but sometimes I end up with as little as 100 at 30 minutes (despite spending the entire game TRYING to farm) because I spend the whole laning phase playing passive due to being camped, then my entire team will play like a bunch of selfish clowns and stonewall me that hard from farming ANYTHING once laning ends. It's not that I'm not trying to farm (although I do sometimes get distracted with my team and leave a wave, I won't even try to say I don't), it's just sometimes the other people on my team are trying to farm too and they don't care at all about hurting their teammates in the process. And I should clarify that I play every role. ADC is the only role where this is a problem because nearly every other champion in the game has abilities that let them easily contest farm even when behind - and they aren't as farm reliant to begin with. I would REALLY love to see a playback of one of you challenjours competing with your own team for farm in low elo after getting camped out of lane. You preach that we're all just playing wrong, but there's no way to farm when your team straight up won't let you, I don't care how good at the game you are. I often (not always, but often enough) get close to all the farm I can, and when you get queued up with a bunch of anti-teammates who don't care if they make your life harder to get themselves ahead, sometimes you don't get a lot of farm. Period. And I would be willing to bet money that every single one of you at Skillcapped have had plenty of low elo games like that where you end up with less than half your usual CS, which you for some reason refuse to acknowledge. Because I guess it would be a horrible thing to tell your audience that yes, there are some factors you occasionally just can't do anything about? Really, I'd LOVE for you to tell me how to farm when you're already behind and both teams are trying to stop you. Would bet money even the best pros in the world drop at least 100 cs off their usual counts when they're in such a situation.

I love playing ashe as an adc in dragon lane, but my problem is my supports will almost always think " oh ashe can't do anything in early game and I can do better cuz I'm lulu/lux/any other support." Like yeah ashe is kinda weak and has low hp early game so that's why you need to help me damn! If I get help I can destroy the enemies without getting too hurt, like most other adc's
As a jungler, this video pointed out at 6:47 , when you know where enemies are, farm CLOSEST LANE and ENEMY JUNGLE CAMP(less for enemies). Do not waste time clearing team's jungle camp and making jungler and ADC both lose farm.
Sounds like a you problem not the team. In your world you have a teammate in every lane all game? Sounds like a fairy tale lol. You probably have bad roams, poor positioning and bad macro play so you're always on the wrong side of the map or in the wrong lane. Even when my team is camping every lane I can go farm enemy jungle when I know he's trying to setup drake. I can proxy waves and bushwhack with good vision placement and enemy tracking. I can be there BEFORE my shitty Kayne even thinks about it because I know his rotation, I'm tracking my top laner and my mid just fed so I know what is a available and what's not. Letting your team take bad fights so they die and you can farm is a good strategy if you're trying to carry. Ignoring Drake if it's not your win condition so you can steal enemy camps is a good strategy. Just focus on what you can improve because you're never going to change your teammates
@@AJ_00850 You do not always know where enemies are and in fact, rarely know where they ALL are. In low elo everybody wants to kill the adc and they will scrap every other objective to run across the map and int you, even if they lose something important or die in the process. Step over a ward while you're wandering into the enemy jungle by yourself to steal their farm and you're dead, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and it would ONLY be reliable in high elo. That is NOT what was being recommended in the video; you rarely have a good opportunity to just randomly steal the enemy jungle as ADC, especially when your team ISN'T winning and pushed halfway into the enemy side of the map. Seriously, you're suggesting an ADC who is already behind should go facecheck the enemy jungle to farm camps that will take time and HP for them to manage, as opposed to you the jungler just not randomly farming lanes. YOU are the one who should be in the enemy jungle to get farm while your ADC farms the side lane, and thinking it should be the opposite way around is absolutely insane. I'm obviously going to take a free camp when I can, but your opportunities to do so are far more numerous than mine - and regardless, you're pretty much griefing your team if you hoard all the farm from lanes as the jungler and expect your ADC to invade to get farm.

