I just watched this and if I didn’t find this video, I would’ve scoured the internet to try and find out what the fuck the movie was about. Now I don’t have to. Now I know. Thanks to you. You saved me from watching it probably 2 more times tonight. But I’ll be watching it probably 100 more times in the future.
I tried to watch this 3 times before being able to grasp it! You must be open minded to “ get “ this truth about the ego. Bravo to him for doing this movie! Lots of moral lessons here !
Sir, thanks for recompilation and yes that scene and this movie should be at top 3 of any intellectual/open minded/fearless/deep thinking person or should I say no thinking person.
I Think "The Elevator Scene" Sums Up the Movie.. When Jacob 'wrestled' with 'God' and prevailed. The Victory over our 'Lower Selves' IS the Ultimate Goal...
The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you would ever look. That's correct, who would thought the enemy would hide behind the movie industry credibility,i didn't i wouldn't of thought that in a billion years, you da man enemy, you da man.
Junk confused mess of a pretentious piece of crap movie😁... especially the other cut/edit shown on Netflix that has pompous psychologists parrot some crap about the "Ego" or "Id" and cuts out critical plot twists that actually give SOME credibility to the film instead of making it into some bizarre, surreal film noir wannabe Lynch/Bunuel/Pasolini crap - Chinatown did it better - Angel Heart did it better - Apocalypse Now did it better - Memento did it better. Just make a damn movie like Lock Stock, Snatch, Rocknrolla, or Gentlemen THAT MAKES SENSE, Guy. 😄
Yeah, Guy is very straight forward movie maker. Your take on the movie is just one way of the spectators resistance playing out. I've seen all of the above movies and none beat the key existential moment and the potential message hitting the spectator conscious thought in the future that is above the elevator scene in Revolver. The obvious is out and the obvious always become a norm to digest by the masses.
thank you for this stuff 💪
Best film EVER
Its the best movie ever if your anal and lameo
one of the best movies ever made just watched it for the 3rd time
One of my favourites. Probably 5th time I've seen it
It’s literally one of the stupidest films ever made 😂

One of my top 5 films of all time. Shame the population is too dim to understand this film
Absolutely i feel you. That's why we're here to make it popular. It will be soon.

This movie put me on a spiritual path. You have to be ready for this movie !
Be ready to blow up your TV after watching it.

Yes, the most effective part of the movie, indeed. Cheers!!
Best movie ever created.
When I fear and feel hopeless, this movie gives me knowledge that it is only a game.

Yes 100%
Very deep movie.
Indeed, still #1 movie in the history of Cinema.
best EVER
There's still 2 characters in this movie that got me rewatching it a thousand times.
@@OlafBreda Lol. Actually, the characters are French Paul and Dorothy Macha, not Avi and Zack.
@@peanbean1613 Angels & Demons ;)
Guy did not appreciate Mrs Ritchie interrupting his explanation

Great!
I was in the wrong neighborhood once and an actual physical external enemy beat and robbed me.
😂🤣

When Jacob 'wrestled' with 'God' and prevailed. The Victory over our 'Lower Selves' IS the Ultimate Goal...
Extremely deep move
Overall it's a very good film but a little bit too complicated though it still stays in my number 1 favourite movie until now.
Amazing movie bout enlightenment
Anyone read the newspaper topics ( it's current news even though this movie took place a decade ago)
02:22 - Yes. She is absolutely right.
Well... at least this one time 😅
@@Zibit21 only talking about this one time.
This movie is fucking profound
At least when your ego goes off you feel alive, unlike the numb feeling you get trying to watch revolver

Shame he needed to explain it
Are Avi and Zach his imaginary friends?
Yes...guardian angels
I think they're him, his conscious and subconscious mindset
Ultimately they are one, he’s a branch separated due to ego. The film is about him “waking up” to his real identity
