    Two weeks ago I applied for the associate to driver program and about week and half later I get an email from Walmart saying congratulations you have moved to the next step . We will be reviewing your application please don’t get discourage about this position since it’s competitive. Please pick the transportation office your prefer to work out of. Well I got that picked right off the bat. So now I’m just waiting the status on my app is still the same. I don’t have high hopes because there’s probably a lot of people I’m going against for this position. And this is only to get to an interview. Since you did a video about equal opportunity I hope they understand that I have a learning disability. I don’t consider myself stupid but when learning I process things little slower and I ask more questions. I hope Walmart understands this. This doesn’t give me an excuse to be lazy and not care for safety i don’t pick up on things as fast sometimes

      @ghostlynoots8995 You can only apply if they are offering the program at a GM DC thats within 250 miles from you. I found out about it through an email from HR advising that we can now apply in my state. We had three weeks to apply and then it's closed to applicants after that. I made it through the application process and have an interview next week, but just like in Florida, there are only two openings here in Arizona so my chances are slim but going to do my best anyways as I was told we can apply every quarter if I don't get it this time around.

    I have an interview tomorrow, no traffic violation, no accidents. I am a bit worried about my experience. I have 3+ years doing Class B Oil tanker, 1 year of Class A Car Hauling, 6 months of Class A Dry Van (53ft), and plenty of years (Army National Guard) doing combination vehicles with LMTV's and Trailers.
    They didn't state the minimum experience required, so I'm a little concerned about my experience, particularly with Dry Van. Like I'm confident in my abilities, I'm just not sure Walmart would.
    What was your experience before you got hired to drive for Walmart?
    (This last question is for anyone in the comments, if they work for Walmart as a Driver)

    • @walmartprofessionaldriver

    • @They_not_like_me
      @They_not_like_me ปีที่แล้ว

      @walmartprofessionaldriver sap is for drivers who failed or refused a drug test before. You have to go through the dot sap program. substance abuse program, it takes 5 years to fall off yo record, most companies won't hire you until 2-3 years in, but you can find a handful that will take you immediately.

    • @walmartprofessionaldriver
      @walmartprofessionaldriver  ปีที่แล้ว

      No because when it asks you how much experience you have you will be short and your application won't even be considered. You need to wait till you have exactly 30 months so your application is given a fair shake. You me as a reference and you'll be golden