You can help it. Just don't fight stupid fights. If your team goes for a dumb fight and you know it's bad, then don't go. Look for something else that will get you an advantage, even if it's smaller than what the enemy team is getting. Remember, it's better to lose a fight 4 for 0 and a dragon but get a turret or steal jg camps than it is to lose a fight 5 for 0 and a dragon but gain nothing
Even though in lower elo there might be more fights, you usually get to obtain more farm during "farm windows", since most players don't worry that much about it, so you can just run around farming one side wave and jungle camp after another. This works especially well with builds involving items like "Runaan's Hurricane", since it allows you to clear waves/camps faster.
As far as the lucian example I say at the very least he should have done raptors, pushing the lane didn't seem the best idea. You used game sense to presume they would recall to protect inhib. But without actual visually seeing them recall, and knowing how low elo plays go. They would have at most sent maybe 1 person back and had two people greedy for another kill. After raptors, assess whether or not the enemy is backing THEN push mid.
Since I follow Skill Capped guides, I get flamed so much more. I realize my adc is doing a shitty engage, stay back and ping, then watch him get jumped from the brush by 3 people. The logical consequence now is me being called Fortnite trash.
idk man, even when I get full build adc, it takes 80 seconds to still kill a inting sion that built hullbreaker with lethality items, I just think bruisers and tanks are a bit too tanky and they can just one shot an adc as a lot of adcs are still in skill or item skill range for them to get on top of you
also Graves shou;d have stayed top and take that farm instead of going for Raptors and then back just to see tower going down and even if he was to push and them diving him and killing him it be still worth it seens he kept them busy while Yone was taking inhibitor top maybe even the base
But grouping is important in low elo cuz your teammate dont know that they shouldn't not fight and if you can help us to rebalance the fight. However your mates will just dying alone without doing one single kill
Problem is, always grouping makes the games a perpetual 50% chance at most. I guess you can do that for a bit, until you past bronze and can trust a tiny bit more in you teammates to not permafight

Talking about having no items when you can't farm, shows a draven with a full item boots and a component losing to a lvl 1 difference tahm kench who has a doran shield and a cloth.
Somehow, the only position and champion in which ive managed to consistently get 10 and sometimes even 11 cs per minute was kai sa mid. But i wasnt doing anything else for like 15 min, not rotating or anything. And i also suck at kai sa to be fair. But it was still cool to have that much early gold.

this advice is just bad and contradicts with other stuff this channel said. Especially in low elo, you need to make plays that work for your team, not ideal plays. So even though farming might be the better option, your team won't have the patience/game sense/awareness and will not hesitate to take the fight and die. Yes, you got your 2 waves, which is probably worth a lot of gold and experience, but if 3 or 4 members of your team die, it's just not worth it. Some might argue that it's the team's fault for going for a bad fight, but I'll argue that it's your fault for expecting your team to be made up of better players than they actually are, they're low elo for a reason. However, this is good advice for controlled environments, such as Clash and sometimes tryhard flex as 5 premades.
My team when i leave them in a teamfight alone, well now im not playing with you anymore and ignore you, like you did us, no matter if its good or not. I had it once that somebody wanted me to not pick a champ and bevouse i didnt cared she just outright wasted her ban just so i dont play this champ. Luckyly it wasnt a ranked, but just normal draft. They realy dont care if its good as long as they got what they wanted, and if not they outright ready to lose the game for it.
I’m a midlane main. But I decided to try adc Xayah back in season 10. I got 2 pentakills in the first 5-10 games. It’s crazy what having good cs can do on adcs. Since I’m in low elo I just farmed until 20-30 mins then got free kills handed to me.
I love the content and have been watching for a long time but I have one critique for that's been bothering me for a long time, I am sorry to sound like a cry baby but I want to speak up for others that might feel the same way. My issue is that the titles, sound to demeaning towards your customers. If you were to change the tone and verbiage toward a more progressive/positive way it would feel less toxic. A perfect example would be for this topic is rather then "why you suck at farming", you could write "how to improve your farming." Honesty I know the player base sees much worse on a daily bases while playing the game, I think the negative attitude of the player base needs to change and you can be a voice of that change rather then an addition to it. Again love the content it's by far my favorite for the market keep up the good work.
they don't listen at all. after the game when the game when your team wins and you tell them that was not a team work. they type things like shut up we won and look at your stats you are a horrible player. dude you won because i protected the base all the time. we would lose the game if i do not protect the base. they still pushing risky all the time feeding the enemy and dying many times. they flame on you after the game. there were many games where i than didn't protet the base and we lose the game and they also gone crazy on me. you want help and nobody is coming for help and lanes getting destroyed. guy in the jungle still farming instead of coming for help. he has level 7 and me 9 the enemy also level 9. we can destroy him easily because i don't have the right champion against the enemy i need gank alittle bit. but no they play selfish.

IMHO as a noob I don't see how Lucian pushing mid isn't over extending. He would be baiting anyone still in river to gank him. And chances are the three of them would have stayed and done just that in low elo instead of confront Yone/Shelly.

In higher elo's the enemy probably just backs to deal with Yone. However, in low elo, people prioritize kills over macro/objectives at least 80% of the time. Lucian likely dies by pushing mid in a low elo game because there's a good chance vi stays to kill lucian after annie spam pings after dying like that. . Even in a high elo game, the enemy team knows that Yone is without ult so Jinx+janna might just go deal with him with how safe that duo is. Some of the macro tips from Skill Capped don't end up working in low elo because the enemy often makes the wrong decision. The tips are the correct play to make assuming the enemy plays correctly, but if I had a dollar for every death in low elo that came from an enemy being in a completely random place they never should have been, I would just buy those people coaching sessions so that I don't die to the enemy being in the wrong place.

Well someone else said this but raptors is still a very good rotation with the map state. However the main point of that situation was recalling just doesnt do anything. If you go raptors you can pay attention to map and see if the three of them rotate to yone or if they try going for you. If they go for you walk towards krugs after raptors cause they probably arent aware that your there. If they go 3 into yone you can from raptors go to mid.
Anyway main idea instead of taking what they say to do in the video see what you can do in that situation and figure out how the situation plays out.
Tip: Setup a custom game, farm for 20 minutes. Repeat ten times. Yes, 10.
Buy only a Doran or your preferred starter item. Go to lane and farm, no level up or use any abilities, for 20 minutes. Ten games.
Don't kill the bot on your lane, don't push turrets, you will not buy any items anyway. That's right, no items, besides the Doran. And a Potion.
Another set of 10 games if you want champions with special abilities such as MF Q, Tristana's inability to not push...
It should take you 4 or 5 hours to do this.
When you see you are getting less farm, it is because you are tired. Have a break and discard those bad games, they don't count.
For fun, make an excel spreadsheet with cs/min, total cs @10, @15 and @20, number of successful canons or whatever you see fit.
You can make it interesting, try 3-wave management, cheaters recall, freeze, slow push, fast push, recall on cannon wave, recall when you have enough gold to buy something. Yeah, you won't really buy it, it is just for the recall exercise.
Next time on lane you will see the improvements. And your power bcs now you have the gold.
Add this to the macro game lessons and you will climb another 5 ranks.
Edit: This is for one specific champion. You wanna have 3 ADC's on your roster? Do this entire exercise x3, ten games each champion, they have different amount of damage, 1-2-3-4 Jhin, MF love tap, Cait 7th shot (6th when in brush)... One week of hard but rewarding work.

I think the Lucian game is a poor example, since the Vi is in fact in his own botside Jgl and he has no vision if she paths from there to mid. Maybe Jinx went with her too, only Janna based on vision.

Vi could know about the vision in river and just avoid it. Stop her recall since Yone backed off.

The thing about this is, yes they show what in a perfect game where everyone was following how they SHOULD play it, their info is good and crisp, but this is low elo lobbies, ppl are gonna do weird shit, just cause we follow the rules doesn't mean they will, so I don't understand doing cookie cutter things into a game of randomness to improve yourself, its just not conventional. Not trying to bash them but it's just not realistic, my idea was to farm the top lane camps, then walk back to mid or base, cause I wouldn't know where anyone was when they cleared the top side creeps.

The whole "everyones playing randomly" is no excuse to not try and improve your own gameplay.
I’m pretty good at spotting when to fight and when to back off, but my teammates always rush in anyways and so I try to follow them to give them the best chance at survival. What I learned from this video is that sometimes I just need to let them die when they pick a dumb fight.
Problem is, I’m not much of an ADC - I play more tanks/bruisers. So I’m usually closer to the frontline and get few opportunities to split off and farm. They need my bulk.
You need to ping a lot. Imagine low elo players like sheeps, in order to get them to go where you want them you need to yell at them.
well the irony is that if you are with them then they are more likely to have a false sense of safety and does stupid things... I usually just navigate around the map to the closest possible farm/camp and that is just the grouping tax if jun doesnt like it

the thing is we are both top mains so in ranked we went with im mid(played my otp trynd anyway) hes top but we kept loosing even if both of us hardwon lane
so we changed it to him going supp(mostly engage/cc)
and from there on his winrate spiked

6:30 3 enemies with almost full health in the jungle next to you as adc with half health, and you dont have vision of them, you can only see janna backing in a spot she knows you can see her.. thats super sus, and id be expecting one of the others to be coming out of jungle to get me, so I would actually NOT push another wave but instead move up and away from enemy, and take raptors so i can see if they really did back since taking raptors at the state takes 3 seconds anyway. If they do come out of jungle you can always retreat even farther back, and take krugs. if they instead show up at yone, then you finish raps and push another mid wave knowing you are actually safe

A general theme across a lot of the guides I've seen on this channel is that you should largely ignore team fights and go farm if those fights are unfavourable.
I am bronze so lord knows, I don't know anything about the game. But in a good game where my team is keeping on par or ahead I average 9+ CS. The problem I'm having is that the games I lose are ones where someone on the opposing team is 10-0 at 15 minutes and my team keeps engaging. The advice is to go farm, but each time the team loses these fights, the enemy has got another 4+ kills in the bag and freefarm across the 3/4s of the map that I'm not actively pushing.
Eventually the advantage the opposing team has created just overwhelms the individual gold you might have stacked on your ADC and their duelist can simply oneshot you, or at the very least isolate you in team fights.
How do you turn a game like this where kill volume just badly outpaces what you're getting even with a strong CS score?
In these losing games you have two options :
- Farm by yourself while letting your team fight unfavorably because the enemy team is stronger : they die, you're now alone with your CS.
- Give up SOME farm to be present in fights that you deem reasonable (in terms of positioning, vision, CD's, whether the enemy katarina is 10/0 or not isn't the question) : you all die (which means that the enemy team gets one more kill than they would've had anyway if you stayed farming = barely changes anything), or your team manages to get some kills because you participated
With one solution, you can't change anything in the game as it spirals downwards, while with the other, you MAY change something, or die trying.
In bronze it's not always this simple, think like this, if we can kill the "fed one" , then sure let's fight, but if we can not, then just look for the farm and get some items, try to split push when you see all 5 enemy members are mid or at opposing lane ( if they are top go bot, if they are bot go top)
Split pushing in bronze and silver, even in gold sometimes is so effective and better choice, than to blindly fight 5v5 where your team clearly can not win, if they flame you, just mute usually your team think you are at fault, but that's not true, you simply doing the best you currently can, and remember not every game is winnable don't stress when you lose and take pause of 5-10 min, if you are tilted or fill exhausted.
Try to focus on farm in lanning phase where you can get advantage by not being to aggressive, and just punish your opponent when their big abbilities (ex. morgana q, thresh q) are on cooldown. Also if your support don't take exhaust, take it for yourself, everything oneshots so better be safe, but practice few game to get a filling on that.
You farm until you hit a big item spike, then you sneak around the teamfight while your team int their faces off and try to get those big fat shutdowns, then you carry.
In some low elo games, it can be the right choice to do the wrong thing. By playing correctly, you often avoid the fights that you know you shouldn't take, but your team goes for anyway. If you can perform well in fights, even if they weren't good fights to take, you can get your team to play around you, and you have a chance at them listening to your calls. If you're never with the team at fights, your team won't know it's because you're playing smart. They will just think you're trolling and never listen to your calls. Even if you being there only leads to losing the fight 3 kills to 2 rather than 4 kills to 0, that's less of a gold loss, and you can potentially recover as your team listens to you more.
Oh wow... As a jungler I'm not meant to have as much farm but I still get 6.5/min at least aiming for 7.5 currently consistently. And in silver, how can you be a diamond carry and not manage at least 6.5
I haven't played LoL aside from a weekend foray 12 or so years ago but this video really feels like "the only way to make the right play is with hindsight."
i would argue that the better play for Lucian was to take the two blue side camps on his side and push down bot, as the enemy would be drawn to upper base tower anyway. maybe im wrong, just a thought.
This is my take: Taking enemy camps is more gold efficient, as you’re putting the enemy further behind, plus opening mid lane gives the enemy team far less further map control compared to opening a side lane
My experience in low elo tells me
At least one of the enemies but maybe more wont back to def but try to Greed for the lucian no matter how stupid the chase will be

So when do you push mid? Seems like that was kinda neglected. Never touching a tower or putting pressure on the map wont get you good cs or wins.
In low elo a lot of your teammates will actively prevent you from farming after laning phase as adc, especially when you're behind. Most adcs have poor waveclear and weak abilities, so they can't contest when their mage is taking mid, hullbreaker bruiser is splitting top, and jungler is for some reason hoarding bot farm even though all his fucking camps are up (at which point I'd start taking his camps instead of course, but an adc who's already behind isn't exactly the fastest jungle clearer). I have it happen a lot even in plat and it's something you guys are completely ignoring, like your teammates won't actively starve you every single game you can't contest farm with them. Hell, it's pretty common for me to get flamed for low farm by the same jungler who's busy rushing to every goddamn free lane to hoard all the farm they can, like I'm supposed to outpace a Kayn using his wall-walk to hyperfarm lanes.
I don't suck at farming, I can easily do 100 CS per 10 minutes in good circumstances and at least usually CS fine over the course of a game, but sometimes I end up with as little as 100 at 30 minutes (despite spending the entire game TRYING to farm) because I spend the whole laning phase playing passive due to being camped, then my entire team will play like a bunch of selfish clowns and stonewall me that hard from farming ANYTHING once laning ends. It's not that I'm not trying to farm (although I do sometimes get distracted with my team and leave a wave, I won't even try to say I don't), it's just sometimes the other people on my team are trying to farm too and they don't care at all about hurting their teammates in the process. And I should clarify that I play every role. ADC is the only role where this is a problem because nearly every other champion in the game has abilities that let them easily contest farm even when behind - and they aren't as farm reliant to begin with.
I would REALLY love to see a playback of one of you challenjours competing with your own team for farm in low elo after getting camped out of lane. You preach that we're all just playing wrong, but there's no way to farm when your team straight up won't let you, I don't care how good at the game you are. I often (not always, but often enough) get close to all the farm I can, and when you get queued up with a bunch of anti-teammates who don't care if they make your life harder to get themselves ahead, sometimes you don't get a lot of farm. Period. And I would be willing to bet money that every single one of you at Skillcapped have had plenty of low elo games like that where you end up with less than half your usual CS, which you for some reason refuse to acknowledge. Because I guess it would be a horrible thing to tell your audience that yes, there are some factors you occasionally just can't do anything about?
Really, I'd LOVE for you to tell me how to farm when you're already behind and both teams are trying to stop you. Would bet money even the best pros in the world drop at least 100 cs off their usual counts when they're in such a situation.

I love playing ashe as an adc in dragon lane, but my problem is my supports will almost always think " oh ashe can't do anything in early game and I can do better cuz I'm lulu/lux/any other support." Like yeah ashe is kinda weak and has low hp early game so that's why you need to help me damn! If I get help I can destroy the enemies without getting too hurt, like most other adc's
As a jungler, this video pointed out at 6:47 , when you know where enemies are, farm CLOSEST LANE and ENEMY JUNGLE CAMP(less for enemies). Do not waste time clearing team's jungle camp and making jungler and ADC both lose farm.
Sounds like a you problem not the team. In your world you have a teammate in every lane all game? Sounds like a fairy tale lol. You probably have bad roams, poor positioning and bad macro play so you're always on the wrong side of the map or in the wrong lane. Even when my team is camping every lane I can go farm enemy jungle when I know he's trying to setup drake. I can proxy waves and bushwhack with good vision placement and enemy tracking. I can be there BEFORE my shitty Kayne even thinks about it because I know his rotation, I'm tracking my top laner and my mid just fed so I know what is a available and what's not. Letting your team take bad fights so they die and you can farm is a good strategy if you're trying to carry. Ignoring Drake if it's not your win condition so you can steal enemy camps is a good strategy. Just focus on what you can improve because you're never going to change your teammates

In low elo everybody wants to kill the adc and they will scrap every other objective to run across the map and int you, even if they lose something important or die in the process. Step over a ward while you're wandering into the enemy jungle by yourself to steal their farm and you're dead, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and it would ONLY be reliable in high elo. That is NOT what was being recommended in the video; you rarely have a good opportunity to just randomly steal the enemy jungle as ADC, especially when your team ISN'T winning and pushed halfway into the enemy side of the map.
Seriously, you're suggesting an ADC who is already behind should go facecheck the enemy jungle to farm camps that will take time and HP for them to manage, as opposed to you the jungler just not randomly farming lanes. YOU are the one who should be in the enemy jungle to get farm while your ADC farms the side lane, and thinking it should be the opposite way around is absolutely insane. I'm obviously going to take a free camp when I can, but your opportunities to do so are far more numerous than mine - and regardless, you're pretty much griefing your team if you hoard all the farm from lanes as the jungler and expect your ADC to invade to get farm.

You can help it. Just don't fight stupid fights. If your team goes for a dumb fight and you know it's bad, then don't go. Look for something else that will get you an advantage, even if it's smaller than what the enemy team is getting.
Remember, it's better to lose a fight 4 for 0 and a dragon but get a turret or steal jg camps than it is to lose a fight 5 for 0 and a dragon but gain nothing
not only low elo, in diamond some games i've seen people have near 4-5 cs/minute cuz they can't do anything but fight
Even though in lower elo there might be more fights, you usually get to obtain more farm during "farm windows", since most players don't worry that much about it, so you can just run around farming one side wave and jungle camp after another. This works especially well with builds involving items like "Runaan's Hurricane", since it allows you to clear waves/camps faster.
As far as the lucian example I say at the very least he should have done raptors, pushing the lane didn't seem the best idea. You used game sense to presume they would recall to protect inhib. But without actual visually seeing them recall, and knowing how low elo plays go. They would have at most sent maybe 1 person back and had two people greedy for another kill. After raptors, assess whether or not the enemy is backing THEN push mid.

idk man, even when I get full build adc, it takes 80 seconds to still kill a inting sion that built hullbreaker with lethality items, I just think bruisers and tanks are a bit too tanky and they can just one shot an adc as a lot of adcs are still in skill or item skill range for them to get on top of you

Somehow, the only position and champion in which ive managed to consistently get 10 and sometimes even 11 cs per minute was kai sa mid. But i wasnt doing anything else for like 15 min, not rotating or anything. And i also suck at kai sa to be fair. But it was still cool to have that much early gold.

this advice is just bad and contradicts with other stuff this channel said. Especially in low elo, you need to make plays that work for your team, not ideal plays. So even though farming might be the better option, your team won't have the patience/game sense/awareness and will not hesitate to take the fight and die. Yes, you got your 2 waves, which is probably worth a lot of gold and experience, but if 3 or 4 members of your team die, it's just not worth it. Some might argue that it's the team's fault for going for a bad fight, but I'll argue that it's your fault for expecting your team to be made up of better players than they actually are, they're low elo for a reason.
However, this is good advice for controlled environments, such as Clash and sometimes tryhard flex as 5 premades.
My team when i leave them in a teamfight alone, well now im not playing with you anymore and ignore you, like you did us, no matter if its good or not. I had it once that somebody wanted me to not pick a champ and bevouse i didnt cared she just outright wasted her ban just so i dont play this champ. Luckyly it wasnt a ranked, but just normal draft. I’m a midlane main. But I decided to try adc Xayah back in season 10. I got 2 pentakills in the first 5-10 games. It’s crazy what having good cs can do on adcs. Since I’m in low elo I just farmed until 20-30 mins then got free kills handed to me.
I love the content and have been watching for a long time but I have one critique for that's been bothering me for a long time, I am sorry to sound like a cry baby but I want to speak up for others that might feel the same way. My issue is that the titles, sound to demeaning towards your customers. If you were to change the tone and verbiage toward a more progressive/positive way it would feel less toxic. A perfect example would be for this topic is rather then "why you suck at farming", you could write "how to improve your farming." Honesty I know the player base sees much worse on a daily bases while playing the game, I think the negative attitude of the player base needs to change and you can be a voice of that change rather then an addition to it. Again love the content it's by far my favorite for the market keep up the good work.

they don't listen at all. after the game when the game when your team wins and you tell them that was not a team work. they type things like shut up we won and look at your stats you are a horrible player. dude you won because i protected the base all the time. we would lose the game if i do not protect the base. they still pushing risky all the time feeding the enemy and dying many times. they flame on you after the game. there were many games where i than didn't protet the base and we lose the game and they also gone crazy on me. you want help and nobody is coming for help and lanes getting destroyed. guy in the jungle still farming instead of coming for help. he has level 7 and me 9 the enemy also level 9. we can destroy him easily because i don't have the right champion against the enemy i need gank alittle bit. but no they play selfish.
